Only at laico where a car stalls. No mechanic to sort you at night. They say to. Park overnight is ksh 5000.

Reception was fantastic and the workers are so friendly.

The hotel is placed just in a city center of Nairobi. Its best times had passed, but still this is quite prestige, good looking, clean and affordable place. Rooms are big, and there's a lot of them on a several floors, but elevators are super quick so there's no issue traveling up and down. You don't have to wait for a lift longer ten few seconds. Pool is not impressive as well as the restaurant, but overall impression is good. A specialty for a price.

Conference Rooms have good ambiance. Good environment for official meetings or events and also the fact that its just within Nairobi town. Good service/reception and polite attendants. Secure parking space.

It was a great place. Great reception. Though the security needs to be beefed up a little bit.

The place is old andvin great need of a refurbishment. The staff is welcoming but lack professionalism. Be careful with payment with credit or debit cards, I did not have a good experience.

Good value for the little money I paid on booking. Com food prices are to high for it's standard. My rate was bed only and the room was very comfortable.

Its excellent. Very clean and the service is impeccable. Large hi-tech conference rooms are available and it has a certain air of sophistication to it. It is a lovely place and anyone whose anyone should go there.

Not a bad hotel. Lovely interior architecture. I haven't been in the rooms but from the outside I bet it's good. The events held are also good. Would be nice for corporate events and exhibitions if at all you'd want to host one.

Apart from the horrible quality of my photos this place is awesome the people are really friendly the gym is well-equipped there's sauna and swimminpool … people are smiley and kind. Everything is as shown on their profile. They obviously put a lot of effort in safety the area is really safe and well protected.

Air conditioning is switched off in the entire building to save money. 25 degrees in your room! The breakfast is 3000! Shilling (23 Euro) for 3 toasts with a slice of nothing! The variety is bad. This was my first and also my very last time here.

Booked and paid for the deluxe as the picture displayed, but got a standard without bathrobes, sneakers and dirty room ( (say this and there is a deluxe and the pictures on the Internet do not have to look ( (old furniture, the air con works poorly (

The swimming pool is excellently renovated and have a superb ambience with well maintained warm therapeutic water which comes with a fully equipped Gym.

I did not have a first class experience. More needs to be done to take it back to the glory years. Basic facilities were missing and when you have a single point for tea when you are over 200 clients it leaves a very bad taste on service delivery.

Security is done very well without being over the top. Despite the closure years ago of underground parking and somewhat limited parking spaces I've always found the carpark security staff extremely helpful; just leave your keys with them and don't worry about anything! Quite convenient and very reassuring especially when you're running late to attend an event scheduled to start around 0900.

Laico rhumba and jazz sessions is truly epic and in a central location.

Few hotels are as elegant as this one. From its name to the coffee to it's unique name. Meals are superb. A quiet meeting place, good for lunch and romantic dinners.

Nice and big hotel in the heart of Nairobi.

We stayed here two nights on our honeymoon in June 2014, the first was arriving at Nairobi so we only spent the night and left early, yet we could have breakfast; in the second we spent also only the night and breakfast, and lunch out; It was our last day. We were on the ninth floor both nights, so you do not hear a noise only. Rooms very spacious and well air-conditioned, and with pretty good views of the city. Very comfortable beds. Very clean bathrooms, you may need for grooming. The hotel has Wi-Fi for customers, although it won't very well, especially on the upper floors, it is very slow.
On the ground floor there is an entrance to a mini Mall, where there is an Italian restaurant and some that another store of souvenirs. It also has a heated pool, but we do not use it.
The service is friendly and helpful, both in plants and in the restaurant.

We came to spend the afternoon to use the swimming pool, jacuzi, sauna and steam 23/11/2013 We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working, having pressed the bell thrice for assistance at the ladies steam area no one appeared and there were no fresh glasses for water. Deciding to spoil ourselves with tea and attractive cakes was a total disappointment. The cheese cake was stale, and the doughnuts were hard and dry and this was a total waste of our money. The coffee place had mosquitoes and had an the staff were not concerned if we enjoyed the experience of tea. what has happened to excellent cakes and snacks that one could enjoy and feel that was money well spent.
