It was great experience & we had such a beautiful experience at Crystal Sands Villa, Maafushi. Best value for the best price that's all I have to say about Crystal Sands Villa. There is only good things to say about our stay, From Jack (Manager) to all the way to front desk team, Restaurant staffs, boat crew and rest of the team. Jack upgraded our deluxe room to executive Room with beach view and comfortable with all amenities. The foods here was good with amazing options and tastes yummy. And don't miss riding bicycle (it is available at crystal sand villa) Through mafushi island. Water activities like Snorkeling, Jet ski, fun tube ride & kayaking was superb. Also Night fishing (we got one fish and they made Fish BBQ for us), Lunch at gulhi beach and BBQ dinner was splendid. We stayed 3nights and 4 Days there. We liked every bit of this trip. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. Our memories of Maldives will linger on for long, after our footprints in the sand are gone”❤️

I was feeling a bit under the weather, experiencing sore throat and low grade fever and their wonderful staff brought me medicines, hot water and salt. They went all the way up in our room to hand it to us directly at 2AM. Everyone is so helpful and kind. Their food and drinks are also amazing! Excursion trips are recommended as well. If you’ll go to Maafushi, book Crystal Sands! ❤️ Special thanks to Envie and Jack!

Friendly n helpful staffs… Good hospitality skilll… Kind… Helpful. Even they have great snorkeling teachers n and dive masters. I didt knw to swim n very scared to water bt with them help of they all… I manage to snorkel n had a great experience to see all the beutiful sea creatures n chorals n the beuty of the sea. So really I would recommend to anyone cos we had great unforgettable experience in maldives mafushi island. Tq.

Jack was an awesome host! He met us upon arrival and made sure every minute of our stay was as smooth as possible. He attended to our concerns as soon as possible. This place is very clean in and out, maintenance is kept at the highest standards. He was there to ensure we were recieved accordingly and was also there to make sure our departure was seemless. The staff—they were fabulous! Everyone is so nice and it was great to know as well that there were Pinoys working there who also had nothing to say but good things about Jack and how it is a delight working with the Crystal Sands family. The food was also fantastic! We had the full board so we had buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner! Needless to say, you can eat their delicious meals prepared by their awesome chef and kitchen staff. Overall it was a very memorable experience to stay here and glad to say I have met new friends and found a home away from home. I will definitely recommend this place and already look forward to my next visit in this lovely island with its lovely people.

Jack is very professional when it comes to hospitality for me the best manager ever all his team and the excursion staffs they go extra miles in everything from the pick up to the jetty ‘till the last day of our stay all are simply AMAZING we don’t feel like a guest but a family instead,, if I have a chance to come back in maafushi no twice thingking I will stay here again and again.

I loved the place a lot. The place was near and tidy with less clutter which I really love. The rooms were awesome. We didn't get the sea view rooms but still felt alright as we didn't spend much of our time in the room with so much to do and look around even. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were the best. They always had this big smile and served us with such delight. Hats of to them and the service.

We have 3 persons in a room one folder bed no pillow, no bath tower ask for poillow don give. Breakfast no good, Dinner no good. Wonder is it the room for 2 persons price?

Loved the staff they were all very Co operative and we stayed there for 6 days good sleeping beds and it was ideal place to stay in Mafushi very kids friendly too. We had full board all the time fresh food juices and at night candle light dinner at beach overall it was amazing.

Thnx for the delicious food. Just dropped in to have my fast breaking meal. The place showed a very clean environment and the staff were very friendly and kind. I hope the good hospitality will be maintained.

The room is small but good. The service is very good. I have seen a picture of the hotel. The pictures are same as the real. The hotel looks new.

Big thks to crystal sand team, for giving us memorable honey moon trip. Each n everything is arranged well. We booked ocean facing room, view from room was suprbb. Hotel z clean n providing delicious food 3 times. The staff was very friendly n helpful… Thk u sooo much for helping me to arrange surprise bdy cake at 12 midnight for my wife… reallyyy dat was grtt… I wil surely sugest ma frds, relatives to come here.

The service is very good, the room is warm and comfortable, will provide water, towels, baggage handling, breakfast, welcome drinks, room layout, airport transfer and snorkeling trip (at your own expense), bicycle 10 USD recommended the hotel's snorkeling trip, is my this Maltiff see the most fish trip. But there is no elevator, there is a mosque nearby, and you will hear the voice of prayer.

