Beware of theft 500$ american went missing from "safe" staff not helpful at all.
The stay was ok for the most part. Although on the 2nd day I returned from walking around enjoying the town to find my safe was not working with the code I had programmed into it. It was very strange as I had never had this happen before. The staff came by and opened it whilst I was in the room, so no problem I thought. Except when I arrived in Vang Vieng and wanted to go exchange 500$ in american bills I had, I found they were not in my wallet which had been in the safe the whole time. I called and sent emails to try and recover my money and they seemed to be only trying to cover themselves rather than help me with my problem. So for the last few days I have being trying to explain it to them to no avail. They say the only time someone was in the safe was when they came up to the room with us in it. Then why would I not be able to open it with the code I programmed in the first place? This had been the 2nd time I had stayed here and I was always very polite to the staff and them to myself as well, that is what makes this situation so frustrating because it seems they can smile to your face while stealing when your back is turned.

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Great staff, speak good english, breakfast buffet was delicious. It was a family trip with kids and we got an early flight to catch, the hotel manager Mr Phone help arrange everything and even allow us to have breakfast earlier before our departure to the airport. Amazing hospitality. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this place. Pool is significantly smaller than picture appears, but I don't swim so it's not a big deal. Professional staff. At least one or two individuals per shift is proficient in english. Very accommodating and clean place. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Definitely would go back.

WOW! I could not have had a better last day and night for my 3 month trip through Asia with my best friend. I booked this hotel and didn’t expect the overwhelming kindness that the employees showed us. Phone and Alex immediately made us feel at home and made sure all of our needs were met. They brought my best friend fruit for her birthday, made sure we got transit to the airport and the city, accommodated our veganism at every meal, and of course made sure we were comfortable and happy. They took hospitality to the next level. Alex even brought me cold water while I was working out at the fitness center. The green curry we had at their cafe was one of my favorite meals in al of Laos. I highly recommend this place. I hope to come back!

I had the perfect stay at S Park! The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to the airport. The rooms, the pool, and the gym were all amazing. Breakfast was large and delicious, as was the food in the restaurant. Especially the green curry — yum! Also, they were extremely accommodating to our vegan and vegetarian needs. The staff at S Park went above and beyond to make my friend and me feel welcomed and comfortable. They made sure we had the right room on a quiet floor, made us early breakfast to go because we had early flights, and even brought fruit to our room for my birthday! Phonposit, Alex, and the whole staff at S Park are so kind, hospitable, and helpful. You can tell they’re passionate about their work and care a lot about their guests’ needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Vientiane, not just for those that are flying out the next day. Wish I could stay here forever!

Love the quirkiness of it. Bed and bathroom is perfect. Except bathroom floor Very slippery when wet! Nearly slip and fell!

Really enjoyed this hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms and truly excellent service, the caliber of which you can only find in very high end hotels. They have a driver who will take you in to town for $6. There’s also plenty of other transit. There is a night club in the basement that has loud music on the weekends, which is annoying. Went to check it out, and it may be the most happening, swanky spot in all of Vientiane. Worth checking out just for people watching.

Wow I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff especially Alex were so nice. I got a mosquito bite that got infected. The manager gave us a courtesy car and the terrific Alex to bring me to the hospital wait with me and bring me back. They were so lovely. The rooms pool and bar are great. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Fab place, pool and in nice location, ok so a bit of a walk to centre of town but good to take in the atmosphere. For me it was quiet with little noise from the club in the basement.

Booked this just for a night before I head to Beijing. Had I known that a kareoke club was located straight beneath the hotel, I would have booked elsewhere. Seriously, I’ve been to party hostels quieter than this place.

Fantastic hotel. A beautiful building with amazing staff that are always to help. The facilities are more than enough for your needs and the staff speak very good English. Especially Mr. Alex who always made sure we were comfortable and gave us some really good tips for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Great newer hotel with pool and 12 floors. The service and staff at hotel is very high, very good. They have free bicycles at disposal, very useful for sunset along night market. The hotel is 10 mins bike from this. Pool, gym and breakfast is great!

This was my second time staying at S Park Design in Vientiane. I was impressed the first time as the hotel is very clean, the food delicious and the service excellent, but my opinion still managed to go way up with this second stay. When I booked I had been in a hurry and forgot to book the room I wanted, very quiet with a view out over a greenspace in a sleepy part of the city. The hotel was fully booked but the staff were still able to move me to my desired type of room the next morning. I was a bit cranky I’d overlooked this myself and, Executive Assistant Manager Alex, customer service officer must have been aware because he came to check that everything was ok. In our conversation I told him I had no plans for that day and he mentioned that some of the staff, manager and owner supported a school an hour away for the disadvantaged and asked if I’d be interested to come visit since the schoolchildren would love to meet an English-speaking foreigner, this is apparently a rare opportunity for them. The hotel car took me to the school in the country along with Alex and Miss Tanoi, a university student, who are both volunteer teachers. We traveled along a country road lined by buffalo, cows, chickens, dogs and beautiful countryside. The school was extremely simple, as you’d expect, with just bare necessities. The children and their teachers were so happy and friendly. They practiced their English, made jokes, hugged me and took pictures.

