Review of Malahini Kuda Bandos Resort 4*

From the beginning to the end, it was a perfect stay. Rahul from Reservation-Team assignet me a great Villa, thank you so much, loved this room, especially the open bathroom. Javaah, the Housekeeper, did an amazing job. The Villa was clean at any time, once he decorated the bed so lovely. Its not true, that you will have only one big towel, they provided also small ones for the face. AC worked well and the room offered anything a guest need. Inthi checked me in, very professional and kind, gave me all informations to the Resort and his facilities. Also checkout went smooth. Thank you Inthi for the laughters, you are a great person. I got lunch at first day for free, altough the all-inclusive start at 2 pm. Its not true, that you don't get free lunch on arrival day, it only has to be paid if you go to lunch again on the day of departure. The food was outstandig. Three times a day they offer a great buffet, so delicious with a good variety on high level. Akosh and his Team are great people, especially Eni, a waitress. She is so friendly and always found time for little talks. She and the rest of the Restaurant-Team do a great job, as all other staff at Malahini. All, really all staff members are very helpful, polite and hospitable. I can not understand negative reviews about the staff, they are neither racist nor unfriendly, on the contrary. The Island has a great nature and fantastic beaches, some are rocky, you need slippers, but right and left the pier you won't need. There are so many different colours on water, a dream to see. The Reef has many many colorful fishes and sharks (especially in the afternoon). Snorkeling is fantastic there. When its dark, you can see stingrays and Baby-Sharks in the light of the pier, every evening I enjoyed it. On the Island there are many animals to see: Bats, parrots, iguanas, lizzards, chicken and different kind of birds, lovely. I liked the "swinging Bar75" with the Barman Yam, a nice person from Nepal, thank you for the nice conversations. In the evening the Bluu Bar was cozy with some events during my stay. Been there during Christmas. They have put so much effort into the Christmas dinner, small attentions and many activities. It should also be mentioned that the hotel puts a lot of emphasis on the environment. There are no plastic cups and no plastic bottles, no straws, very good. During my stay, the Resort was fully booked and nevertheless always found a free sunbed. They have enough, not true, that you have to ly in the sand:-) If a problem should arise, contact the staff, I am sure they will do everything to make you feel comfortable. The General Manager is always responsive. Thank you again Malahini for making my vacation so perfect.
