Good service, clean and good location.

Near​ Kong riverside &, night​ market.

Good hotel near the Mekong. Large and well equipped rooms. Location in a very tourist area on the edge of the city centre of Vientiane. There are some comparable hotels and many street restaurants as well as bars/clubs, so the nightlife can be heard in the rooms. For travelers with light sleep may not be ideal.

Clean and spacious room, really friendly staff, most importantly very near to Mekong river and other tourist attractions. Every night there is night market at the Mekong River. You can buy Lao souvenir and Lao silk there at very cheap price. I love this place.

Well situated hotel styled in an oriental theme. Effortless checkin and checkout, albeit a few mistakes, made over the deposit, made by the head receptionist. The maid service kept the Hotel clean, with special areas to the impressive wood entrance and open air bar. We only eat breakfasts which were buffet style and well stocked. … Rooms were well appointed, well supplied and the shower pressure was great (no bath). Beds were firm and bedding clean. Our room had a veranda with great views over the river and temple — the weather holes were no trouble and the air conditioning was more than sufficient. Every evening fresh fruit would appear in the room — a nice touch. Wi-Fi was consistently tolerable and free (except for a few hours on one day) and we suffered no power cuts — handy that each room included complimentary torches (just in cases). The test is always, would we return — more than likely we would.

Hotel is fine but amenities are limited and as per most Vientiane Hotels it is very much over priced.

There is a restaurant on the first floor that serves great fried noodles. Not expensive at all.

This Hotel is near night market mekong river and convenience to travel. It have mobile signal from thailand. Price is normal rate.

Clean room and comfortable mattress, allowing u to sleep safe and sound. And the staff are all very nice and good-looking, always there helping u with everything. The breakfast is not as good as they claimed but all in all pretty satisfied and will definitely choose this hotel on my next trip to Laos.

The Lao Orchid Hotel was an excellent experience for our Vientiane/ Laos Trip. Location in the centre, with view on the mekong, very friendly staff, smart and clean room and a delicious, rich and miscellaneous breakfast (european, asian). Best balance beetween price and performance. Thank you.
