They upkeep the place really well. Expensive but beautiful resort. Perfect for kids and love the barefoot environment. Went for night fishing and we ate the fishes next day. Yummy yummy.

Very tasty food, seafood that was first tasted I loved, thanks to the great chef.

Absolutely beautiful resort to go to. Great for honeymoon. When I visited, was able to see the whale shark in the first 10 minutes and the dozens of dolphins by jet skies. However, the chances of seeing the whale shark is way lower than what the staff may tell you. Had good food but not the best. Can understand since it is an private island and hard to get quality food quickly. The underwater restaurant is fantastic. Overall, a lot of things you can do there, 4 days was not enough for me :)

PARADISE! Yes, the journey is long (coming from the USA), but it is so worth it. We went in March 2018 and we felt like we were the only people there. I cannot say enough great things about this resort — the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are having a good time and are comfortable. We stayed in the Water Villa (we paid with Hilton Points! ) which was super quiet and remote. It was a trek to the "main island", but it is a beautiful walk and they will ALWAYS come pick you up if you do not want to walk or take the boat over. Don't wait, go now. We cannot wait to return!

Very quiet and cozy place. Sea colors are more than seven. At night stars are pouring down from every direction. Can feel the sound of breeze and wave so vividly. The place you can maximize your senses and your feelings.

No 5-Star quality in some areas it cannot be that we (2 people) sit at the table with 4 empty plates, because no waiter is served. Because the service is better in a simple Inn.

This place is paradise. You need to take a sea plane from Male airport. This is probably the only property with 2 islands. It's beautiful and serene. They have several restaurants including Ithaa the underwater sea food restaurant within a glass dome. The place is no doubt extremely pricey but it's an experience.

And when we are already in the journeys: the Conrads must not be missing. This is the once-in-a-lifetime experience. The special thing is not only that two islands are connected, also the underwater restaurant is unique (it is necessary to reserve in time, as there are only a dozen places). It is served in 12 courses, while the sea animals are not only on the plate, they also swim around one. Absurd, but not a deterrent. A great alternative is the Japanese restaurant, which was built into a hollow and the "wine cellar" is an architectural statement. In life we have not yet experienced such a breakfast, in the spa area you look at a floor window during the massage and see many colourful fish. As divers we were happy to romp between the rays and the dolphins. There are also small tiger sharks and — wow — impressively large whale sharks. A crossing to a native island, inhabited with locals, was much less touristy than feared. It's a pity to just be on the road, because you don't want to leave the accommodation. Each villa has its own jacuzzi and pool. No more. Clearly, we were in paradise.

Great first visit here during the holiday break. They even have all the kids Christmas presents on Christmas day! I thought that was great! They didn't have to but they did. Very family friendly place and the staff here are great. The staff here looks out for you and we felt like this was more of a dream vacation than we were expecting. It's is a little pricey but considering the cost of staff and upkeep of this place I think it is reasonable. This is an island in the middle of the ocean meaning there are no power lines (place runs on diesel and maybe solar? ). Staff outnumber the guests. Workers work hard and they seem to enjoy what they do even though they are away from their families months at a time. Perks are available for those who have status. This place definitely tops our trip to Tahiti. We are already thinking about our next trip here which is hopefully sooner than later and more on the regular rather than special occasions.

Most wonderful place with very good service quality, friendly and helpful staff. We have been going back to Conrad Maldives almost every year as we have not found anything which could compete with this place! They really take care of their guests and give the best to them! Highly recommend to visit this beautiful island.

Very nice resort with excellent service. Everybody is very friendly. Snorkeling on the house reef is good but unfortunately it died a couple years ago. Still plenty of fish around and also saw reef sharks turtles etc. As Hilton Gold or Diamond you get free afternoon tea and at happy hour a small snack and free drinks.

This is where you spend a dreamlike holiday. It's really all right. It would be time again. We were there in 2001.

Beautiful resort. Phenomenal service. The staff is very well organized and communicates very well. As soon as we stepped on the property it seemed that everyone knew our name from our personal Concierge as well as the wait staff at the bar and restaurant. The scenery is breath taking and accommodations are luxurious. This is hands down the best resort in the Maldives.

Had the time in my life. Everything was superb and the people were so kind! The activities they offer are once in a life time. Food was good every single time I ate.

This resort is paradise! The food is pricey but delicious. The service is impeccable. We upgraded from a beach villa to a spa overwater bungalow and it was well worth it. Dinner at the underwater restaurant is worth it if you're there on honeymoon or celebrating! The diving nearby is phenomenal too.

This was the best hotel I have stayed in my life. Everything perfect till the last detail. Amazing villas, beautiful views, friendly and polite service, 11 restaurants with gourmet food, many activities, water and beach ones, great house reef for snorkeling, amazing whale shark tour. I am sure I will be back one day.

My first 6 star resort experience. Good food options, helpful staff, excellent excursions. The reef is in bad shape. Not much you can do about it though. Make this a non smoking resort please. Say hi to George the pelican at the restaurant.

Very expensive place. But it's worth every dollar when they treat you like a king. I would recommend this place at least once in your life.

