Simply awesome and in the centre.

Worst experience. My jewelery was stolen from the room. Misleading hotel management (even in such case). I recommend to stay away from this hotel.

Our room was robbed. Awful management took no responsibility for it.

The best place, elegant impecably clean great staff, reception on the second floor. The only eye sore is the rug as you come off the elevator. Amaizing breakfast included. One ponte to Ponte Vechio. A +

Very nice hotel, excellent welcome, possibility of paid parking… indispensable! Stunning views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. Only downside breakfast is served a few steps away in another building, but on sunny days it's not really a problem.

I loved this hotel. Perfect location, wonderful staff and possibly the biggest room I have ever stayed in.

Great location, friendly staff, great value for money. We stayed 2 adults and an infant in a double economy room for 3 nights. The majority of other rooms in the hotel has undergone renovation, but a number of rooms on the main floor have not yet. Our room was a bit dark, as it had no external windows except for the window in the door to the walkway, but we liked the historic feel of the room with the 4 meter high gold plated ceiling and firepace. Would highly recommend.

Great location and the staff are sooo helpful and friendly. Gave me a great map on checkin with all the things to see. Small room and definatley more on the older traditional side from a decor perspective, but you're not coming to Florence to hang in the room right!? I was traveling alone so space wasn't my priority. Would stay here again. Breakfast was great with hot food and fruit, cereal and pastries and just a max 15 min walk to most of the major sites.

I spent here one night, is in a vintage building along the Arno, you access and you climb to the first floor, seems to enter another era, place of great impact! Great room, high ceilings, large window on the river, jacuzzi and dream bathroom!

The photos announced by them do not correspond to the reality is a hoax. When I booked I thought I was going to find the best hotel on my tour of Italy and it was the opposite because of their misleading publicity. They only advertise photos of a few rooms that have a superior category and when you arrive you find rooms of a roadside pension. Very old and small rooms but that if at a price of a four Estreñas hotel. The room heater is not working properly and the Wi-Fi is bad. The buffet did not serve them they send you to a nearby bar though if it is very good breakfast. Tiny TV. In the bathroom bad smell and very little water flow within a few minutes I ran out of hot water. Nothing advisable this place I will at least never come back.

We stayed two days in the hotel, the attention of their staff very attentive and dedicated, at all times well prepared to provide information about the city and its tourist spots. Amazing breakfasts, plenty variety of products to choose from and repeat as many times as you want. It has a very nice view of the city, especially the one that gives the Ponte Vequio. However, the Wi-Fi connection, directly, did not work and would have to better the bathrooms.

I went there 2 year back the location is good and the staff are nice.

The hotel is okay, one part just finished renovations. Unfortunately I stayed in the old part! Breakfast was great, definitely above 3 star hotel. Eventually coming back.

Very quiet, lovely room, helpful receptionist, breakfast included was buffet and better than at many Americans hotel. The interesting thing is that you need to insert the room key inside the room to turn on electricity so very eco friendly.

Beautiful building, ideally located on the edge of the Arno and 2 steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Place de la Seigneurie.
The only downside is that the bathrooms deserve to be redone.

Wonderful location, great service, breakfast offers real Italian coffee (not Nescafe). Get a room with the river view, it is worth the extra cost. Rooms are large and not very interestingly decorated, pretty stark but bathroom is excellent and large in the river sided rooms.

A fine place to stay with a good location and helpful staff. A GREAT breakfast was included. One of the best we had in Italy. Hotel itself could use some updating and has weird showers.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from Piazza della Signoria, a characteristic hotel made from very conservative restorations of a historic building on the Lungarno.

Great location but shameful to call it hotel, dirty and poorly kept must thank the unsuspecting tourists who unfortunately captain us, the room where I stayed the N 12 is little more than a stable, great breakfast because operated by a local behaver run by other Company.

I have stayed two nights and I have loved it. The staff is very friendly and they helped us in adjusting the booking with short notice, we appreciated the flexibility. The location is super good, free Wi-Fi is available, and having some excellent breakfast along the Arno river was just amazing. I would definitely make the same choice for my next trip to Florence.

We stayed one night in this residence. We booked a suite. We were on the 3rd floor, overlooking the Amo and the bridged Vecchio. The suites are luxurious, the bathroom equipped with a bathtub with jets, a large shower. The bedding is extremely comfortable. All the rooms are well maintained. The staff are professional, some speak French at the reception. We took advantage of the parking service for 25€ from 12h until 3pm the next day.

First room had numerous bad plumbing issues, second room lacked functioning ac.

We visited Hotel Bretegna in February. Loved the ambiance and overall experience. Staff is helpful. Breakfast provided at the nearby restaurant is very nice with variety of food.

Stayed at Palazzo Alfieri by Hotel Bretagna. Suite is simply amazing — sleeping under frescos ceiling. Breakfast outstanting. The perfect stay in Florence.

3 star hotel situated on the 2nd floor of a 15th century palace right on the Arno River. The rooms are huge and well furnished. The bathrooms are clean and provide everything we need including a gigantic shower, lovely. Wi-Fi is everywhere even inside the rooms. Breakfast is delicious and served not in the hotel but in their bar on the Lungarno. They have everything from pecorino and parmesan cheese to cereal to tiny pastries to fruit. Very good. They also offer a parking service at 25 € a day, quite competitive. Best location and very good price. Dog friendly.

Very kind! The rooms are old but clean. You can see awsome view every morning. And breakfast is nice.

Very good hotel and I as a guy from Dubai rate it as a 4 star hotel with the Suits/Rooms which in the new building (#2).

Everything was fine with hotel until I had to pay the bill, I told them what I had out of the mini bar and settled the bill, when I returned home they had charged me extra money! I have now contacted my credit card and they are now dealing with the matter. Beware.
