This is very old hotel but you can stop inside because it remember ZSRR like was 30years ago.

If you come from the West and are curious about how Soviet hotels felt like, this is the place. And it doesn't mean it's bad; it just ain't the Radisson! The rooms are clean, the linen of good quality cotton, the breakfast is very good if you know what to choose or ask for and the staff is the kindest and most helpful you could dream of. The location is great. And finally, it is dirt cheap!

A great hotel with an atmosphere that belongs to it… As a piece of USSR coming out of this huge block of stone possessing a formidable situation (everything is visitable on foot and trolley stops are at a 20aine of meters). I have an impressive memory of the immense elevators at the heavy doors that date from 1960 if my memory is good… Very cheap with a European or local breakfast… Nothing to complain about!

We at this hotel had accommodation and weighing in a tournament on MMA Moldova, a good level of everything if trying to fault that is to what, but I am realistic and understand that the price and quality of services are commensurate.

It's like going back to the eighties in USSR. I had a nice stay. The only problem is it's been a little noisy outside.

Just don't go there. It's a nightmare.

Soviet style but clean with comfortable beds and super helpful reception.

Staff friendly but hotel really reduced badly, seems to stay in a busy mansion. I could not close the door of the room, the carpet at the Pianon and in the room had a disgusting odor, they would enter the pigeons in the room, crappy Wi-Fi. The price is out of place, for 25 euros without breakfast there are wonderful apartments (luxury-apartaments for one)

The service is good, the staff is polite, smiling. The hotel itself is associated with the ghost of the Soviet Union.

Great for business trips, budget, great review.

Typical hotel from the communist era. Practical, but not very elegant. Friendly reception. Moderate prices. Clean. Finally a big shower with a strong water jet. Unfortunately it is rare.

Shovel Hotel, which has long lived its own. It is clean, but not on every floor, the floor of the building is abandoned. Such to myself, in short…

The biggest and not expensive hotel.

You should know that the Cosmos is not a modern hotel! The hotel is very old. The windows in the rooms are very old and sometimes do not close properly. The technical equipment is important. With the staff, it comes down to who you catch. Part friendly, partly unkind.

The hotel is for visitors with a small budget. Located in the center of the city, the room is visible city.

This place has already become historical for Chisinau. The hotel is in a good location, but it feels like a time machine.

Location from the station of Chisinau is very near about 5 minutes on foot. Also the bus station from Bucharest where is called Central terminal is near about 10 minutes on foot. I would say this hotel is good location to visit by bus or train. Entertainment facilities in the hotel has casino, mini bar. There is a mini cart circuit and three big malls in front of the hotel. Breakfast (7:30-10:00) is included in the fare and an all-you-can-eat style. Pancakes of Moldovan style are so delicious. The room is almost cozy but in case of weekend, it might be so noisy until midnight coz there is disco bar near the hotel. Staffs, frontman are very friendly. They have wonderful smiles. Totally it's not but. I stayed there for 4 days.

They serve a great coffee and bacon roll in the reception cafe.

3 red stars! It is ok for a night or two. I have seen other places that were worst.

Back to the Soviet times, even though our room was the renovated one. The quilts, sheets and TV are from 90s. The view is great, from the 10th floor.

A real Soviet experience. Having said that, people are very nice and helpful. If you can bare that, I recommend you this experience.

Although it's an older hotel it has really good and friendly employees. The breakfast is something you should be looking for. Most the food is freshly cooked its like home cooked. I'll definitely stop by again. Also the price is reasonable.

In spite of the friendliness of the staff, the hotel leaves much to be desired.
Close rooms, minimum furnishings and hangers.
Of course, we were renting economy class rooms, but for the same price in Vienna you can rent a much more comfortable hotel.

Bad hotel. Despite the low prices, the hotel and rooms look poor. For the same money in Chisinau can be found much better hotels.

From pluses: good location is in walking distance to the city centre, railway station, central market; near 2 shopping center and hypermarket, several restaurants in the hotel, friendly staff, good Wi-Fi. Cons — Interior 30-40 years old.

This hotel is situated in center of the city, it has very beautiful view of the city, there are a lot of shops, restaurants, casino and all you need in just 5minutes walk.

Good budget hotel — you get what you pay for — For £20 a night you get a decent clean ensuite room and breakfast — I would stay here again.
