Clean, modern and comfortable with great balconies, large rooms with comfortable bed, good internet and shower. Very friendly staff and great location. Highly recommended.

Accomodating and helpful staff (24-hour front desk). Rooms are spacious and clean. It's a 4-floor apartment but doesn't have an elevator.

Cheap place to stay, with loads of nearby resto and near the mekong river.

Its clean staff are friendly… ive stayed 3 times and meet loads of good people staying there.

The hotel is very central, city and river are within walking distance. The room is very small, had not even a window (like a bunker), and the bathroom is with about 2, 5qm tiny. Cleanliness was OK. Wi-Fi is slow but stable. The reception is not very friendly.

Not great but good value for the price, the staff spoke basic English, was friendly and trying to keep everything clean all the time. We stayed in a double room with fan, which was pretty small, but ok for us. The location is also very good, it's just few steps from the mekong river, has a lot of restaurants and food stalls around! It's located in a side street so I was relatively quite at night. The basic breakfast was delicious :)

I would not stay here again. We found our twin room a little bit dirty (hairs on bedsheets, floor was clean though). The public restrooms are rather not clean but also not too dirty, just acceptable for a quick shower with your eyes closed. One morning the water did not work. In our room were no clothing racks or something where you could hang your wet towel. The included breakfast & coffee was okay, you can choose between 3 options and breakfast is available from 7-10.

This is a really interesting museum. It hasn't been updated much since Laos opened up to the rest of the world. It's amazing to see the USA branded boldly as the "American Imperialists", but that's the reality of the situation! You can get through the whole exhibit in a little over an hour. Some amazing photographs from the Lao perspective.

The museum is well worth especially for its collections relating to the Vietnam war, and so Laos. There is an obvious lack of development of the exposed objects, but this is due to a lack of financial means. To be done only when one has already seen other things in Vientiane.

Our room and shared bathroom was okay, but very worn. The water heater was only working in 1 of 2 showers on our floor and of course the lock was broken in the one warm shower. Breakfast was a bit boring and the staff was not smiling or helpful. The staircase had one loose step which was very uncomfortable. Cleanliness was as rated. Price seemed okay if the above issues not been there. Recommendable if you just need a place to crash for 1 night.

Simple but good, clean guesthouse. In itself it is quiet, unless you have noisy backpackers in the neighbouring room, but there can be nothing for the guesthouse. There are three options with toast for breakfast, coffee or tea. The internet works very well.

Not well maintained, but interesting. Perhaps half is dedicated to the older history of the country, the rest (from the secret war onward) seems more like a propaganda piece. Interesting diorama carved from a stump outside the building which you can view without having to pay admission.
