I saw a good review from Agoda & try to stay at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall it’s great!
Not looks like a hotel from outside (this place is above Oh my Bingsu Cafe) but still comfy inside.
I have booked Deluxe Double Queen and get this spacious room, comfy bed, aircon & fan, clean bathroom and water heater works well.
And don’t forget to bring your own bottle! Because there is unlimited water dispenser 🤪

First of all, this hotel is quite difficultly to find. Because it don’t have any sign that show us obviously. However, the room and location are great but my room is on the second floor so I have to climb the stairs. Service is ok. I hang the cleaned up card in front of the door but there was no one clean up my room so I called to the receptionist and she was friendly.

Stay for 2 night in here. The room is clean and the staff is very friendly. I ask the staff about recomended place to go and food place and she give me a list the place I should go. Its was superb. Gonna come again if I visit to Penang.

The first time I stayed at the Renion Residence Hotel, I could feel the hotel vibe and comfort here. The facilities that were already available were very complete in the room, making it easy for us to stay here; the staff were very friendly and helped us a lot here. The tourist center here is also very close; everything is just a walking distance. I will come back here again and will recommend it to my other friends when they come to Penang.

Such a wonderful exprience for my family of four. The price is just nice compare to other other for four person stay! Totally worth every single penny. Just know that the security is good due to can only be access by tag they provided with the room key. Even thou the check-in/check out is at a different hotel it's just right across the street! Will come to this hotel again for our next trip! 💯

We feel cheated by this place. On Agoda it had ravishing reviews but the room was nothing like it. Agoda even reserved actual pictures of the hotel till after booking is paid.
The front desk person didn't explain properly and couldn't understand what I was saying cause he was a foreign national. The room doesn't have a key card holding, but someone had already gone in to switch on the fan and lights. The room was dusty and the bed sure had mites, we were itching all night. Safety is absolutely poor, only a glass door with a tag in system and no security guard the least. Key collection and check out has to be made at a separate hotel fyi. Parking is in front of a cafe which would require you to move your car when they open. All in all, don't stay here and please don't trust Agoda blindly.

Personally, I didn’t like their rooms. When I arrived, I couldn’t find the reception as there were no signs or boards to identify the hotel. Since I’m unfamiliar with the area, I can’t comment on the exact location, but in terms of accessibility, it seemed quite far from major tourist attractions. However, the staff was friendly and well-behaved.

My stay at Manhattan Residence in Penang was absolutely incredible! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the top-notch service. It truly felt like a home away from home. I saw some bad reviews about this hotel, but I think there's nothing to worry about because I asked the reception regarding "that issue. " It's already handled by the police, and yeah, I think it's safe, and it's a pretty nice hotel, by the way. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from street art. Overall, my stay at Manhattan Residence was perfect. The attention to detail and excellent customer service. I felt truly pampered the entire time!

We had a great stay here. It was rly good value and pretty clean and location is great!

Room is ok, but the worst part is that the Wi-Fi connection is terrible.
If you need to use Wi-Fi, find another hotel not this one.

When we arrived I was very disappointed as the room looked completely different from the warm atmosphere displayed on the websites, which was the very reason we chose the place. If we’d stayed in that room the rating I’m giving would be very different.
We spoke with the staff and they agreed to move us to one of the rooms pictured online and it truly is lovely! We were very grateful for their willingness to move us. However, do manage your expectations if looking to stay here. Some of the rooms are exactly as pictured but some are a lot more basic and feel very different. I believe the higher grade rooms are the ones pictured but the simpler ones are not on the website and therefore it’s presumed they are all similar but they aren’t. So do be aware.

Located near almost every attractions in penang Island. The room is cleaned and comfy. There's a bingsu place on the first floor too.

Fyi no lift have to walk up is a shop house kind of stay.
Near to all food and street place.
Carpark limited only 3 lot.
Isit get summons Becareful.
Bad is 2nd night water pump spoil 4hrs no water.

Rooms are clean.
Near seaside and attractions.

It's a bit problem to find a parking if you driving but the rest is very good.

Rooms is nice but the soundproof is bad next door boiling water also can hear clearly.

Having great experience staying. Even one night. Will come back. Perfect. ❤️
