I’ve just checked in this noon, I am appalled with the service at front desk by Saori Ueda. Her handling of the necessary was the least welcoming nor friendly compared to the hospitality culture of japan that I know of and all other service staff who has made contact with me even from across the lobby at the property. I highly recommend service training for her. The room is spacious and luxurious.

Although the bed was big and comfortable, the room is dated and needs upgrading. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. It was all pork products and you had to get your own coffee. The waiters didn’t seem happy to help with simple requests. For a 5 Star hotel the experience was rather dissappointing.

5-star hotel. Very good location, just connect to Hiroshima station and several choices of restaurants & supermarkets / convenience stores nearby (walking distance). But with its quality and price, I would expect more facility included with the price room which turned out not. Rather than that, everything else is good.

Excellent hotel with great views, nice rooms, amazing breakfast and located v close to the station. However it gets marked down because they charge an extortionate rate to use the swimming pool. It isn't included in the price for the night and that was very disappointing as it was the main reason I booked it.

Just few meters from the station. I spent there with family. The price is absolutely reasonable for 2 adults and two kids. Even though we had one room. The room was spacious. A perfect place to stay when visiting Hiroshima for one day. Then continue with JR rail pass on next stop.

Breakfast, dinner and room service meals are delicious.
Breakfast choice, Japanese breakfast, bread, salad, Ugg, egg dishes, cooked food, fruit, etc. Can eat very satisfied.
Dinner buffet choices are not so much, but each one is delicious. Hotel location in Hiroshima Station on the second floor of the north entrance out of the empty bridge to the nearby there are many restaurants and shops can go, the overall is a convenient place, live very comfortable!

Extremely strategic location for this Hotel attached to Hiroshima Central Station and overlooking the terminus of the bus terminal.
The Hotel is luxurious with staff at the height and very nice rooms, I did not particularly appreciate the fact that you have found the large stained glass window at a dirty corner of several greasy manate as well as other small things like: toilet paper inside the WC at our Ibgresso, the water in the shower that was not well mixed with sudden changes in temperature and air conditioning not adjustable.
Extensive availability of towels, bathrobes, gadegt for intimate hygiene and especially bathtub and shower.
The breakfast buffet is of a decent choice but poorly positioned overall.

Excellent service and comfortable amenities. Remember one night when we got off a shuttle bus at Hiroshima station with multiple luggages of kids stuff plus a stroller, a hotel staff was willing to brought a luggage cart out of the hotel to the shuttle stop, helped loading the baggage and transported them to our room door. This was more and beyond my expectation of an upscale hotel.

Excellent location with direct access to Hiroshima station, including nearby dining options. Complimentary suite upgrade and lounge access for Platinum guests. Nice amenities. Accommodating staff. Unbeatable view of the city from the room.

The rooms rate 4 stars. No help with luggage on arrival. Breakfast was a rugby scrum. Character “lite” establishment. Very convenient for transport and shopping.

If I could give more stars I would! Great hotel with friendly staff. Literally next to Hiroshima station. Will be coming back again next time. View is from my room on 19th floor.

Modern Hotel with all the comforts. The gym and pool for free use for guests are nice and functional. The 4 stars are deserved. I didn't try the breakfast, just a cappuccino and a croissant on the fly and they were not bad. The staff.

Excellent Western style hotel. Rooms were pristine and fitting a third person included an additional bed instead of an adapted couch. Dinner and breakfast were great, buffet style with many options.

This hotel was amazing better than the sheratons I have stayed in stateside. I spoke with with the hotel representative prior to my husband and I stay because I wanted it special for his birthday and they gave dinner recommendations and assisted in reservations plus gave my husband a complimentary gift after checking in! We hade the king corner on the 18th floor and the room was very nice and spacious, view was amazing. Staff was very kind and spoke very good English! I will definitely being staying again in the future. There was a slight wait for the breakfast buffet but it was quick and our wait was no more than about 10 minutes and the food was very good.

A beautiful hotel right next to Hiroshima station. Comfortably fitted our family of 3. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good for staying, but a little pricey. Whilst the hotel has a pool, it's the first hotel I have been to that charges extra for it's usage. At ¥1620, it's not cheap either for pool usage.

Excellent beautiful hotel! The hotel is attached to the JR Hiroshima station, literally right at the North exit so it was really convenient. They held our bags when we arrived for our one night stay and delivered them to our room when it was ready. We checked in after exploring Miyajima island. Check in was quick and the hotel staff was just incredibly courteous. The room was beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you could ask for. Like, if you didn't bring anything but tomorrow's clothes and shaving cream you'd be fine. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the city was nice. In the morning we packed up and headed to the desk intending to ask if we could leave our bags while exploring the city for a few hours, but we didn't have to because they asked us almost immediately as we approached the desk for checkout. We sincerely appreciated that, it's just another great service touch. Thank you for a great stay, we absolutely would come back or recommend it to anyone.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Also, quite affordable for the level of service from the staff. The staff are able to converse in simple English, so it should not be much of a problem for international guests.

