By far the worst hotel I've stayed in. Even budget motels would have done a better job. No ac. No hot water. Fridge not working. I mean, what more can someone ask for in a 3 star hotel? Just the bare minimum that the hotel advertised.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. AC temperature set on 25 or 26 degrees Celsius with barely any effect on room temperature. No hot water when you come back after having sweated in your walks around Rome. Dirty walls and ceiling in room. The parquet does not cover the floor wall to wall. It also has voids under some of its areas, and seems to have puffed up as if it has been soaked in water. Closet lacked a door knob when we came in, not to mention the extremely poor quality of furniture in the room.

There is nothing less than one star, that's why I give it one star! One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in! Rome is too hot in summer, the hotel says that they offer AC, I booked accordingly, the second day from my stay AC stopped totally today I am in my 7th day and no AC is available! We did not enjoy our visit to Rome because of the hotel which made our visit miserable and I am not intending to revisit Rome because of the bad time we experienced in this “hotel"! It is not recommended at all! Bathroom is too small, shower area is extremely small! There is no space to move! It is not advisable unless You want to suffer your stay! Their breakfast is very limited! You would not have many food to select! The bathroom is not clean and it's window is open to another building where no curtain was provided! On the other hand, I liked the receptionist who was always smiling and it is obvious that it is not in his control to help. I would suggest for all those who intended to visit rome in summer to check with hotels they are booking if AC is available and if so, is it in a good condition.

Very good location near the termini and close to a co op supermarket. The hotel itself has a nice marble staircase which you may become very familiar with since the lift is always in use by someone — 28 steps per floor. There is a stairlift to the first floor. The room we were in had a tv, small fridge, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The floor was laminate. The bathroom was a reasonable size with a small bath tub with shower. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice of pastries, rolls, juice, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit and a hot drinks machine.

Very disappointing experience. The hotel is really crappy and staff is difficult. They overcharged us city taxes insisting we are booked for 4 days even though we showed them a written confirmation that says 3. Plus they sent us to another hotel the first night because they had no hot water and we ended up paying extra city taxes out of our own pocket! Terrible and would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointed, cleanliness level I have never seen this shower in addition to being very small is black mold fungus, yellow and black VMC rope of dirt without forgetting the dirty bed top and the towels badly washed. It is also difficult to rest because the cleaning staff do not make themselves out of discretion from 8AM in the morning, it sings in the hallways! I do not recommend this hotel unfortunately for more than €120 per night, this is really not worth the price indicated. Only positive point the location.

A good option to enjoy Rome. I cannot be fully objective because the trip was closed to through an offer and I don't know the price. In addition, by descordinación of the hotel and the web, we had to give you a better room. Highlight of my trip: — Room: Big and clean with plenty of space and, in our case, exterior with balcony to the street. — Personal care: very friendly and fluent in several languages (English, Spanish, French…)
— Breakfast: mini ‘buffet’ with enough variety for the breakfast complete. — Location: next to Termini station, and with the possibility of walking to the centre of Rome. Good choice.

The hotel staff well one great gentleman hotelier is really let down by this hotel and the hotel owner couldn’t give s fig as long as his rooms are full of unexpecting visitors no worth the money as the hotel it self is a embarrassment, the cleaners are good but the rooms so run done dirty walls mould all over bathroom room service phones don’t work bad communication with launguge barrier beds dirty stains ripped sheets no kettle or drinks just cans of pop and water at 250 Euro each the pictures you have been looking at are not the same dingy street smokers alround outside the only ashtray ambulances screaming day and night breakfast not for us prefer our eggs cooked properly rand out of tea bags asked and was snarled at yes close to metro but the chance of eating there is not going to happen unless you get a delivery from restaurants next road down maybe if your expectaints are high as ours find a different hotel as this I would rate as a 1 star better hostels around and 2, 4 /5 stars just as close a little dearer but the chances are you will be more welcomed and not in a nightmare room how high are your standers before you book the I could go on but just read all comments the bad ones are the true ones the photos are a sham too happy holidays guys see lift see room see breakfast one week later we were.

