Good: Clean, cozy, AC is good enough.
Bad: Too many 🦟 mosquitoes, killed like 5-6 mosquitoes in the cube/tube itself, woke up in the middle of the night, the bathroom was filled with even more. Advised owner to check for any possible breeding ground. KKM might take action on the premise owner.

Overall bad stay and wouldn’t recommend anyone to sleep overnight here. It’s very hard to move around and being as clean as there is no shoeless area. Not really a muslim friendly place. Toilet facilities are nice but overshadowed by overall stay.

A budget capsule hostel perfectly placed in the middle of Georgetown walking distance to alot of tourist spots and restaurants. The place is clean and the lockers are huge. Can't complain much especially with the price point. Perfect for solo travellers.

Like most reviews mentioned, the check-in procedure was tedious, inconvenient that the check-in location is through the back door at the back alley, there's a sus smell in the toilet, there's also no toilet paper in the cubicle, it was noisy to open and close the sliding door (I'm sure all my neighbours heard me so I gave up closing the door at some point LOL)
But there were also some pros like the spacious locker provided, towel, soap and shampoo provided, comfortable bedding, customisable lighting in capsule with great ambience! Entire compound including toilet is pretty clean.
I think for the price, the quality of stay is worth it if you can overlook the cons :) I'll book this place again honestly.

I stayed here temporarily for two nights. This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel and it was not as bad as I expected. The people here were very orderly and very quiet at night. The toilets and corridors were also kept very clean. Finally, I would suggest the owner to put air freshener in the corridors and toilets because there was a very bad smell in the corridors.

The customer service was very responsive and provided the instructions for check in. While self check in and check out provides much convenience but personally still prefer those with counter service which could help with luggage storage before and after check out.
The bed was decent slightly above average as it has a faint smell if you're sensitive.
Like the privacy but the cabin door doesn't open/close well. Must have disturbed my roommates so much I decided to check out earlier.
The room was freezing cold even though I switched off the fan in the cabin and wore layers with a hoodie I woke up shivering.
The entrance and exit was at the back alley. Although the door was well lit at night, the surroundings were pitch back. Wouldn't have booked this property if this was made known earlier.
The complimentary locker was a decent size with towels and basic amenities were provided.
As most travellers had pointed out there isn't any soap in the sink area, toilet paper is available near the sink, and the toilet has slipper stains. Cleanliness at the bathroom area is definitely below average.
Wouldn't book this property in future.

I had a wonderful stay at Resthub Capsule Hotel! The capsules were clean, comfortable, and provided just the right amount of privacy. The location is super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Great location for exploring George Town on foot! The pods are super comfortable and offer a lot of privacy and quiet, even though it’s a large dorm. The bathrooms are okay, but since the toilet and shower are in the same space, the floors are often wet. Also, there’s no toilet paper in the stalls, so you need to bring your own each time – not a big issue, just a bit inconvenient. It would also be great to have some hand soap at the sinks. Self check-in and check-out were smooth and easy 👍🏼

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to sleep, this capsule hotel is a great option. The capsules are clean, comfortable, and earplugs are provided, which helps with noise since you can hear everything around you. However, it may not be ideal for female Muslim travelers, as the sleeping area is mixed-gender (though each guest has a private capsule). If that’s not an issue for you, it’s a good, affordable stay for a short trip or transit stop.

One of the best capsule hotel I ever stayed. The customer service explained everything to us patiently. Very easy way to check in on our owns multiple charger port, they provided one power plug, usbc and usb port. They don’t have any staff on ground, but they have cleaners in the afternoon, they are very helpful as well.

Clean and tidy. Excellent service, value for money. Towel, toothbrush and tooth paste are provided. There’re a lot of cafe nearby. I enjoy my stay there. Although I can hear my neighbour snorting and talking, but they provide us ear plug as well. Very considerate. Highly recommended.

I visited a few capsule hotels before and I would say this is one of my best stay. Self service check in was smooth and easy. The capsules are spacious and the shared bathrooms are also really clean. Walking distance to many local eateries and shopping malls. Exceeded my expectations for the price I paid.

Conveniently and strategically located in the bustling town of Penang, close to good food and cafes. Check in process was extremely smooth despite having no staffs running the place, instructions given were very clear and simple. Everything is newly renovated and the capsule was comfortable for a solo traveler. Highly recommend!

This is my first time here. It’s cheap… I never expected that everything is clean! The rest hub is new, with a perfect and clean toilet and the best hairdryer. The building has historical charm, and you can see the owner is trying to preserve its antique features. The owner is kind and maintains high hygiene standards. Safe for my baby, and he was very happy. The lockers are a great addition. Thank you, Rest Hub, for providing me with a wonderful time to rest.