Amazing location, right next to the northern exit and taxi rank at the station. Room was huge, so clean and so well done. Felt very modern and fresh. View from the room was amazing. You can see the whole of Hiroshima and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast buffet was really nice. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Location cannot be better, it's right next to north exit of JR Hiroshima station (shinkansen trains and local tramway). Service is exactly what you would expect from a Sheraton. Spacious and very quiet room. Staff was smiling and very helpful. We really enjoyed our night there.

Great hotel, conveniently located next to the station, friendly staff and spacious rooms. The hotel pool is great, however you need to pay ¥1620 without tax per day to use it… Just raise your prices instead of begging for money.

Big modern rooms & convenient location. The reason why I didn't give this hotel a 5-star review is because we needed to pay extra for using the spa & sauna. This made the service feel cheap, I rather pay 10€ more per night than being charged extra.

Easily the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was spacious, hard to find in Japan. The AC was superb. The staff were very inviting, even showing us all the way to the elevator. I will only stay here whenever I am in Hiroshima.

The Grand Sheraton in Hiroshima was one of the most pleasant hotels I have ever visited. I felt as though I walked into a place where I was considered for who I am instead of a dollar sign or room number. For example, I told the front desk that I was visiting for my honeymoon and a few hours later I was delivered chocolate (which were very good) to my room from the General Manager. The whole experience was a joy and I will never forget the incredible service provided. Ask for Mr. Kupannkone when checking in. He is incredible!

Nice hotel with large rooms, carpet in the room has dirty spots — could use some regular professional carpet cleaning, this really surprised me being that rest of the room like tiles, shower/bath and faucets they clean spotlessly daily.
Internet connection was just absolutely below my expectation being in Japan. It was off more than on, and very randomly. Called front desk and IT support few times per day during my first few days, just gave up after wasting so much of my time on this.
Another minus, from hotel chain of this size and reputation you don't expect to be "nickel and dime" for everything. Pool and gym access: extra charge, breakfast: extra charge, dinner buffet quite expensive for the level and quality of the offerings. Really overpriced. But the top was when I ordered a glass of wine and they brought me miniature glass (suited for a baby doll) of house wine with a $10 charge per glass. Absolutely ridiculous.
This hotel needs to make some serious changes, I think they got too comfortable with themselves.

The hotel has an incredibly convenient location right next to the train station, which was very welcome after a long trip to Hiroshima from the US. It will only be improved once the extension to the train station is completed and there will be a direct walkway available to the hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful; from check in to check out and the concierge service were friendly and accommodating. The corner king room was spacious, clean and very comfortable along with an amazing view.

Wonderful location right next to the train station which makes getting around extremely easy! The staff was very helpful in answering our questions and helping us navigate and find the best restaurants. The rooms werre comfortable and well sized and had a nice view of the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet, convenient location for business.

Amazing hotel, I walked yesterday to hyroshima center, and its joust a 30min walk very plessant. The service its amazing, they take care of everything, evwn they try there best to understand you. The food its good and rooms are qyite clean, great beds and ome of the best showers in hotels I know.

Go to Miyajima island and come back checking in on the 6/F (Lobby). All luggages are already in our room. Stay in the club level 21/F (highest floor) overlooking the whole Hiroshima city with very good view. Very good, tidy, clean spacious room with semi-open bath room but close toilet with translucent glass wall and partition door. A very nice hotel with the convenience to tram, bus, taxi and Shinkansen as well as within walking distance to a lot of the sightseeing points. An excellent choice for accommodation in Hiroshima!

A very nice hotel with the convenience to tram, bus, taxi and Shinkansen.

A good value considering the quality of the room and the quality of service. Being beside the train station is nice for getting to Miyajima and the airport but kind of a pain for getting downtown — this is mostly because getting from the hotel-side of the station to the tram-side of the station is confusing and long because of all the construction.

Large western style hotel right at the train station. Corner rooms on the high floors have great views over the city.

Very good customer service, helpful and polite staff. I personally don't like the food offered in hotel so I usually eay at one of the various eateries surrounding the hotel, especially since the train station offers so many options.

VEry nice hotel, great location for commuting, the only down point is that they charge for internet.

Brilliant, could not fault the room or service. The mini bar was well priced and good location, right beside the bullet train. Will stay here again.
