A place well thought out and realized this resort placed in an old monastery in the upper part of Assisi. The combination of ancient and modern is played with care emphasizing a well-groomed atmosphere. Both the interior and exterior spaces are very comfortable.
The real gem, however, is represented by the SPA which, correctly associated with the word Museum. In a very large space combine with harmony architecture and modern equipment with old walls and finds of Roman baths.
The route that passes from the Warmtor to the Caldario, Sudario and Frigidario through very well cared for and evocative environments strongly recalls the roots of the place and represents a very pleasant experience.
The staff are very knowledgeable and extremely kind.

A unique jewel. It is the second time that we pass. I must say that I found some small neo with respect to the first time, perhaps due to the summer season (? ). The restaurant: the beautiful terrace of Assisi, but the menu is always the same and it is hard to choose after the first two dinners… in return, the staff were very friendly and professional, especially Leonardo. Also the lunch is equal to dinner! Breakfast: a wonder for all tastes! The Spa is a real museum; I love the path of “roman”. More supervision and/or assistance would be, however, desirable, since the visitors often confuse the SPA with a swimming pool. Sometimes I also noticed little or no education (and hygiene)! Would do more than. Used towels left on the chaise-longue when there is a special basket that is empty. However, even here the staff welcomes you very well, perhaps, here, should be more present. Ultimately though, I will be back soon hoping to see to have accepted these modest suggestions.

High-level spa cuisine among the best you can find in Umbria very prepared and kind staff know how to cuddle and really know how to take care of you. Keep it up for me you are the top in Umbria.

A magical place in the heart of Assisi. Among the ruins of the old town has been recovered a luxury spa that, for those who choose Assisi to relax and spend a few days between silence and tranquillity, is strongly recommended. Choosing also just the wellness path is really worth it.

The utmost expression of hospitality in Assisi. The spa is exciting. Very interesting the Osteria Eat Out attached to the structure that enjoys excellent views over Assisi and also enjoys an amazing cuisine.

Only 5 stars in the area, removed some architectural detail a bit too industrial in the solemn and ancient context of the structure, absolutely nothing to plead. Courteous and formal staff, cleanliness of the unexceptionable public areas, an extraordinary spa. The perfect place to relax and pamper yourself.

Nice hotel, with very attentive staff, definitely the best in which it was in Umbria. The rooms are cured, but not luxurious, a little ' for the limits imposed by the original structure of the building (a former convent) a little ' for the choice of the furniture with minimal design. The value for money of the hotel is great.
The strong point is undoubtedly the wellness area obtained between Roman cisterns and the remains of the amphitheatre, also the treatments are excellent: Therapists of the SPA prepared and very good, treatments quite expensive. Good breakfast, great dinner at the hotel restaurant, EAT out.

Wonderful and perfect day spa.

The rooms are lovely and the spa is nice — the people working here are very nice. The restaurant however is very inconsistent — one night they served us the worst fish I have ever had — it was inedible — rubbery and could not even chew it — did not eat it. But then one night they served an appetizer of cheese fondue and truffles that was really good… If I came back I would stay here but I would not eat dinner in the restaurant.

The place looks amazing and the sauna and steam rooms are beautifully organized. But the treatments and below average. The technical who did the massage was abnormally fast with her hands. It felt like a tornado and manicure and pedicure was a waste of money to be honest.

I adored my day at the Nun. The place is really lovely, relaxing in a place steeped in history but at the same time ultra modern was fantastic. The swimming pools the Jacuzzi and the path consisting of the tepidarium, boiler, steam and frigidarium are truly an excellence, a corner formed by relaxation rooms where you can enjoy a wide choice of herbal teas and fresh and dried fruit were really a surprise. Staff friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I will return soon to visit you.

Great modern design rooms. Amazing spa with massage treatments. Is a bit pricey.

I can't say enough about our wonderful stay here. It was a relaxing oasis in a beautiful city. We loved the marriage of the old and new in this space. The breakfast offering was lovely and very tasty and the staff was gracious and accommodating. I am already devising a plan to return to spend more time here. It was truly spectacular. A very memorable and romantic space to spend our honeymoon.

I recommend not to overlook the relaxation area with herbal teas and healthy snacks based on fresh and dried fruits and vegetables. Excellent bio lunch. Extremely relaxing environment. Relaxing spa in a beautiful place with fragrant herb aroma cannot be better than anything after a long train/bus ride as a traveller. Two different warming up rooms and dry sauna and humid sauna and icy cold fragrant room with cold shower and then spa in big pool like area was great! The restaurant also serves the most delicious gourmet food.

Upon entering the gate of this amazing hotel we were welcomed by the beauty of lavender, sage, rosemary filing the garden. We knew we were in for a great experience and we were right. Our room was perfect with a perfect terrace where we looked out over Assisi and Umbria. The staff was so happy to help us with anything. We felt welcomed and appreciated. I stayed two days with my partner to the Nun and it truly was a great idea! Beautiful hotel built from the walls of a former monastery, spa does not clean very nice and cared for. Very good restaurant, friendly staff and helpful! An experience to try.

The location, the service, the architecture, the room, the history, the restaurant, the spa. Everything about this fantastic gem will always bring me fond memories of Assisi. I really hope to be able to enjoy another stay at Nun, everything was exquisite. Would definitely recommend for a romantic escapade.

Everything perfect, precise but not intrusive service, spa truly professional, proper balance between tradition and innovation. You never get the feeling of crowding, even though we were in an intense period. We will definitely be back.
