Very friendly and clean. Highly recommended.
Budget and spacious. I stayed in a Japanese style 10 tatami mat room — more spacious than anything in a hotel. Had mini TV and air-conditioning. No showers as it is a public bath onsen style — perfect for after skiing. Very cute family run with bus stop outside that takes you to the slopes.

Location is a bit far on foot to the ski slopes. But if you manage to catch a bus (5pm latest) you're good to go. Other than that the host is nice, the place is nice. Because it's far from central it's also much quieter. Bonus: there's an onsen 3 minutes away on foot.
