Review of Senator Hotel 2*

Well I booked a 24 hrs bungalow suite with jacuzzi as they describe it. It was nice and tidy. It was in mid july with my wife. However, the room has maintenance issues (like shower is a bit broken, Tv units with 1 or 2 channels …) Second, questioning the lack of hygiene: as you see all these fancy good looking couches and beach beds in the pics, they haven't been washed or maintained since the photos were taken. Too dirty for a hotel/motel/ chalets whatever you wanna call it. The pool also was dirty. Our whiskey glasses from the night and our coffee mugs were still at the pool until we left (come ooooonnnn what the hell your waiters and your cleaning staff doing? Btw they are foreigners eh? ) Third, it was supposed to be a place for couples as they were advertising it (starting 50$ per couple per night with pool access) and it was supposed to be a calm swim at night and I thought it was just for couples staying at the bungalows. Until a bunch of weirdos came at the pool at 4:00 in the morning yelling and shouting all over the place. They were staying in the apartments next to the bungalows as I saw them out of their windows shouting for their friends who were jumping from the second story of the building splashing into the pool. Until almost 6:00 am and no one from the staff said a word to them. But come on they were nice and asked me if they have woken me up at 4 am (wa3aynek mahek? Ma twekhezna) not to mention that the hotel/motel… policy doesn't allow jumping from the second story of the building… As for my wife and i, won't spend a penny in a place like that anymore.
