Hotel very new and clean. The location perfect with good local food behind. Most impoetant, you also can have awesome photo with many beautiful photo spot. Lastly, the team whose run the hotel fantastic and always respond fast and make you stay perfect. I spend for service and support the team whose means business.

Had a wonderful time staying at Mù Hotel. Breakfast's awesome, spacious room, plenty of instagrammable spots (Check out their amazing green wall & reflective pool outside the cafe area), great for families & super excellent on hospitality. One can expect nothing but only the best. Ask the concierge about secret makan spots. Good to know there's plenty of good makan place within walking distance. Looking forward to staying here whenever we're in town again :)

Recently we had our company annual dinner, all food items was awesome very nice and delicious.

The food is nice n cheap eg: chicken chop (set lunch)
so reasonable price.

Reception and house keeping service was very good. Would really like to commend on the shuttle bus uncle who sent us to the airport on 30th Sept at 2.30pm. Only bad comment to leave is the roof top bar staff were very rude. We had just arrive and wanted a bottle of mineral water. The receptionist told us to head to the roof top bar for it. Upon reaching the bar, the staff showed us a really bad attitude and said we should not be asking from them and we're very unhelpful.

Breakfast was surprising good with local and continental variety.
Free basement parking was convenient.
Modern deco, rooftop bar was a nice touch.
Best of all, the location is central, within walking g distance to most city attractions and great food.

One of the best among hotels we have stayed. The different types of rooms gives you options for family until individual. The food served is fantastically gorgeously cook. Try the sambal for nasi lemak it is really good. The designed of the interior makes the environment so comfortable that we were late for our next destination.

Thanks for the lovely clean room and comfort beds, we went to the roof top and purchase beer and the waiter escort us to open space which we are not a smoker we want to change to indoor but they refuse because it was for smaller group ppl. But yesterday is was not Pack with ppl. Until the rain starts then only they change us to indoor. A bit upset on this matter. Hopefully they can change their way of service customer. The receptionist is okie but except some smile on their face.
My room aircond is not cold feeling a bit hot although already put to the max. Pls improve on this. The water heather is not hot enuff. Just had warm bath. I will come back again.

There’s nice design at the roof top. You can enjoy different views at different timing. The environment is perfect. However, service is rather poor especially at the roof top.

The rooms are clean, bed are comfy and check in was fast and reception staffs very polite. There's a hawker restaurant just behind the hotel. Opens in the evening only good spread of food available.

Room are comfortable, clean and peaceful since not in a busy city area. Also have Chinese food restaurant and mamak restaurant near this hotel. Breakfast menu have many choices and delicious. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff.

This is a good, clean & comfortable hotel at affordavle price. After the hotel was changed from Ibis Style to MU hotel, they manage to maintain the standard pretty well. The location is convenient but not too cluster with groups of tourists. After a year, we came back here again and found out that the buffet breakfast has been improved in term of variety. Of course we do not expect the foods and variety to be fantastic as those more expensive 4-5 star hotels. But I think it's good enough and they add or change menu too. One thing we think the hotel can improve is that the hotel should keep the record of regular guest. We have always stayed here every year for more than 3 years but still need to fill up every detail in the registration form every time.

Free parking available, rooms a bit small but cosy enough. Iron & ironing board available in room.

A bit strange and feeling upset when the waiter at the roof top bar mention that u need to purchase a drink if u want have a seat there.
When informed that I am in house guest she mention it is house rules… so weird coz the hotel dont have a place to hang around…

Updated rooms, clean environment, affordable price, good breakfast especially scrambled eggs, the manager is always looking out for its customers, I could give 5 star but need just a tiny little pity bit more for example the posters, flyer design need to be updated to be parallel with the theme of the hotel & the lobby felt hot frequently, if it did I believe it can easily rival with eastin in kl, kudos anyway MU hotel keep improving.

Came here to attend talk. Very cozy place. Will try stay here next time to give more comments.

MU Hotel is a good 3 Star Hotel which is very clean and affordsble Room service is good and so are the amenities. It offers a good view of the city.

Its clean, in a good area surround by lots of food and it’s Peaceful! Room is basic and spacious. For those that drive there’s a complementary parking spaces at the basement BUT space is limited! First come first serve basis. Enough said! The golden question, will I be back again? That answer would be yes!

A very decent city hotel for short trip. Twin share room is compact but spacious enough for 2 too move around with bumping into each other. Beds are properly made up with pillow and bolster! Front counter staff is polite, efficient and informative. Thumbs up!

Good value for money and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and the room was clean and trendy. Best thing was the room was soundproofed well, didn't hear any noise.

