Basement parking no light. Too dark.
no staff at entrance door. I'm not take any lunch and too hungry. I decide to having lunch at coffee house. Reached the restaurant, no one welcoming us & staff and manager chit chat & laugh. No one bother us. I said to the malay lady, "no booking and 2 person". Staff like not understand what I'm talking about huhu… guess what? I find our own table! staff just watched us from the hostess counter. N the lady bring us menu & watch my eyes like she want to eat me. Service bad… and disappointed.

The hotel is kind of old n not properly maintained overall. However some of the hotel staff (housekeeping) are friendly n ever ready to clean up to make our stay more comfortable.

Im a wedding planner. Just doing my job end february. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Room chrge are not so high and can consider good service.

Room is spacious but requires renovation as it is a little old. However, bed is very comfortable. Food is good for breakfast.

Overall everything was okay. I always came back to this hotel whenever I came to Ipoh. Great selection of breakfast. Great service by the hotel staffs from the reception counter to the bellboy. Friendly staffs. My first choice of hotel in Ipoh.

Overall it was great except for the condition of the room n bathrom. Doesn't matched the reputation. Foods serves during breakfast was bad. Regretted taking room with breakfaat. Varieties of good yes but taste and freshness desperate need to improve. Good luck. Not coming again.

We were given a spacious room with nice view upon request and also a complimentary birthday cake for my hubby since today is his birthday. Tq Impiana.

Staffs are helpful and polite. Variety of food, with very nice Malay menu to enjoy (and sambal belacan is superb). I enjoy my 3d 2n stay here.

The food isn't worth the money. Raw n smelly chicken. Took ayam panggang but the it is raw. I took nasi ayam, n the ayam is raw too. Took grilled lamb, it has strong mutton smell. Overall, your food suck. I only like your cucur. Please do something to improve. My rate, 0.5 out of 5. Sorry.

I stayed here by chances and not expecting anything after reading the comments but to my surprise everything turn out well. Your food are tasty except some a bit salty. The spread are varieties. The staff are courteous & helpful. The rooms are clean & I love the new big fluffy towel is more then expected. Even though your hotel is old but its clean & tidy with the full complimentary. We enjoy our short stay here.
Infact you all go beyond expected with the complimentary cards & fruits.

He room size is good but the furniture are old and need replacement. The staffs are friendly and efficient. Here isn't anything within 1 km radius.

Rooms a bit old looking but the foods are good. I enjoy the buffet everyday. The staffs really friendly and helps a lot. The aircond not cold enough but I like it like that. If you want the room cooler you can adjust using button at the table beside the bed. Iron and iron board already provided for each room.

Services are good. Staff are friendly. However during our stay, the centralized AC doesn't seems to be cool enough. It's so warm that I don't even need to use the blanket to sleep at night. The shower curtain need cleaning and furniture need some refurbishment. Room looks dated too.

As expected from a 4 star hotel. Great service. The staff were so friendly. They'll greet and assist you anytime. The breakfast was also good. Great places to stay if you're visiting Ipoh.

Nice room. Located at the less crowdy area of Ipoh. Room not bad but refurbishment is in due. Breakfast spread is okay. Swimming pool is good. Great for kids.

Rooms are quite large space, but pillows and beds do taste, making people feel not big hygiene. The color of the sheets is very old and the feeling is not clean, it should be changed new! Pillows, too. And the difficulty of the door should also be upgrade!

An old hotel, water pressure low. Food is delicious especially mee goreng mamak and roti canai. Pool is newly renovated.

Had supper for a pre wedding event. Service could be improved. Maybe they were running high volumes for dinner that nite.

Offer Ramadhan buffet for rm78 — citarasa kampung, surau for terawih available. 6.30pm to 10pm.

For me, this hotel is suitable for an official occasion. Like for company meeting, wedding or else. They have underground carpark that I think it is a safety.

21 April 2018. Was having family dinner in your coffee house. Food was suck. Not worth for the money. Very very disappointed. The butter rice was hard and dry. Pasembur (cucur) was salty. BBQ (beef and squid) are uncooked. Beef Wellington uncooked too. Otak otak was not well cook either. Freed noodle was very salty. Staff at bbq section (girl with glasses) her face was not happy and not approachable. Very unwelcome faces that she made. Chef and kitchen staffs are not well train. Such a ashamed and not worth to spend my money! Overall staff in coffee house are ok. Staffs at bbq section are not well train to serve the customers. Food are suck and horrible. I can have a way better meal at the local night market. Please improve!

Buffet dinner is great and service is good.

We had a bad dinner experience at the Coffee House, Impiana Hotel in Ipoh on Subday 18/3/2018. I ordered a simple beef club sandwich and fries. It came after 30 minutes with tapioca chips. I insisted for the fries and it came after more than 10min wait without any ketchup. The ketchup came after another 10min. We were the only ones sitting down for a meal in there. If the management is not interested to serve food then they should just tell the walk in customers that the coffee house is only open for breakfast.

The rooms are really old. Needs some dire refurbishment. Lobby is quite decent though. Must have been recently refurbished.

Average. Stayed at the standard deluxe room. Seriouly need to change the carpeting. The light switches need fixing. But the swimming pool is nice. Changing rooms were clean.

They arranged for their staff to send me to the nearest clinic/hospital using their hotel van in the middle of the night when I was completely unwell and the staff waited until I was done at the doctors to fetch me back to the hotel for me to rest. Apart from that, every entry and exit of the hotel would give you a warm presence with greetings and appreciation from the hotel staff of your presence there with them.

Its a great place for family staying and deserve more reputation because the service is 5/5. Its already capture my heart for the service.

