BRIMAK HOTEL

The place is quite spacious but unfortunatley their menu is quite limited. They had no snacks like samosas. No soft drinks, fries… food items that kids can enjoy.
We ordered tea with a couple of friends but were shocked that they come pour it on your cup then leave with the tea pot (not the case in other restaurants as you have paid for the tea).
The lady who served us was also slow and untrained in how to serve the clientele.
Its not a place I would go back to.

Me and a friend decided to try out this place we've been hearing about. We were surprised to see it's situated near some neighborhoods but that didn't stop us from entering inside.
We tried the 'Mama Nilishe' restaurant and got to enjoy one of their Swahili foods. It was exquisite, though fairly pricy. Nevertheless, it's a good place to enjoy some quality time with friends and family if you stay around Utawala.

This place is somewhat close to the airport and is a fairly reasonable place to stay. Expect the music blasting at all hours of the day, so if peace and quiet is your thing, this may not be the best option. Music from bar on 7th floor is always playing at the highest volume to make sure people in the next country over can hear it!

The place looks amazing but about the food at mama nilishe I expected to have a Swahili delicacies experience some spices but the food was just normal/flat. Nothing Swahili in terms of taste (not spicy) especially with the platter n the portions are very small for such amount. Have eaten Swahili dishes B4 but this one was my worst. Kindly if it's about Swahili foods let it taste like one.