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For everything else the worst hotel of all my biajes, the heating n is adjustable, smell in the bathroom to nauseating sewers (first floor), there is Wi-Fi but n expect to be able to connect or to Facebook. Breakfast Justisimo, we travelled with a baby and n have no microwave for their bottles. It must be said Tambein that the price goes to reason for all this.

Very good location close to the terminus and about a 15 minute walk you have almost everything. Clean Hotel and spacious rooms. Good breakfast buffet. Close to the hotel there are good places to eat.

The hotel is a 3 star hotel dust. The rooms are clean although in some the heating does not work. The staff is good although there are exceptions.
The price is justified by the location.

Rooms are in good condition. Sanitary facilities also. Breakfast could be more varied.

So honestly the best times the hotel has behind it. The rooms and all around it are OK but no more either. Everywhere the paint is crumbling or the water stains are not properly placed. Breakfast was not good. A variety of cheese and sausage with not much taste. The best part is that it is very central.

Dry little buns and some apples. Cereal, yogurt and jam. No fresh juice or anything like that! Really bad. But it's not enough to get tired.

Very nice staff. The hotel is a 7-8-minute walk to Termini and is on a side street; Chaos can't be heard. International breakfast, good rooms.

Bad bad. With the persomal who works and runs the hotel with very little education. Especially the governance and manager Hotel dirty and bad. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Quite a budget hotel. Didn't seem like a 3 star. The room was very dingy and bathroom had rusty fittings. But otherwise clean. It is however very near to the main bus station so was good enough for sightseeing purposes. Breakfast buffet was ok — most of the time the food would get over and it would take a lot of time before it was refilled.

The location is ideal since it is very close to Termini, it is like the bus station and a very important subway station. The hotel only saw the front desk and it was a bit old overall. When we arrived we were told Q they had a problem with the water all over our floor and we were moved to another hotel TB of theirs at the end of the street which by the way was much better! It's called Hotel Giglio Dell Opera. Now I'll make a comment there.

Very close to the train station and a few steps from the subway. Clean and tidy rooms, international breakfast. One point in favor for the hotel is the kindness of the staff, courtesy and sympathy from the whole staff! If I go back to Rome I will choose the Hotel San Remo again! Recommended!

Pros: Friendly staff and great location. Cons: Room poorly laid out and smelt badly of sewage.

We paid €40 for Booking. It's well located. The building needs maintenance but our room was modern and clean. The bed was nice and the heating and shower perfect. Regular breakfast. Eggs were missing and the juice was artificial.

We were guests at this hotel, me and my class last year in May.
In addition to being in a fairly central location that allows the walk to the imperial forums and Colosseum, the rooms are kept in excellent condition!
The staff is friendly and accommodating, the clientele is varied but absolutely not disturbing.
The whole structure is well organized and very cared for.
The breakfast is plentiful and the affiliated restaurant at the hotel has a varied and good cuisine.
The area is quiet and the rest is guaranteed!
The value for money is very good!
I recommend it to everyone!

Good stay at the Hotel San Remo: The room in which I slept was very good (recently renovated I think) no problem at the bathroom level; The breakfast was plentiful and with a lot of choice (Italian pastries, salty food…)
The staff very good: smiling, and professional in summary this hotel is a good plan: — it is well placed (next to the train, bus and Metro) — its price is affordable-rooms and services.

4 stars for breakfast, service and is located two steps from the station. Room nn outstanding… but I assure you I have seen worse…

Great location very close to the forum and downtown. The site needs a recycling. Even that to sleep is good, the breakfast very poor, the toaster you need 10 minutes to toast the bread and I'm not exaggerating.

Very nice hotel, very close to the Termini station. Super efficient and friendly staff. Always ready to fulfil every desire of the customer. From various time it hosts exhibitions of famous and well-established modern artists. The presence of Cleofe Ferrari and the art critic Giorgio Grasso is common in the hotel, in the care, organization and presentation of high-level exhibitions.

Rome hotels are notorious for tiny micro matchbox rooms. This is one of the few with BIG rooms. Staff are nice too. Breakfast not great tho. The marble staircase is stunning. Not overpriced either. Very central. Enjoy Ciaran Dublin.

