The location was great and staff were very helpful. Room was a good size. Issue here was that the room had a very strange smell of cleaning supplies and roach spray that wouldn’t go away. Otherwise decent stay.

The hotel was at walking distance from Hiroshima Station. We stayed in a Japanese style room. It was beautiful and spacious. It did not have a private bathroom (we knew when we booked it), but the shared bathrooms were always clean. The laundry was convenient and affordable (200Y washing, 100Y drying). The staff was nice and spoke english.

I thought this hostel was actually pretty great. I have stayed in my fair share of hostels. Traveling partner and I got a room with two twins and a bathroom. The bathroom was extremely tiny (if you know anything about Japanese housing, this is normal but I can see how this might be an issue for someone who is tall or bigger. ) The location is fantastic! Just a 7 minute walk from the hostel. If you get hungry — there's a 7-Eleven down the street and a few restaurants around the area. The staff seem to speak English well. They also provide free luggage storage if you're checking in or out that day and free lock box for any items you want to keep safe. Don't forget to take your shoes off at the door!

Small and homely place. Very comfortable for traditional living quarters.

Great opportunity to stay in a Japanese-style room, with friendly staff who speak English :). My six-foot-two husband had to duck to get through doors, all part of the experience.

Cheap prices and clean and very basic rooms. Bicycle. Good common area where you eat meals and meet people.

One of the most beautiful hostels we were in Japan. Comfortable, quiet at night, with common and comfortable areas and signs with instructions in English.

My Dad and I stayed at Hiroshima Hana Hostel in the Japanese Style room for two nights. It was a great experience, the only downside is that the pillow was so humongous. The staff at the Hostel was very friendly. They were able to recommend good places to eat and sites to see. The hostel is very close to Hiroshima Station, which makes it very convenient to get to and to go to other place. I read some other reviews and they mentioned train noise, I heard them too but I didn't think it was too bad (they do provide earplugs if you really want). It's also only a 15 minute walk from Costco is you have a membership and want super cheap sushi. I would definitely stay here again, when were staying here there were some other cool people staying at the hostel too.

First off, the location of the hostel is amazing. It is right beside Hiroshima station (within 5 min walk). The hostel was also clean and had very friendly staff that speak good English. With such a good location, it's easy to find and easy to base out of for trips. However, with being so close to the station, you hear the train go by at night. With the window open it's almost to the point where you're woken up every time the train goes by. The counter DOES provide ear plugs to try and remedy the problem. I rented the two person room and that room was the closest to the tracks. Other people in the hostel had other rooms and said it didn't bother them too much.

Smaller and cozier hostel. Staff was really nice and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

We got a room for 3. There were traditional japanese beds. We had a private toilet with shower. There are different types of rooms. Some can be dormitory. The personnel is kind and speaks very good English. It is very close to Hiroshima station and there are restaurants and stores around the station. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. There are 2 washing machines and 1 dryer are on the 5th floor. They use 100 yen coins. The hotel is very clean.

Excellent staff. Facilities are stocked with washer and dryer. Early/late check in/out for luggage is available too.

Very clean, friendly staff and what I liked the most was that it was SO CLOSE to JRs Hiroshima station, attends Shinkansen as well. Recommended place.

Right next to the tracks, with no isolation, each time a train goes by you wake up, bathroom was small even compared to Japanese standards. They don't even give you hand towels when you rent a room with private bathroom. Would not recommend.

Great hostel with Japanese style rooms air conditioner, next to the train station, shops, street cars, all round great play, free Wi-Fi and great staff. I would highly recommend this place.

A good place to stay near a train station. Room was big and kind of traditional. Staff speaks English fluently and can help a lot. There is a common 3 shower rooms in the hostel. You can also get a room with a toilet.

One of those classic traveler hostels you want to stay at. Lots of information on activities, food, friendly staff, international travelers (if that's important for you), clean rooms, and overall a welcoming vibe going on. It's also only a 5minute walk away from the central station.

Very good, clean, friendly, close to the station, with the railpass have tourist near the bus stop. I recommend easy to start excursions.

Great location, only 5 mins from JR Hiroshima station. Friendly staff and very clean. Also has an elevator!

Basic and affordable accommodations, clean and without curfew. Only issue I had was with the paper-thin walls — travellers leaving and dragging their suitcases in the morning will wake you up if you're not a heavy sleeper.

Your internet is bad enough.

Very well located 3 minutes walking away from Hiroshima station. The twin private rooms are very nice with tatami floor, a small table, extra futons and covers, private toilets and shower/bath. I even had a small veranda (with a view on the cemetery). The Wi-Fi connection is very stable. The prices are regular, you need to pay 100 for a rental towel. There is a common area on the first floor and the top floor, besides the rooftop. The rooftop is quite nice with a few tables and chairs. The staff speaks English and is very friendly. Soap and shampoo are provided. No curfew of any kind. It's a modern building, but not so big, and the overall experience is good.

The quality-price ratio is fabulous. Cleanliness and service = perfect.
We were in a private room with our own bathroom and it's rather perfect. And then it is typical: tatami and futons, exactly what you could want when you stay at the Japan.
The area is not very lively but you find even a few very good restaurants nearby. Good and then it is 5 minutes walk from the station at the time travel around Hiroshima is really easy.
Only negative noise from trains. It's really really loud. They provide ear plugs home also. That explains that.

Good, clean, weekly organize events like okonomiyaki parties or sake tasting. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Location is great. Close to Hiroshima station and the Hiroshima Carps stadium. Friendly staff. Nice dorms with toilet and sink in the room. Would definitely recommend. If they are full try their sister hostel J-Hoppers.

Fantastic hostel. Great English speaking staff who actively want to help you out. Rooms are immaculate, fairly priced, great location.

Best hostel I've stayed at. I stayed overnight here when studying abroad in a two person ensuite. It was homey and clean.