The hotel is very accomodating to your needs. The staff are amazingly polite and helpful. Place is also always clean, plus close to the port and facing the sea as well.

The hotel is fine. Jack, the front desk manager, has a perfect team which will give you the best service they can. The room was alright, nothing fancy. Except for 1 major cockroach (which my heroin smashed) and a power outage, no complaints about the hotel at all. Only thing was that the breakfast/dinner included were minimal. When you pay extra, you get better meals. Great hotel to have as base. From there, you have to book your excursions. We paid like $270 per adult and $100, — for a toddler. The excursions included First day night fishing. Great experience. Don't forget your camera. 2nd day was a full day on the resort Island Adaaran Vadoo/heaven. Never ever in my life had I experienced such a nice beach, clear water, all in drinks, lunch, swimming pool, relaxation, etc. 3rd day was sharkfeeding, turtle reef and manta reef with lunch on a local Island. Between the location we spotted several times wild dolphins. Once when we returned we still had to do our watersports activities, which included in the package. Because we had our toddler, we had to take turns on the waterscooter ride. After, we had done the water tube all 3 together. The water tube was a bit wild, so we ended after 5 minutes. But we did enjoy. Next day we had to leave. To be honest I would have enjoyed 2 more days relaxation on the resort Island. But it was just that 3day window that there was no rainfall. Before and after our visit, it was everyday rainy showers forecasted.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, simply because of the AMAZING hospitality of the staff, attention to details in the room and the suberb excursions that they arrange. The management especially Jack and Tarang go out their way to make you feel at home. I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice, cozy hotel with around 17 rooms in all. The people who are working there are more than polite. Everybody is awesome! Food is tasty. The beach is a very short walk distance from hotel same boats. Only one problem can be mosque located very close, so you may be wake up very early before the sunrise. Please take note than the hotel offers rooms with partially sea view (look my pic) what is actually nothing else than island view. The sea view rooms however can also offer only obscured view for the ocean. If you don’t care about the views I can recommend this place.

Location is good even if the island is very small, lighting is EXTREMELY bad VERY LOW, design of toilet not good as the exhaust fan on the room corridors. Wi-Fi is very bad. Staff is good No mineral water, tea and coffee inside the room.

Directly in front of the see our room was with View th the Island. Wi-Fi is poor in the room. In breakfast we found many insects. In general one of the best Guest House in Maafushy. Jack the Manager is friendly and he gave us free cake before leaving so as Maria.

Very nice hotel. Helpful and smiling staff. Food is awesome, taste like heaven. View is too good from thr balcony. They have outdoor seating under the trees as well as on the beach. The island itself is very nice. Breakfast is included and that's nice too. Rooms are good. The only bad thing I face was no exhaust fan in washroom.

Location close to Pier, very convenient, the rooms have a sea view, also in the vicinity there are many shops, service personnel affinity, the overall experience is good, the Wi-Fi is not too stable, providing water and snorkel equipment free to borrow.

Awesome I have stayed there, staff and chef's behaviour was awesome, guest oriented and hardworking, I love the hotel lot, no disturbing experince, only loving moment, will stay there vwry soon.

Hotel people are very kind, restaurant food is also good, breakfast and dinner buffet is relatively weak, hotel activities are quite fun, you can try more, on the island of fun islands activities, if you have not been to the resort people can consider, have been spared.

Location location location! Although maafushi is a small island, but you can't beat the view of the green waters from your bed. The place is close to bikini beach and the harbour, where you'll be going almost every day to catch the boats for sand bank or excursions… Rooms were good and clean.

The price is excellent. It has its own high-speed boat, and it has a beautiful team that provides fun travel with entertainment and underwater photography, as well as unforgettable picnics on uninhabited islands. Recommend. )

I had an exceptionally great experience with Crystal Sands. I was there with a friend, our room was cozy, clean and with a great view from the balcony. Their friendly, accommodating and ever helpful staff is the best thing about this hotel. Its close to public beach, other restaurants and the boats if you want to take excursions. Highly recommend it.

We dine outside the hotel which is along the shore, the candlelit dinner was romantic. Price is reasonable for the ambiance and food. We ordered the grilled lobster and were happy about the taste and serving size which also includes salad, fries, pasta and rice. The lobster was juicy and it was seasoned nicely.