The room is quite spacious but my bathroom is a chestnut, the shower enclosure is literally dropped. And the pillows harder than a stone. I'm not happy with the hotel. He's got a star left. On the contrary the very good location allows you to walk to all the sites. And the problem with the bulkhead I said at reception in the morning and when I arrived at night it was changed.

Basic rooms but did the job of keeping us cool and having somewhere to rest between sight seeing. Great location we were able to walk to everywhere we needed and not far from coach drop off point.

Decent budget hotel at a great central location. Basic amenities. P. S. No hot Kettle available in rooms.

Boa localização, próximo dos principais pontos turísticos, estação de trem próxima com destino ao aeroporto, o quarto é bem espaçoso, arejado e o café é muito bom, os funcionários são bastante atenciosos e prestativos. Por outro lado não gostei de que a cama do quarto de casal são duas camas de solteiro juntas e a água quente do chuveiro tem pouca pressão.

A breakfast hotel in the middle of the city, 5 minutes from the main train station.
A snack and a beer are offered in the small lounge area. Only there is Wi-Fi.

Like most people say, YES it is old and a bit worn out, but we found it a bit charming, and its CLEAN… the staff are very friendly and helpfull and so are the rest from the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff. If you need information the receptionists are always very kind and helpfull and we dont have a single complaint. Location is good as its close to the Roma termine and close to other sights as well… We would definately consider staying there again.

Good location. Near public transport very basic but clean and comfortable. Walking diatance from some tourist sites!

This is my second stay at this hotel. Greeted on arrival by friendly staff, who altered our room straight away as myself and my partner was with my two sons and wanted the rooms on the same floor. Room was clean when we arrived and every day for the 7 days we stayed. Air con could be colder as it was really hot when we were they, other than that I have no complaints. My twin boys got on with all the staff. One of my boys do magic and so he was entertaining them at times. Thank you for being so kind to them on this their first visit aboard. The hotel is so close to the Termini so perfect location. Would definitely go back.

I and my family stayed here 22nd june to 23 june 2017 very basic facility, break fast is not that great. Staff are good and very convenient to all surrounding attractions such as Trevi fountain and spanish steps and most importantly main train station. healthy and natural free drinking water tap is near by.

Stayed for only 2 days and there was no hot water at all… After taking cold shower I fell sick for the rest of vacation. No apology ever was extended for such inconvenience. Upon check-out receptionist tried to charge a city-tax again, which we payed right at the check-in. We were left with the feeling like we just didn't want to pay… Very poor customer service…

Bad service. Dirty rooms with bathrooms not only in poor condition but also without hot water. Mini bar not working. Taken to the current only in the bathroom. All this is worth 3 stars?

We only stayed one night. Its very convenient for the distance to Termini station. The room was very nice an had a very good size for Italy standards. The breakfast pastries were amazing!. The staff was nice, polite and helpful.

The facility is nice though in. Renovation, the bathrooms not exceptional.

Almost enough furniture (the baseboard and the parquet was a bloated due to the water) however it has the fridge and TV.

The bathrooms are not suitable.

Room was tidy but they didn't refill the bathfoam after the day after, the keyholder provided was so heavy and big I had to leave it in custody at the reception everytime I went out, I didn't quite like the breakfast either.

Found 3 cockroaches in our first tiny room and requested to move, they said it couldn't be done due to them having no rooms available. We called our tour director to ask if our tour, who paid for the hotel, could get their money back due to this disgusting infestation, and he went down to the front desk and we had a room within 4 minutes that was on the same floor we were just on. The only difference was that they had a larger bed and bath area. Coming home after dinner we see yet another cockroach in the new room and decide to just try and sleep in the room with the lights on. Overall, the fact that there are dustbunnies everywhere, small bedrooms and bathrooms, uncomfortable beds, a bug infestation and worn furnishings make this place nearly unlivable and I cannot wait to leave Rome, sadly.

Even thogh the first room was very bad; however after we complained about the broken shower handle, dryer, and the shower buth, the staff kindly changed a better condition room. Considering 3 star hotel, not so bad.