A trendy boutique hotel nicely located in the vicinity of many popular eateries and night bazaars. Most of the places we sought after were a mere few minutes of drive away. In fact the hotel offers free shuttle to these prominent places 4 times daily. The rooms are carpeted and beds are really soft, interesting to find a booster which was so yesteryear but I like it. There's a rooftop bar which overlooks the city skyline, a great place to chillax. Service is very cordial and efficient. Good choice.

We enjoyed our 3d2n stay there. The room is nicely done and clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I would recommend friends to stay at MU if they are visiting Ipoh.

It's a perfect hotel to stay and the rooftop bar is just so perfect with the branded drinks and also the bartender…

Very comfortable hotel, new equipment, reasonable price, good geographical environment. The first time to see the hotel has to provide pillow, super intimate service.

Basically, the rooms are fully equipped. Unfortunately, the hallway carpet is dirty and smells bad. One night the hotel is surrounded by a lot of sex service providers (shemale) Enterprise Street. The hotel has only one floor of parking space.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Spacious toilet and clean too. Breakfast good food but limited varieties. Will return for holiday stay (if offer rate given. :-)

There's a rooftop bar at this hotel. It's a good place if u wish to sit and relax and have some good beers and also the view is awesome.

Room was clean and cozy. Service staff were excellent in handling check in/out and answering queries. Location is near to Gerbang malam and Ipoh parade and the famous Nasi Ganja/kandar.

This hotel is value for money. Room are minimalist designed but not bare. Bed rival 5star hotel comfort. Housekeeping are very prompt. One of the cleanest hotel in Ipoh. Location is strategic. There is a local coffee shop right next to it with many choice of hawker food. 10 mins by car to Ipoh parade and famous Lou Wong chicken rice. Excellent!

Cosy room and affordable. Breakfast buffet offered here is good as compared with other 3 stars hotel offering with eggs station make to order. Location is good.

The MU hotel is well designed with so much of light even in corridors. The hotel location is the centre surrounded with all the amenities. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast has wide range of choice. The price is good for what you paid for. I would recommend to use the hotel if you like staying in the city.

The hotel is modern and in a very good condition. The staff is very friendly. Only the included breakfast, where we expected more compared to other Ibis hotels, leads to the deduction.

Check in Fast, Room clean, breakfast good, good location. The only things, the painting smell still inside the room … very very bad smel. Tissue is only little bit not more then half inside the toilet.

It's a nice hotel, clean, smallish, comfortable, budget, at the city center.

Room is clean and comfortable but quite small. Aircond is top notch. Breakfast is quite good.

The place is great value for money. The hotel is relatively new, so most of the amenities are still very much 'fresh'. The lobby, the lifts are all quite well kept. The walk towards my hotel room — the journey through the walk way is lit up with modern LED lamps, carpet's clean and odor-less. Once in the room, the bed is a queen sized bed and FYI, there's no king size bed available in this hotel, not even in the premium room. If you have a kid coming with you, I'd suggest you request for an additional bed (it comes at a price of RM 70.00 per night and + 1 free breakfast meal). The bathroom is clean and the pressure is just right. The toilet is clean and new but for some reason, it has a slight funky smell. I suspect the exhaust fan is sucking up some 'odor' from the drainage pipe but it doesn't really bother that much but u will know it's 'there'. Overall, the room is good, spacious, clean, bedsheets are very clean — not dusty, smells good and pillows are fluffy — just right. Breakfast meals are served with variety of dishes — from some local dishes to western servings. Omelette tastes great, the local 'kway teow' soup is really quite good and the chicken porridge tastes good as well. Most importantly is — the staff greets you with a smile and serves you well. The Chef was there on the 2nd day, greeted me and actually asked my opinion on the food served.

Nice new hotel with a modern design and good location. Rooms and beds are super comfy and the breakfast was good as well. Only downside was that the housekeepers didn't get to our room until 5:00 pm each day we were there. While we didn't need new towels or anything, this is a bit late to be cleaning rooms. Try the bar on the roof for a great view and the hillview cafe next-door for good eats and dinner.

Staying at the ibis last weekend was an extraordinary experiance the apsolute value for money. the stuff most helpfull and polite, the room very nice and very clean, room service excellent I give a 9+ Will be back soon.

Everything you expect in an acceptable hotel is here. Clean rooms, regular checkups and phone lines directly to wherever you wish to call. So if youre looking for a hotel with the basics covered look no further. Distinctions of the stay includes the complimentary breakfast each morning (if you wake early enough! ), complimentary Wi-Fi of decent speed, and very modern artisitc architecture. Any concerns I had would be the room size, which some may find a little small, however I did not find it to be bothersome enough to affect my stay. Make sure to checkout the bar on the rooftop, the view is quite spectacular.
