There was absolutely no Wi-Fi even though it was advertised. Staff was not very friendly.

The room is okay for it's price. It says FREE Wi-Fi but everytime we ask in the reception for the Wi-Fi password the old lady in reception always say NO Wi-Fi 🙅🤷

A budget hotel in Almaty. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. I also requested laundry service, which was very good value for money, and the lady who collected and returned my washing was very friendly.

Stayed for 5 nights in Junior Suite. It's a pretty old property with clear signs of aging but offers all basic amenities for a comfortable stay. Viz. AC, Comfy bedsheet with clean linen, LCD TV, Mini fridge, writing desk & chair and a Sofa, 24 hrs hot shower and Bidet in toilet for Asian guests. Junior suite comes with 2 small rooms, the inner being the bedroom with AC while rest all amenities are in the other room. Rooms along the busy Tole Bi Street & Auezov Street are noisy, prefer those opening towards inner areas. Electric Kettle, Microwave and ironing board with iron are installed in the corridor at each floor.
It's located at a convenient place, right on junction of Tole Bi Street+Auezov Street. Easy to explore the entire city & even Shymbulak by city buses. Bus stop in all 4 directions is less than 2 minutes away. But a Onay Card for bus & metro travel. Just 120 Tg for traveling any distance by bus or metro. Else pay 200 Tg cash to driver if not using card. Onay Card available at newspaper stalls by name Caravan. Easy to recharge at Kiosks. Small supermarket is just across the property to buy anything and everything reqd during the stay. A 5 liter water Jar of Small brand is available for just 375 Tg at this supermarket while 1 liter bottle sells at 350 Tg at other shops. Lots of Cafe's around. It's about 4-5 Kms fm the Golden Square City Centre of Zhibek Zholy Avenue, Panfilov Street & Arbat Street.

No Wi-Fi, No water, no breakfast, only 2 switches in rooms nobody ask your problems.

Decent room with old furniture. Looks untidy when we check in. The stay was good with a lot of accommodation nearby. They got small elevator. The front desk was good. Cheap and good for rest.

This is a decent hotel, it has basic facilities but the desire for luxury is baseless. Its location is good, there are 8 food joints. There is excellent connectivity by bus, tram etc. Most of the time, buses are available for every part of the city with a wait of 4-5 minutes.

Location is amazing but rooms are very small. Very old hotel but value for money.

The rooms and furniture are shabby. The leatherette was peeling off from the sofa. Pillows are very hard, and they will give you a neck pain. Sheets are not clean at first. I had to request them to change it. Can't adjust the water temperature in the bathroom. It will either it be hot or cold.

The location is very good. Breakfast included, loved it. We stayed in room 405, there was barely any cold water, it was impossible to wash, I’m not talking about the shower at all.

Good Hotel but not accepting credit card, no room service, no best Options for breakfast only limited edition.

Good location, close to banks, shops, cafes.
The hotel itself is Soviet, old, but there are many like it throughout Kazakhstan.
At the same time, the bed is normal, three sockets in the room, TV, air conditioning, plastic windows.
The staff is in Soviet traditions, not very friendly, but quite normal.
Stable Wi-Fi.
Quite comfortable room, shampoo, soap, towels.
The linen is clean, there is a blanket.
Hot water is not very stable, but tolerable.
Poor sound insulation and sometimes the smell of pipes from the toilet is not very pleasant, but there is a window.
Breakfast in a cafe nearby is quite tasty. Unfortunately, breakfast hours are only from 9 to 10 am, which is completely inconvenient.
In my opinion, the price of 10 thousand tenge plus a tax of 500 tenge (possible only for foreigners) for a double room, in my opinion, is an adequate price at the current price level in Kazakhstan.
In general, no negativity from the stay.

We stayed for a day, well, everything is old, and it kind of smells smoky, but it didn’t bother us, there were bathroom amenities, slippers and towels, we had a good rest, the administrators know their job, they’ll explain everything, they’ll show you, they’ll tell you, the building needs renovation, but we can spend the night you can, the price is normal, the hotel is simple for those who are not picky, but breakfast is included, there is a cafe near Fort Verny, tasty, beautiful, there are other cafes nearby, a stop, and a little further from the metro, there is a flower shop in the building, taxis cannot park there, apparently there is nowhere, in general, it’s ideal as a budget option… we have no complaints, thank you for your hospitality❤️

We were put in room 305, which is next door to the cleaning ladies, who in turn bring their children to work. You leave the room, and there is a kindergarten, laundresses, etc. The furniture in the room is shabby, torn, there are basically no renovations in this room (not I know how it is in others) it’s been asking for a long time. The old air conditioner is leaking all over the wall. It’s all disgusting, but the only saving grace is that breakfast is included and the food is served in the Fort Verny cafe, which is a stone’s throw from the hotel. The food is very tasty — I recommend)

I love this place, I stayed for a week here. Kind hotel staff and comfortable place with all necessary basic facilities. It's approximately near the city centre. I really recommend this place and it's very affordable. Would love to visit again 💟. Salaam from Pakistan 🇵🇰 — Muhammad Ali Abbasi.