The good: location, close to Roma Termini can walk the train to the hotel, not far from tourist spots. The friendly staff of the hotel. Proper cleaning every day.
The bad: wouldn't the air conditioning they give you as a solution to open the window, but ours gave to courtyard and came scent to fried food from the kitchen. The old bathroom and narrow shower. Passable but not very good buffet breakfast.

Room was clean, but a bit dated (some flaking paint and old towels). Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Hotel location is very central, easy meter station and subways. Out to lunch and dinner, there are a lot of nearby bars and restaurants at reasonable prices.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The room was ok-ish (was big enough) and the staffs were friendly. But the bathroom was very bad. Though it's close to the city center.

Very kind and helpful people at the reception. Also, the moneybper night I a good deal based on its good location (50euro per night). The bed was not perfect and the heating was not actually heating the room but it wasnt that cold so no problem. In general, a good choice of hotel in rome for a not-high budget. Also, for a 3 star hotel the breakfast was good.

For AU$150 I received the smaller room ever with the most unstable and spring uncomfortable bed ever! Rusted broken shower where the shower doors don't work so water literally flooded the bathroom and bedroom! Not to mention the shower was miniature. Staff were rude even though I hadn't complained. I spent the next night at a hostel up the road for AU$45 they had better beds and showers! And very friendly! Only good thing about this place was the breakfast food of buffet crossants breads and so forth.

Very nice hotel the breakfast is free and filling! The only issue we had was the smell of the toilet water was a little intense but otherwise it was a fantastic stay.

The Hotel San Remo Rome has come somewhat in the years. And yet it has a charm. It is situated directly at the central station Rome, absolutely. It is clean, good service, the rooms are sufficient completely to sleep, and breakfast is also o. K. Price performance ratio right. I can only recommend it.

Small room, window into the courtyard. Air conditioning did not work. Location, free Wi-Fi. The location! Breakfasts are very good compared to other hotels! Close to Metro station and Termini station, a huge plus.

When you try to be a failure in the bathroom modern rust on taps and falling wallpaper in the shower or if service was good ok super cleaning of room location directly 5 min to walk from the Termini.

The location of the hotel is very central, it takes 1min to the beach and also the city of the hotel-near bus stop in a short time. The rooms (double room) is relatively small and was during our 12 days stay only once makeshift cleaned. Breakfast (we booked half board) is tenuous, if it appears not just in time the bread is quickly empty and refill will not always. There are sausage/cheese, otherwise only jam / Praline paste only every other day. In the evening, the food is quite good, as a first course there is pasta in different variations, then meat, and dessert always some fruit each day (Apple/melon/peach, ect). The majority of the staff was very friendly, but it was partially by male staff (we're both blonde girl, 18 years of age) intrusive bequatscht, or man has only the room keys given us, if it was allowed to kiss our hand. If you have not so much money, the hotel is ok.

I was for the third time in April of this year, I found a hotel rather than modern, re-buenas rooms, excellent breakfast, and more than affordable rates, great concierge staff, registered a growth process that deserves to be applauded, I think back to it in two years, its location is ideal, I recommend it. —.

It is located about 50m from the beach. The rooms are adequately equipped for the money. Cleaning before it should have actually. If you damage or other concerns can't be helped though, because the staff is neither German nor English, sign language (/ en wants). There is also no Division of work in the hotel. Everyone does everything poorly than right. The entrance seems to be the private living room of the owner. The food should be surprised, what this time Loveless will be presented on the plates. The (only the staff known) table order is maintained, even if one does not know the table neighbors. The breakfast is not to be recommended! While on vacation, the rooms are not cleaned even if it rains inside. You should organize themselves to toilet paper! The hotel is not recommended for celebration happy teenagers.

None of knows English, all speak in Italian, no matter whether you understand it or not. Sign language is the only thing that the employees understand, even the numbers by one toe can be communicated not in English. Toilet paper you must beg and a cleaning lady not comes in four days anyway. The bathroom is not more to enter without shoes, because there is no shower tray and the whole room is a single shower. On the optimal position there to say anything positive about this dog hotel.

Location convenient. Bathroom OK. The average level of repair, Breakfast good. Staff attitude decent. Suitable hotel for one or two nights.
