For those of us who want to spend a weekend in Florence this hotel is perfect, a few steps from the station, in the historic center … turn the corner and you are already in Piazza Duomo! We had a great time, very nice staff, the large and quiet room, breakfast in a beautiful frescoed room (if you want you can also do it on the terrace) … what else to say? we would gladly return 😊

Great welcome but the deluxe room did not respect the photos seen on the various portals. Cold and noisy room … Improved. Wonderful personal breakfast room whispering to colleague thanks goodnight to the not very elegant exit to hear!

Nice hotel and friendly staff.

The location is extraordinary, in the center, a stone's throw from the cathedral and the station of Santa Maria Novella. The environment is also particularly captivating with a classic style that makes the stay in the structure even more pleasant. Finally I find the value for money to be excellent, I absolutely recommend going there if you intend to stay in this beautiful city!

Atypical hotel at the level of the rooms! However, very very noisy, you hear the street, and everything that happens or is said in the rooms.

I would highly recommend this hotel for the very central location, to the cleanliness, to the excellent and very well stocked breakfast to the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff. I had asked, if possible, the room with the bathtub and have me satisfied also, in the evening, to return, we found a bottle of sparkling wine with the souvenir… fantastic! will definitely be back.

Hotel Paris. Close to all the sights, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio… Train station is 10 minutes away. Very friendly personel. Always a pleasure to come back to. Breakfast buffet is very good. Rooms are spic&span. Grazie mille. I especially appreciate the kindness of all the personel.

We have been looking forward to returning to Hotel Paris — and were not disappointed — it is all we remembered, and more. Lovely rooms, perfect location between the station, the Duomo and the market. The breakfast is excellent and in what has to be the most beautiful dining room in the city. Please don't ever change, we will be back again, I hope!

Here with 2 friends to celebrate my husbands birthday. Very friendly, helpful reception staff. Who welcomed us warmly. We booked this hotel because of it's location. Close to all the interesting sites and buildings.
The rooms are delightful, as the building was an old palace all the rooms have high ceilings, some with ornate plaster work. The breakfast room has the most amazing fresco painted on it.
The beds are comfortable with good quality linens. One thing I would say, like most hotels. Never enough coat hangers!.
On our 2nd day we went out for a drink and a meal to celebrate is birthday, on returning to the hotel we discovered the staff had put a bottle of Proscecco and 2 glasses in our room.! (the chambermaid must have mentioned the birthday cards in the room!. )
All in all a very comfortable hotel and definitely one I will return to.!

Very nice staff, I had passed for a amarcatura on the muffler. If I find Necceraita in the future we ripasero gladly.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Paris during our visit to Florence. We are in our 20s but didn't want to do a hostel. The location is perfect. Close to majority of the attractions and the train station. You can walk everywhere. Breakfast is your usual European continental breakfast. I gave it 3 stars because the hotel is a little outdated and the space is not used efficiently. The staff were helpful and speaks English, French and Italian. Our overall experience was good. You can't beat the location!

3 night stay while in florence. It was a great location. 5 minute walk from firenze smn and central to the major tourist sites. Elevator doesn't reach the top floor though so I got a good workout as I was on the 5th floor. Front desk is super helpful and friendly.

The Paris hotel is ideally situated and within easy walking distance of all the main sites, and less than 5 minutes walk from the rail and bus station. We asked for and got a room with a view of the Duomo (room 336), though it was only a partial view. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, and all spoke good English. Breakfast was good, with a good selection of croissants and pastries, as well as ham, cheese, cakes and tarts, and fruit. Coffee although from a machine was surprisingly excellent, there were the usual fruit juices as well. The building is old, and consequently some things like the plumbing are a bit ancient, we had difficulty with flushing the toilet which needs 10 minutes to refill once used. The shower head was too high for my wife to reach and adjust the angle, and the bath had no hand grips to assist entry and exit. We were there 3 nights and the towels and sheets were not changed in that time. The window was stiff and difficult to open and close, as were the outer shutters. But with both inner and outer shutters the room was quiet. Overall this was a reasonable hotel, and we enjoyed our stay, but there are room for some improvements. We would stay again.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was fine and the location was great. The rooms were constantly very noisy however, as the windows don't fully seal (and we were on the top floor! ). The shower was little more than a slow dribble which was horrible, but worse it would only stay in one position or it fell off the wall. Cleaning staff knew about this, and they kept moving it from the only stable/usable position when they cleaned because it had to be contorted to an odd position for it to stay on the wall, but they would change this position, then leave it laying neatly on the side of the bath when they clearly couldn't get it back on the wall again.

Nice place, but the heart of the city.

Nice atmosphere and a good breakfast buffet. Ask for a cappuccino at the bar instead of using the coffee machine. It tastes much better.

Three star hotel but 4 stars from me. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. Nicely situated near the train/busstation and city center. Just the coffee at breakfast must get better. We had coffee in nearby bars (drink it at the counter for the lowest price).

Beautiful hotel with easy walks to all the sights. No AC and hot. Lots of stairs to the rooms. I mean LOTS!

This was our first trip to Italy. What can I say? Amazing! Florence is beautiful, the people friendly and the Hotel Paris was fabulous! The staff were friendly, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. Cleaned daily, air conditioned. The hotel is in the middle of the city centre and is easy to get to all tourist attractions and local side streets where bargains can be found. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if/when we return to Florence. If you ask me to rate out of 10, then 10 all day long.

Old building had its charms (high, painted ceilings). Room was clean enough. Thermostat was locked at 25 degrees (77 fahrenheit) and Wi-Fi was spotty. Bathroom was very nice and clean. Location was great for getting to the Duomo and central tourist attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

My stay was very good, Room very good and clean. The breakfast great. The main point the desk staff were wonderful, taking care of me when I left my ipad behind its near all the things I needed to do and see thank you Dominic Nolan.

Interesting but not modern. Most hotels are converted from residential buildings so is this one. Very central location, however low levels of comfort. It is expensive but then again Florence is an expensive city. If location is what you are looking for at a reasonable price compared to other hotels and don't plan on spending much time in the room this is a good place.

Very Large Room and good location, the Hotel inside is a real maze. Con: the elevator is far too slow.

The most beautiful and elegant hotel that I've seen so far. With very spacious rooms, and large, with tea table windows. It is located in the heart of Florence, 5 minutes from the Cathedral Santa Maria di Fiore, and 5 minutes from the Duomo. In addition, from his window the latter may be. It is built on a Renaissance palace, with the typical features of the time. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Easy to reach if you travel by train, historical structure and well maintained, a rich breakfast served in a room by the atmosphere of yesteryear.

I've stayed in 2 of their best rooms. Great location! Great views! Wonderful staff! But the hotel itself is falling apart a bit. Airconditioning is hit or miss. Elevator is tiny and takes FOREVER. Water stopped working once in the middle of the night. Long story. Still, might stay here again. Oh, and mini bar is well stocked and cheap.