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly English speaking staff. Breakfast is OK. There is a clean, small pool. Gym with treadmill, exercise bike and Elpsom. The only drawback, far to the center, on a tuk-tuke expensive to get.

Very good hotel nice and clean. Good breakfast. Good Wi-Fi. The best part is The Musso best live band club in town. I will come back again. Recommended.

Spacious, clean rooms with good bathroom. The hotel has a lift, a swimming pool and a gym. The breakfast menu includes both Western breakfast and noodle soups and local hot products such as meat and rice. A bit far from the centre, about 2 km, but quiet. Bicycles are offered free of charge, but scooters are not available. The shuttle service to the airport is quite expensive (5 dollars for 5 min drive), but mostly there are tuk Tuks in front of the hotel (1-2 dollars).

Really nice hotel, exceptionally friendly staff. My room was excellent except the bathroom had a weird smell and shower really needed a shower curtain or something (water everywhere! ). Great views, free breakfast, gym (for a hotel) and pool. I definitely would stay again.

As expected excellent service again :) been here more than 1 year and a half before for business too — with most pleasure again a very welcoming relaxing environment and keeping in touch with Laos forever :) Phonepasith san, khawp jai lai lai! Fred from Japan btw the photos are from yesterday at the historical site with the huge jars and Vietnam war bomb craters near Phongsavan up north. That is a 8-10 hours 4wheel drive via Pakxan from Vientiane. We happened to be there so we didn't want to miss it. Very impressive. And the locals take the visit as an opportunity to put their best traditional costums on, especially the beautiful girls ;)

Slightly out of the centre this is an excellent hotel. The room is very clean and comfortable with air-conditioning. Swimming pool. The service is superb nothing is to much trouble. They organized our tour's which were first class and value for money. Breakfast buffet has a lot of choice they go the extra mile to make your holiday complete.

Not close to down town (1km) but the price is really good and close to airport (2km) And also it has it's restaurant the name Musso, Real hot place and foods are good.

Great hotel for the price. Rooms are unique and very clean. Staff was also very helpful. They have a restaurant/bar below the hotel for a little nightlife experience. Only down side its always a taxi drive if you want to go somewhere which adds up if you do a few trips. Perfect place if you want to relax before going to the airport.

We started our stay in Vietiane after traveling for 5 weeks in Asia. We arrived late in the day, but the hotel manager, Paul, quickly responded to my email enquiry and a driver was waiting at the airport — always a welcome sign. The hotel has a fun industrial vibe with pipe fitting light fixtures, international clocks of pipe flanges, and a Mercedes front end reception desk. Rooms were pristine & comfortable. We only tried pool one afternoon, but it was great. Breakfast included custom omelette, and we enjoyed fresh-blended pineapple juice in the afternoon gratis. Going rate in Vietiane is 30, 000 Kip for a tuk Tuk ride — they are tough negotiators. We chose to let Hotel call a car for 50 — much easier for us and dependable. Paul helped us book a 7 hour sight seeing marathon on our final day — perfect for us since we were able to pick and choose stops and had a very comfortable car — $60 which is in line with Bali and our other stops in Asia. Again — the whole S Park Design staff made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely return!

We arrived at the S Park Hotel after checking in & immediately cancelling our previous hotel. It had been a long day and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating (excuse the pun) There are a lot of good things to recommend this hotel — but it's the human element that they have 100% correct. … The staff are all very helpful without being obsequious, knowledgeable without being superior, and flexible in order to meet your needs. In other words, normal good service. I could rave on about the upgrade to the top floor, the view of the Mekong River, the convenient location without the noise, the nice pool, the yummy breakfast, but apart from the excellent staff, you remember the original, creative design. There is a mixture of industrial chic with retro stained glass. For example, the front desk is the front end of a 1960s Mercedes-Benz.

Cool hotel, great swimming pool and gym next to it. Quirky decor. Bar downstairs is cool as well. Manager called Phonepasith was really friendly and helpful.

I liked the design of the place, but the location was terrible. A scooter will be necessary, but they don't rent them at the hotel (and the front desk can't recommend a good rental shop, either). Front desk staff were nice but generally confused, and the bathroom sink or drain smelled like fish sauce for two days.

First thing you will notice is the kind helpful staff and a contemporary while industrial styled decor. A very nice pool and gym are very nice additions. but then you will notice the location, though a very small city/town, far enough away from center I need to rent a motor bike. It's not like it's a busy or loud city that you looking to get away from. a great hotel but there are far too many places way more convenient. Else I would have given a 5 star rating, it's really a nice hotel just a rather inconvenient location.

Just outside town but stil in walking distance from the city centre. What a design, just loved it! Very comfortable beds, good shower, very good breakfast, good Wi-Fi but above all : Very helpful manager! Very good staff, friendly, speak very well English. Good management! Congratulations!

Simply amazing. The rooms are large and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and helpful — there was always someone at the front desk that spoke good English. Definitely lives up to its name as a design hotel! Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Staff super nice. Everything clean. USD$2 for transfer to airport! USD$7 for pickup from airport (up to 4pax). Wi-Fi reviews are accurate. Very bad service. I hate logging in 12 times a day. Slow speed as well. Better at local restaurants. For my room 508, AC was set on lowest level but never achieved that. Positive: super surprised to see HBO and FOX in English.
