Been there for a night, unlike the pictures the room was small, stinky and lame. Hostess nowhere to be seen so we got stuck with no one to complain to. In short, we got ripped off.

Not a bad hotel and the service is very nice but I think there are several details to consider. As for example the room that says to be of marriage, they are actually two beds together as well as having individual sheets. We had to ask the receptionist to at least change the sheets. The room is nice but has a window on the ceiling that shows a fresco on top of another wall, in short, not very well as define it exactly. Finally, the room and the lobby are very nice but the entrance to the hotel seems to be taken out of a horror movie.
In short, with a pair of new mattresses, a couple sheets and a renovation of the entrance, I'm sure it would be the perfect hotel.

The host was very kind, I had requested e room with a view and it was offered to me. The view from the room is stunning, the location is very good, the room is big and comfy. Well heated room, with a safe. Everything is perfect, value for money, I would highly recommend this b&b. Well done guys!

Very spacious. Strange smells in the stairways. Big ceilings hard beds. About 80€ per night.

How much does it cost to buy the place.

Huge room with fresco ceiling, beautiful … Super comfortable room in a palace of the fifteenth century, with a fresco in the lobby, which is equipped with tables for breakfast and couches and a fireplace in a appropriate furnishings, very nice. The owner very kind and helpful. Fantastic location, very central. Impeccable cleanliness, well-kept everywhere. We stayed in today and yesterday, my family and I and we have gone via melancholy for having to leave Florence, wonderful city, and this wonderful b end b where it seemed to have the comfort and familiarity of their own home … With the hope and the desire to stay there again …

OK, five stars might be generous. But this is Florence to me. Reminds me of living here 20 years ago. You get keys and are able to let yourself in and out. Our room was really big and very clean and well-kept. The thing you need to be aware of is that this is an old building and not a modern hotel: this is old-school Italy. If you're up for that you couldn't do better. The women working here were fantastic and made great recommendations for us. Everything was clean. Our bathroom ceiling had a mold issue. But seriously: 17th-century fresco on the ceiling of your ceiling and a view over a garden to the Arno!

I go often to Florence and I always come back again to San Frediano Mansion. It is a magical, with its location lets you move around at home in this magnificent city. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and hope to come back soon. Kisses to Tiziana and all the staff.

We got a room, number 9, really too small and dirty. Dusty rugs as well under the bed. Bathroom small and dirty. However their are very friendly and location is good.

Great location, clean rooms.
