A lovely, though slightly expensive place to stay during a business or vacation trip to Sapporo. The place and rooms are built with a quaint mountain cottage type of setting, lots of real wood and logs everywhere. The morning breakfast is soup, bread slice and canned juice, and sets you up for a few hours. It's tasty, nutritious and plenty, and the service is quite nice. Rooms, beds, washroom and layout make you feel. Welcome, and the staff is very friendly, prompt and helpful. The roof-top bar is good, but doesn't allow smoking which was a tad disappointing for me. It's kind of expensive too. There's a bar right around the corner, built in American style pub and the owner speaks a little English. Not bad for a quick drink before you head out to party in Susukino. Nakajima park is a hop, skip and jump if quiet pondering evening is your thing. Highly recommend this place for long-term as well as weekend getaways.

The whole hotel is full of wood fragrance, breakfast is made of soup and bread, very GLAMPING feeling. On weekdays the upstairs bar also offers free red liquor at dusk.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast was very good and the time was accurate. The smiles of the employees were beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Overall the warm atmosphere was very good and will come back to the fence. Thank the staff.

The room was amazing. We went there with 5 people and the room was large enough to accommodate all of us. It is a 5-minute walk from Nakajima Koen subway station. When we arrived, we were welcomed with drinks such as coffee and juice. The staff was very friendly and was able to speak with us in Mandarin. During the evening, there is a bay on the highest floor providing free alcoholic drinks. It was a very pleasant stay for me and my family.

Love the pinewood and ambience of lobby plus the beautiful touch of a warm cider herbal welcoming drink. Staff was super friendly. Toiletries was nice aroma. Cozy room w adjustable heater. The hotel is located about 5mins walk away from Nakajima station.

Cute hotel — soup to your door every morning made from local ingrediants. Came during summer would love to come back in winter time. Thanks for the t-shirt will always have fond memories of beautiful Sapporo and Unwind Hotel.

This hotel is a great idea, it is cozy in some ways (the welcome drinks in the foyer were lovely, and the decor is great. ), but unfortunately the down sides were quiet big. The hotel has obviously been newly fitted out from an old hotel and a lot has not been updated. The rooms were extremely noisy with the sounds of other patrons upstairs. We were woken every morning and night by loud thumping. The room was also extremely warm with no controlled air conditioning (only an old switch that didn't seem to do much) meaning we had to open the window at night, being — 5 and snowing this was frustrating. Cords were hanging out of the television when we arrived and some of the corridors signage had been pulled off the walls. The bar upstairs is very well decorated and looked cozy on the photos, but on arrival the staff were not very welcoming, it was very cold even with the fire on and it unfortunately lost it's charm because of it. The breakfast soup was interesting but half of the days we did not get any information about what we were eating. I did really want to like this place but parts of it just did not have the warmth and charm that I would have hoped it would have. With a few changes I think this place could be great.

A camping atmosphere in a warm environment. The breakfast was amazing, with a very reasonable price, big push.

Customer service staff is a beautiful and serious Chinese university girls, all the things in the room are carefully selected high-quality texture, bar is also very atmosphere.

Lovely hotel with lodge-like design. I like the smart TV provided in the room which allows me to watch Youtube or Netflix instead of the local japanese TV channels. There is free wine tasting for hotel guests at the rooftop bar from 1700 to 1900 hrs. The bar provides nice view of the surrounding and is a cozy place for you to chill and hangout. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Communicating in English is not a problem. Overall, the hotel is good value for money, and provides a refreshing experience.

Good and fast Wi-Fi with strong signals. Staff speaks excellent English and are very helpful. Cool bar that provides free flow wine and juice to chill from 5-7. Very new TV that is a smart TV. Very nice place.

Great place. Bedroom is very cosy. Personal is friendly. English and French spoken (at least for us). Great bar on the terrace with fire camp outside in summer and chimney inside in winter. SapporoTokyu in front of Unwind makes taxi easy to get in and out. I would come without hesitation.

Modern, spacious and great staff. Didn't really get the soup for breakfast idea, but it was a novelty. Location was close enough to get to the main sights and a good location for the airport bus.

Definitely the most well thought out hotel I've stayed it. You can tell the staff took a great deal of effort setting the tone and atmosphere of the hotel. The moment you enter Unwind, you're greeted with a very Woody, cabin like vibe that feels modern. The hotel room itself was beautiful. We had a family room with two beds, a bunk bed + a couch and there was still an ample amount of room to move around. The toiletries they provide are not the typical cheap products found at chain hotels. The shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were big bottles that reminded me of Aesop. You could purchase it at the lobby. The body wash was my favorite, it smelled really good. The staff are extremely friendly and speak fluent English. The breakfast is free and different each day. Its given in a basket that contains a Stanley mug for the soup, bread, coffee beans and a juice box. You get to choose when you want the breakfast to be delivered. Overall, lovely staff and atmosphere, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to unwind for the night.

Well done with great character. Everything was very cute. Minor misses were: free wine was not great, rooms had two beds, but each bed is really very small for 2 people. Would stay again.

Great hotel. The staff are very professional and courteous. Breakfast every day a bonus. Also happy hour includes a free glass of wine for guests.

Excellent interior design and attention to detail abound. The staff are very friendly, and speak English competently. The nightly happy hour features local Hokkaido wines and a great view of the city from the top floor.

Nice room, and I love the free wine service.
