It's my 2nd time visit this resort, the room I get still maintain well, except the roof leaking when it's raining. After I complaint the issue, they offer another room, but the room condition is terrible… Old, worn out, shower room's broken glasses & really really small shower water pressure… After some discussion, reception say he will handle the 1st room leaking issue and we will move back in. Problem is… it's not fix, still have leaking issue but doesnt matter, compared to the 2nd room I get. Overall it's a great resort, just need more maintenance. Do take note the buffer meal is not from 5 stars hotel, Tea-Time meal buffet you'll have to act fast, slow hand gets nothing.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER! Dont spend your money on this REDANG HOLIDAY. 1. Worst receptionist. Not friendly and rude. Whenever we ask questions, They answer us rudely. Whenever we ask for their hospitality, they will never help us. 2. We have to take our own blanket and towel by ourselves at the receptionist's counter. WHATT?! 3. Keep on BLACK OUT! 4. The foods, the buffet, always get COLD! For BBQ, they cook it during afternoon around 2pm and they served it on 7pm. For sure it will get cold. And my friend get FOOD POISONING from it. Plus, FLIES everywhere. 5. DIRTY room. DRESSING TABLE full of ants. TOWEL is in bad condition. THE BED is dusty. 6. While snorkeling package, they didnt even taking care of the guets. They didnt even teach snorkeling for the first timer. They ride the boat recklessly. i would never come back here and I will not recommend any one to come here. redang island is a pretty island. But I would definitely say "no" to this redang holiday. worst ever.

The hospitality of this resort is good. Water in room toilet is very dirty. Lights also dim. But the room is okay as in overall. Food served in quite unhealthy way. So many flies. Foods also not that much tasty. The surrounding of the resort is good. The bar nearby is good too. As in overall, they should give more concentration on food and resort maintenance.

The best ever place for recharging! (1) The Beach in front of the Resort is crystal clear, and coral rock free! The very fine sandy beach. (2) The quite place even at night, if you like the happening place, at night you can walk to the others resort to have your favour hour! (3) The water for the bathroom, is quite yellow (sometime), Mr John claim that they using the well water for the bath room. And the government pipe water for the kitchen. (4) The Room a bit sandy, at night a lot mosquitoes, suggest to bring ur own mosquito coil (night I think need 2! before sleep one and after sleep 1), or you can claim at the counter. (5) The swimming pool operation late at night, after the mosquito bite I wake up at 2am looking for the solution, I find out the romantic swimming pool will available! (6) Food, depend to people, the food for me is just nice. Only the ice juice not cold enough.

Nothing so special only the price for the package is good. Rooms is not clean and many sands, the pillow is extremely dirty like those who throw in rubbish dump, dark and disgusting. The tap water are brown in colour, even though the water that serve to drink is the same. The place to having meals are a lot of flies, the food prepare in not appropriate way, very dirty and cause diarrhea. Did not sweep the floor and mop at all. Room is full of mosquitoes. Location is at the most behind of the island, need to walk very far to the crowded area in the island.

Wasted our money. Never expected such a worst room service. No toiletries were provided. Clogged toilet bowl and VERY smelly. Brown water from tap. Very thin and small blanket were provided for queen size bed. Found spiders. Very bad lunch menu and not hygienic at all caused diarrhea. Dont understand the purpose of on and off electricity in the so called standard room. Snorkelling spots were almost the same. Could hv provided satisfactory service at least for the amount of money you charge!

(1) Nice buffet food except for BBQ dinner, the food was so so only. (2) The beach and the water was perfect. Love it the sand compare to other part of Redang. (3) No need snorkeling so far, just at the rock got a lot of beautiful fish and baby shark! (4) But, there are mosquitoes in the room, the management should care more as put mosquito repellent or put a net. Others are great.

Tidak disyorkan. Cafe agak kotor. Bilik sangat banyak nyamuk (seperti tidur dalam hutan). Pemilik kedekut (makluman dari staff) kerana mengambil risiko dengan muatan berlebihan menaiki bot untuk aktiviti snorkling. Makanan biasa-biasa sahaja. Harga agak mahal berbanding perkhidmatan yang diterima. Hanya kerana berkongsi pantai yang cantik dengan resort-resort lain.

With a happy mood to take a holiday with excitement to open the door ushered in is the wall of the cracks can not use dirty and old to describe the toilet of the bed is thinner than your towel, like the room of the sand castle, I said to myself improvise clear, I held the passion for half of my first snorkeling activities, results snorkeling "coach" Take us to the deep sea, and we'll talk about snorkeling for an hour, and then they'll smoke on the boat, talk, go back to the hotel after the snorkeling, eat our lunch and bite the food. My mood does not know how to describe, to the night is our party time! I found that my room came a lot of mosquitoes, sleep at night when a person's head will almost around 7-8 mosquitoes, the next day asked the person in charge when they said you can come to the evening and we take the mosquito coils (I thought why not give us the first day). Summary if you want to experience a soldier tour choose this hotel as a smart choice.