Old filthy dirty hotel. Do not trust the hotel marketing photo posted. White stains on bed head board, look like sperm stains. Told the cleaner. She told me is mold! She can't clean it. It will keep coming back. Cups and glasses are dirty and old I don't mind old hotel but I cannot take it if it is dirty. Only 2 towels given and a floor mat. It look off white rag. Dare not use. Old bed sheet. Firm bed. Kettle and hair dryer not working TV was on when we enter room. But no remote to off it. Have to ask for it from house keeping Air always has a insecticides smell. 70% of the room face or near the main road. Window not noise insulated enough from noise. There is speed straps on the road. Whole day and night keep hearing road noise and strips make it sound like construction going on. Astroview mag and TV channel list of 21 international channel, in reality only 6. Dont know why bother to put it in room? Patchy carpet. Good things are staff polite. Big hotel concierge service. Big room. Strong aircon.

Satisfactory double bedroom. Kinda have a vintage look on it. Everything works quite well. 4/5.

I stay at room 809, I felt comfortable & Everything was okay. I like the breakfast provided on saturday morning especially meat grill. Anyway, thank you impiana for made my day. I will come again soon.

The room had a few issues. The electrical wiring for the lighting made the lights flicker, they did not provide bath mats which made the bathroom wet, they only gave a very small amount of coffee, sugar and creamer which was not even enough for a single cup, the front desk lady was rude when I told her for more coffee, sugar and creamer, the fridge did not work at first, the aircond took forever to get cold, and there's no basement parking, only parking bays by the road and only very few bays. The reason why I gave this place 3 stars and not lower is because we got the room for cheap.

Never lived in such a poor hotel, what four-star hotel, even those cheap hotels are not as good. There's no parking. There are no towels. From check in the towel and ask many times he said he would send it in the next class. But when it came to check out, it wasn't delivered. The room was dirty, the pillow had a heavy taste, and the sheets and pillow bags were not changed. This is the first and last time I have lived here. I don't understand why such a hotel can still survive.

Its ok. Food wise not so tasty for one of the event held there. Atmosphere ok.

This hotel need refurbishmen since outdated fitting and fixtures and some troubleness like clogging, mulfunction plug etc… need to change room for that. The food is great. Such a recommended.

A bit on the old side, still luxurious on the outside, but old and old fashioned on the inside. Staff friendly but makes you think about the Addams family movies.

I love it but the only thing is there do not Include breakfast but there do have many facilities like the outdoor swimming pool.

Room condition very old and some lights are not working. Sofa and seats are stained. Bath towels were faded and torn. Poorly run down condition. I booked a room with king size but got a room with 2 twin beds put together. Very disappiinted and will not stay there again.

Not so good experience staying a night in this hotel. Like many says, the cleanliness is very bad. The carpets and chairs are stained and dusty. My family slept there a night and we had a hard time sleeping well as we itch all over probably due to dusty. Carpark is mainly limited outside in the open air. If no parking, have to park at the basement at the UMNO building which is quite dodgy, dirty, and lack of security especially dangerous if a lady guest is alone parking there.

Smooth checked-in and friendly staffs. The room was spacious but very smelly. Need a lot of refurbishment. Very old hotel in Ipoh.

The services is good. What I like the most is their food. Their breakfast foods are very delicious and have many varieties.

What I am rating here is the F&B area of Impiana Hotel. I find the ambience here very satisfying and comfortable to dine. A place where I can relax and spend quality hours with friends, chatting away and at the same time tasting the delicious food being prepared by the kitchen staff of the hotel.
Most of all the staffs there are friendly, dilligently doing their duties serving the customers, non stop.
Jasri Osman does his duty well, a friendly guy, who knows how to delicate work to his staff, and that is the reason why the F&B area is condusive enough to make customers satisfied.
Afig one of the staff there too does his job efficiently. He deserved to be praised.
With a good and efficient manager and also staffs, how not to go there again to enjoy the food and ambience.
I will definetely frequent here with friends again.

I would rate service of the hotel as 4 per 10. The room was only ready at 5.30 pm despite of early booking. And the coffee house service was poor. The toilet door cannot be closed. The door was larger than the frame. And many. Its an old hotel.

Please do not acknowledge your hotel as 4 stars and reduce the rates for the room to a budget hotel rate if you didnt care to upgrade the maintenance of the room to a 4 stars standard. Check room 815 faucet at the sink loosen. The shower curtain has an ugly dirty stain!

I just got called from the hotel and u know what? they said they've checked my room before I check in. Tv's screen has cracked. Its totally not my fault. Seems like they want to blame me for it. The moment I enter that room, its already cracked. Very poor and very bad. My second time and last.

The accommodation pretty less modern updated. Breakfast standards might vary in days.

I had a very pleasant stay. Check in was welcoming. Greeter at the door helped with parking. Free Apple at check in. Room was nice. Old hotel don't expect modern fancy amenities. Even the door lock was not one of those card systems but key lock. I got it cheap online and I was very happy with my stay. Will definitely come again if I'm down in ipoh. Bath was great.

The rate is far of the actual standard of the hotel. Poor guest service. Call for laundry but didnt pick up until I've checked out. Rooms are small, but the ammenities weren't so bad. Just that the water pressure was too low. Need total upgrading from services to ammenities.

Rm350 room cant even supply newspaper. Not recommended n will not stay again. French hotel much better. Breakfast poor. The staff dont understand simple english. Spread poor. A bit better than sri malaysia.

Need to upgrade all system. Change your key to card system, bathroom very small, aircond not cold, lighting very bad, lobby very hot.

Very poor hotel, swimming pool very old, the price is better than Kuala Lumpur or expensive, nothing like a four-star hotel.
