Good room with private bathroom, public kitchen and shower room.
Cleanliness, comfort, flexibility… all good. The best of the best was Iyo-san, the owner. He’s the reason I liked my stay so much. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, PATIENT … just great. He allowed us to have a shower just before leaving, in the afternoon, well after check-out. He also gave us a space to leave our bags on our last day. The only drawback is how thin the walls are, with no sound insulation. No problem at all but for the one night when a rowdy group of Tokyoites took over he hostel; not really caring about voice levels. Other than that, everything was perfect. I. E. Aligned with the description of the place we’d read online. Nothing fancy but plenty of good vibes.