They should change their slogan to "Simply Amazing"! Everything about this place is excellent: room, location, ambience, staff, amenities, price, and the excursions available at a great price. (Lots of people from other hotels booked excursions here because of ease and price. ) It looks just like the pictures. They were so friendly and accommodating. I arrived early and they let me check in because my room was available. When I checked out, I wasn't leaving until 5 pm and they even offered to let me shower again before I left. This place has customer service excellence written all over it, and it definitely is the nicest-looking place on the whole island. I recommend without hesitation. Special thanks to Jack, Maria, and all the other staff who made my vacation unforgettable! ^__^

We did not stay here! We stayed at a chelae Airbnb on the island. However, we are here almost every night. If you're not into the Buffett scene then this is a great option. Reasonable prices and huge selection. I recommend the Thai lemon fish or Indonesian fried rice. They have great shessha too!

Crystal Sands hotel is just amazing! Loved every single minute of our stay here. People working here are so friendly and helpful you couldn't wish for anything better. We booked ocean facing room and it was the best. The view is breathtaking as well.

We have tried the restaurants dishes. Nice romantic atmosphere on the beach, with candle lights. The live music from the nearest restaurant was quite enough to have a comfy talk with my friends. Big portions, I liked Tom Yam soup, but the green mussels had strange taste and the salad in it was like washed in chlorine. I think I won't come here again.

Worst experience ever! Do not book via internet, they don't respect the booking! Wifi was not that good. They can do much better on breakfast, because is poor, no fruit at Breakfast, overpriced for lunch. No soap in the wash room. No exhaustion fan in the toilet. Location is good! The staff was really friendly and caring, and everything negative about the hotel is not under their control.

Excellent resort with all basic amenities. Room and bathroom were both very clean. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. The resort is located right on the beach and the view from our room was simply beautiful. They have also included few vegetarian options in the menu.

We went for dinner there, because our hotel restaurant (Arena Beach Hotel) was so crowded. Seems to be a very nice hotel with very kind staff. Dinner was good and prices reasonable. Next time we are in Maafushi we'll definitely stay here and not in Arena Beach.

Enjoyed my stay here. The staff were courteous — and super helpful. The location is ideal — near the beach, near the ferries, and there are water sports places next door. Bicycles are available — but they were a bit rusty unfortunately.

A very cozy and nice place to stay. The service is extremely good and the rooms are pretty decent. They have rooms with the sea view, though blocked by trees it is still very very beautiful. They help you arrange for many activities so make sure to check with the front desk as you will need to register for any package a day before.

Best customer service ever. Hospitality was felt all the time. All questions got answered even ones not related with hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Greetings to Jack, the manager, and his crew who did excellent job and made our visit most comfortable. This hotel is probably one of the best on island. You must try out the ice cream sold next to hotel entrance, it is way better compared to mövenpick sold in other hotel.

It is in the main area, just in front of where you leave the boats and to the side of the "bikini beach", the rest of the island is worth nothing. The staff is very friendly. They have daily activities that you can engage with them, and are at the same price if you hire it out. The only thing that I don't recommend for price, is to hire them from the airport, there are other companies that offer cheaper. In my case not a hired room with a view of the sea, and almost better, because I really don't see it near the sea by any of the two sides of the building. Otherwise, the room and the restaurant area is very nice. The beds are made of springs and quite uncomfortable, and the buffet is not a big thing. But, in general, very good experience!

For two weeks I visited three Islands, three hotels. This was the most comfortable and cozy. Very good managers. I especially want to mention the restaurant. Here cook very tasty. Would recommend this hotel.

Staffs was very friendly and helpfull. Muhamed organized great tours and helped with transfer. Ali arranged amazing snorkeling trips. Amazing view of the beach from our room. The room was clean and comfortable. Beach towels, sunbeds, snorkeling gears and bicycles provided. Fresh juice and fruit platter for breakfast. We would like to stay here again!

Rating the restaurant "Symphony Lagoon": Good buffet, simple but tasty. Chili chicken, yellow fish curry, rice. Fair price — 15$ for the buffet. Our waiter, a young guy from Sri Lanka, was very very friendly and helpful. Even got a Maldivean chili pepper, because I liked it so much.