The resort is at a corner with stone cliffs great for view of redang beaxh and sun rise. Over all great stay, good food, good stuff… rooms were a bit on the dirty side and the washroom too…

Hotel for Malays & Indian. Prob one of the most affordable pricing. But not much of the service if you have any complaints make sure you reach out to the Chinese owner and not those foreigner workers as they are lazy. No matter 4, 6, 8 ppl room only comes with 1 bathroom. Only basic shower gel and tower provided but suggest to bring your own as the room is dirty and old. Do not book the 8 ppl room as it seems like it is always vacant thus full of dust and you can tell they did not clean it for ages. Foods really average and minimal. If you have no better choice only go for rooms lesser than 4 pax as larger rooms are usually vacant thus dirty and not cleaned.

Room pictures that provided by resort is only for illustration purpose. Dissapointed with the cleaness of the room, not sure whether they change the bed sheet because I got bitten by bed bugs. 5-8 mins walking distance from resort to the boat for snorkeling. Except for the bar, beautiful and relaxing environment.

Food 10/10 Room 9/10 Things to do during night time 5/10 — need to walk very far to enjoy some entertainment.

No one guide us how to snorkeling for those first time try. Everyday the plan is repeated same, bored. Sufficient good provided, as it refilll non-stop.

Nice resort at end of the beach… rooms are not beach facing. Food is good. Only 3-4 beach chalets at the entrance. They have great packages. Worth it!

Beatiful Pasir Panjang. Redang Holiday Beach Villa is located at end of this beach. It has new double storey hotel room and older hillslope chalet. It also have swimming pool and snorkelling tours available. Food as usual breakfast lunch dinner are served at same cafeteria with sea and beach facing. Not so upscale but within our budget for family and company group.

Nice place to pass your vacation and food was delicious enough but need to go on time to get the Desired food before finish.

4 stars for the affordable price. Food served 4 times a day was excellent but food was average, no complains there. Kudos to john and his team! Absolutely friendly bunch.

Nice place, enjoyable. Service is good. Good helper. The food overall is Malaysian food, just chicken and fish. Don't think that have seafood. The room not so nice, don't expect it look like 3 or 5 star hotel. Hotel need to improve at least standby some towel, brush, hairdryer. Once if really upraged hotel sure always full book. The sea nice very very nice.

I would not recommend this resort at all. The snorkeling tours are too crowed and the staff encourage the guests to feed the fishes with the result that the water is not clear anymore so you have to swim pretty far to have a good view again, food was not good (bad diversity, meat got dry and so on), rooms are in a bad condition and there were no towels provided, no covers for blankets, bath room had a big hole in the roof so we had huge spiders in our room, and then there is the bad service. We gave our stuff to their laundry and got them back really in the last minute before departure at our last day so we couldn't check if it is complete. After we saw that some items are missing the staff was not willing to help us to get them back which is a very bad service in my opinion. There are several other resorts in Redang which should be better so I would recommend one of them because the island is very nice though.

-dirty bed & toilet (saw a cock roach hiding under the desk, ants/bugs walking free on the desk/wall, heard rat screaming and roaming outside of toilet window) -no blanket -air con doesnt work sometimes -no water heater/boiler -no Wi-Fi (even data signal is unbelievably poor inside the room) -extremely bad hygiene canteen (lots of flies flying around the food and the staffs do nothing about it, as if the flies are part of the cuisines, somehow get A grade for hygiene certificate, tourists are also required to walk without shoes, which causes the floor unpleasantly sticky all the time) — foods are overall bad especially bbq (chickens are too solid which indicates that they are over cooked and not fresh as the chicken flavour is gone and texture is full of boring blandness. ) — transport service from beach to resort is Paid RM 35 to watch turtle but there are only 4 turtles that you can observe and touch. The water at the turtle snorkeling site is not so clear and transparent. Bad. They didnt count the amount of passengers and depart immediately. Two of my friend carry their luggages and walk along to the resort. — snorkeling trip are normal only, the equipments are old and extra charge needed, the goggles with power are always out of stock (lack stock), can't see anything if you have myopia.

The older chalet have bad lighting. Not sure about others or the newer ones. Food is exceptional. So don't expect classy food. There was no seafood. The boss/ workers are friendly and helpful. Location on the side of the beach is nice if you want peace but a distance from the drop point or bars.

Was there on 10th to 12 October 2013 … And looking forward to there again in 2017 … Very nice hotel… Food is good. Beach is awesome … Snorkeling is great… Enjoyed stayed there …

Staying here on May 24-26 2016. My reviews Pros -The price is affordable — Friendly staffs Cons -The food aka buffet taste sot sot. Don't expect any high class food. -We live near beach view, the bathroom need renovation because it old. When u flush, you need to flush twice to completely clean off your poops. Water is small. Will take times when bath -The canteen mineral water taste a little bit salty -Snorkeling is fun, but nowadays less interesting fishes compare to the old days. Its just the same fish over and over again. Lack of caring sea environment causes this. -You get what you pay.

Fair. Coz u pay only for the corner beach location. Dnt expect rooms in well maintained condition. But overall if booked earlier this provides the value for money stay.
