Zamamia International Guesthouse Hostel

Amazing food, great location, super helpful and friendly staff. You can't find a more cozy place.

There is a youth hostel and restaurant, some distance from the 2 beaches (about 20 minutes walk). Green Brigade: there are dormitory room with double room, dormitory room air-conditioning to give very sincerity (double room unknown), living room 24 hours can be used, men's and women's toilets each one, 2 bathrooms.
Small, warm and relaxing places (the internet is unstable when there are too many people, and the bathroom and toilet sometimes don't have enough illusions). Restaurant: Only lunch and dinner, but including this restaurant feels very island-like (the boss will be closed if something happens). The meal was great (the burger meat was super thick) and very authentic to European and American (because the boss is a foreigner)

Restaurant: Only lunch and dinner, but including this restaurant the whole island feels very island wind (the boss will be closed for business). The meal was great (hamburger meat super thick), very authentic European and American taste (because the boss is a foreigner AH)

Nice place, the mixed dorms were really good and provides sleeping shades which is great for personal space. Food is very good and the staff is great. Showers had very hot water which is great for an island. I would stay here again 100 percent.

We stayed one night at this hostel. Very good vibes. Talk to other guests with some days in the island to get good advice!

Nice burgers and pizza :)

I didn't stay here as a guest, I'm just reviewing the food. Come here for one of the best burgers you will find in Japan. I've been here for eight months and nothing has come close to the burgers here. Absolute must while you're on the island.

Very simple Hostel, very informal environment, nice rooms but really small, comfy beds. The burgers and pizzas that the owner makes are phenomenal! I Recommend everyone to spend a few days in Zamami, a little island that will remain in your heart!

I couldn't be more disappointed in the customer service provided by Paul. Awful experience and this place ruined my whole trip! There are much nicer places on this island that are similar in price and much nicer! Places where you won't be lied to and places that offer so much more for your $, don't do what I did and book last minute and get stuck with this place. I do not and would not ever recommend this establishment.

Stayed in one out of two private rooms with a friend for 3 nights. Not over the moon. Three stars I am giving is really a favorable review, in my opinion, compared to what service you can get elsewhere in Japan even for the same little money. If possible, do more search than we did and book something else on Zamami island. I would not stay here again: only because it was our first stop in Japan, we were worried about overall trip costs, we did not do enough research, and this place was cheap and easy to find online (as compared to many other accommodations in Zamami island), but also had good reviews. "Zamamia" is for young backpackers who's concern is budget above & beyond anything else. Yes, it is cheap (and yes, the amenities, which are modest, are clean). If you are divers, go for a scuba-diving-oriented hotel for sure, if you want to have some comfort and staff on site that can help you in official hours, book elsewhere. After staying in range of accommodations in Japan, including other hostels with private rooms (i. E. Piece in Kyoto), "Zamamia" hostel is a dark hole (it's clean, don't get me wrong). Our room did not have a window and was somehow humid with stale smell, walls thin, we could hear someone snoring in the neighboring dorm during the nights, unpleasant. Property does not have a proper bathroom where you can do your morning ritual, only WC and showers (you either brush your teeth in shower or in restroom).

Perfect spot centrally located to all the things the little town has to offer. Great price for a bed in the dorm. Air conditioning worked great and the Orion beer on draft was a perfect end to the day.

Super chill, great place to meet other travelers and it's the cheapest on island!

Very clean and comfortable guest house. There is also a nice small resturant inside the guesthouse with great pizza, burgers and beer.

Zamami is a friendly place, but the staff at Zamamia take it to a whole new level. I had dinner with my family here and the pizza was the best I've had in Japan so far, and the burgers (and buns) are made fresh daily. We liked it so much we went back the next day and invited another party we had met to join us. Everyone loved it. We didn't stay in the accommodations because we have young children, but I had a tour and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. The value is amazing for the location.

Spent 3 nights there, and it was really great. Perfect location, right next to the Harbour, perfect place to meet fellow backpackers, staff super nice who tries to help us if we have questions. I was in the female dormitory and had a great time, no problem. Showers clean but bring your shampoo, I didn't see any! And yes, the burgers are great there, indeed.

This place is great! Awesome value for the hostel and location! Tons of fun people from all over the world! Oh, and they make hamburgers that are delicious!

Missed my boat back to Naha. Glad I did.