From start to finish the Conrad ruined us for all other resorts. We arrived by seaplane for my 40th Birthday and were just to stay one night. The staff made it the most memorable day-night-day of all our holiday experiences. We ate at the underwater restaurant and our 2 wait staff made the experience very personal. I was worried about how noisy the experience might be given other reviews about noisy Chinese nationals that I had previously read but it was anything but. The whole restaurant was ore struck by the amazing fish — it was all very interactive and enjoyable. We had Oscar 8 and Eva 6 with us and the staff made sure that the set menu was tailored to what they would eat, so each sumptuous course was made kid friendly. They loved it, we loved it. Worth every cent. It was the perfect 40th Birthday that I had hoped for. Afterwards we were taken to our room by our personal concierge (Hussain) who was so incredible at pre-empting our every need. Even suggesting baby-sitting for that night so my husband and I could have dinner together. We were also taken to the water sport and scuba dive centre where we collected the free (and premium) snorkelling kit so we could enjoy the house reef. The house reef was incredible. So many beautiful fish and coral and the water such a perfect temperature (May). Dinner that night was Japanese teppanyaki set menu on the beach. One word. Incredible! I really can’t gush enough about the whole experience. If only life was like the Conrad.

Lovely resort with nice beaches and great reefs for snorkeling. Take one of the beach villas near the reefs and you can go snorkeling right outside your room. There were loads of fish, reef sharks and I even spotted a big green turtle.

Lovely place with a lot of activities dont miss the dinner underwater. Superb.

In some areas no 5-star quality.

Unique location, extremely courteous and helpful staff, wide selection of restaurants, spacious villas (we had six nights of water Villa and seven nights Beach Villa rented, what is recommended, because it perfectly meets both layers).
Only, but larger Downer: the terrible children, destroy any recovery with their noise. The W retreat offers freedom and peace against these troublemakers as adult only hotel.

It was an AMAZING place, I really loved it, you will to, I promise, and if you don't I will hunt you down and I will find you and I will make you LOVE it. Ok. Hope you enjoy your stay! :)

Definitely one of the best five resorts I've visited around the world. I would rate it as follows: -Hospitality and friendly environment 5 stars -food 2 stars (lots to work on for variety and to enhance quality) -Luxury 4 stars. (lots of improvement and renovation needed to make it a heavenly place. Little details could make a difference like lake of wall hangers and some colorful architectural work is badly needed) — scenery 5 stars — sport and water activities (it is very important not to get bored) 4 stars. -water and — spa 4 stars. — island orientation, sea direction and snorkeling experience 5 stars. — island location to male airport 3 stars (as you need a sea plan to get there, and they weigh all your belongings including my wife purse and then charge you extra money for any extra than your allowance which is 30 kg) sea plan experience is nice by itself however it stops to drop off or pick up passengers from another resort. It is not pleasant if you have asthma, as it is really hot and confined when it is waiting for take off. — pillows, covers, bed and comfort of sleep 3 stars. — accommodation options : 5 stars, they have heifer eng guy pets and styles of villas to suit all requirements. — value for money 4 stars. Overall, it was really nice experience and would definitely recommend it for couples or families for a memorable getaway.

Our second year back, and it didn't disappoint. From Simon our customer service agent to the lovely guy that cleaned the room. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff seem genuinely happy to attend to your every whim. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Awesome! A beautiful view of the reef and easy access from your water villa.

A luxury hotel in the Maldives satisfy even the most demanding tastes. Its originality lies even in the fact that it is located on two separate islands which are connected by a bridge. In the middle you can dine in one of the seven restaurants that are under water and rises above them glazed ceiling. Having a meal so we can admire the underwater splendor. The cheapest room will cost us 827.72 dollars. For this price at our disposal remains 150 sqm of space, terrace, private garden open-air bathroom with a huge bath and mini-bar.

If there was an option to give six stars I would have. Upon arrival in Maldives you get a sense that you're in a tiny place. This is due to the fact that the airport looks more like a bus station. A temporary accommodation is arranged on the main island. It's OK, nothing special. Next day, a fun flight be sea plane to the island. Upon arrival you're greeted by your own host and given a fragrant wet towel. We stayed at the beach villa which is a much better choice than the over the sea villas, despite the looks. Our wedding was arranged there too mostly by others. In included a bit of a traditional beach walk, an underwater restaurant ceremony and some really nice pampering. We wrapped the day up with a lovely dinner and a sunset cruise. The villas are luxurious in the true sense of its word but without taking away the 'resort' feel. Floors are sand. Even in some of the restaurants. Short trips to nearby islands are fun and the sea is super clear, ideal for snorkelling. The whole experience isn't cheap, but then again, you only live once. I want to go back.

Oh, my God! I m traveling a lot around the world and Conrad Maldives is the best! I m here at the business center and My husband, my son and I don't want to leave. The place is marble, incredible! clean, the food is out of this world, so taste! The room are comfortable, big, clean and beautiful, every single room is on the beach! The kids club center is wonderful great for kids, so nice activities for the kids! Simon, Rasim, Tuck Tuck and all the staff so friendly and so nice I love them and I will miss them. Restaurant under sea 5 starts! the restaurant and the other side of the island Vilu the best breakfast a la carte, and the romantic dinner at night! The bar at the beach Quite Zone, the best variety of curry and quality on the food, we really enjoy it! They have show and singer very nice and sophisticate! The water activities, all the guys are working there are fantastic! so much fun The infinity pool surrender at most beautiful setting you never can imagine! And let me tell you about the spa I never see something like this, I complete love it, love it, love it! believe me I m spa girl and this is something unique and beautiful, but all the beautiful things this place have the most important is the quality of people working here are amazing, incredible nice and friendly, food, facility and services grade 1 to 10 is 11 points! complete out of the world. I expend my 12 anniversary here and it was the most beautiful experience I ever had!
