We have stayed seven nights in Hotel Reale in Montecatini Terme. The room met our expectations of a three stars hotel (the bed was a plus) and we liked the atmosphere and facilities (like a swimming pool). Breakfast and dinner were served in a neat dining room. Menu options and quality were very satisfying. The “patrone” and his dedicated staff made this hotel feel like home. Very kind people, always giving you a warm welcome, even helping with improving our knowledge of Italian language (if they had time) and making sure that everything was alright. In Hotel Reale, you are not just another booking, but a really welcome guest. We recommand this hotel to everyone, who is interested in exploring (Northern) Tuscany (Florence, Pisa, Lucca (a must see! ) and Montecatini Terme itself.

5 stars well deserved! A stay for 8 nights excellent. Warm welcome by the very friendly staff. Car parking is taken care off in case you might hesitate to do it yourself. The hotel atmosphere is relaxed. Location is perfect near to the city centre. Ladies the in restaurant most helpfull and paying attention to all the guests. The room with balcony very clean and with full attention cleaned each day. Swimming pool cosy. Lounge coaches on the side very relaxed.
Just a small point as recommendation one lounge for non-smokers with light astma.
Overall with all compliments and thank you very much for all great services.

Good central location. You have to be careful that access by car is controlled by municipal police cameras. It is better to communicate the license plate and the model at the reception. A few years ago it was renovated in the rooms but not completely, so some rooms are dated. Free Wi-Fi. Available and cortes the staff, good lunch and dinner, but can be improved however the buffet of the side dishes and breakfast. Small but clean pool and tidy.

It is impossible to find a free parking nearby.

The Staff were very helpful and the rooms were good, but breakfast was disappointing.

Pros: clean room and friendly, helpful staff.
The bad: I had booked a quadruple room I was given a double room attic as well to which were added two beds making it impractical. I had also asked specifically when booking the parking lot but it was not available.

Nice city hotel. Very authentic and very real as the name says. Good starting point for excursions in Tuscany.

Very convenient to downtown. Friendly and clean. Bathrooms to update. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice sweet or salty.

Cleaned the room every day.

I was real for a short holiday in the hotel on June. We were greeted by the owner who gave us to see also lots of information about the environment and things. We booked a superior room. It was pretty big, a minibar with drinks and a large TV with several channels for foreign persons with balcony and terrace, (and there are also sunbeds! ). Buffet breakfast in the morning was amazing. We wanted to try their restaurant one night: by that time, we ate there every day. Very good Italian and Tuscan food, good selection of wines.

I stayed at this hotel from 24 to June 29, 2013 and I had a great time
good location, friendly and very helpful. Cosy rooms clean and spacious. Perfect restaurant service and food. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is, in so many ways, perfect for the American tourist. It is located an easy 30 minute train ride from Florence and, therefore serves as a great "home base" for the several days it will take to really see Florence. This town is small, but not rural. Access to sights, shops, and restuarants is walking easy. The serene calm of the front, red-tiled, walled patio is a welcomed break after a day of fighting to see David. The food, while not haute, is very satisfying, and the staff — — to a person — — is warm, welcoming, and efficient. This will be the hotel to which I will return on my next Italian adventure.
