Historical Hotel of Merano a few steps from the center. Great for those who want to stay for short periods. The rooms are a little outdated and dated but clean. Very good location.

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had lunch there on the day Merano flooded with tourists. The place’s real local, almost no tourist at lunch time. Food was very nice and good price. Service is good.

It is an old style hotel, with large marble staircases (no lift, alas…), an immense lounge decorated in Tyrolean style where we have eaten great breakfasts for quality and quantity of sweet and savory food available.
The bar/restaurant, open to those who do not stay in the hotel, has been renovated and is in a much more current style.
As a great location, practically in the center a step away from the markets, the spas and the various walks.
It has a secure inside parking lot.
The rooms are in style with the rest of the hotel, definitely retro, but spacious and a cold chain.
The inner halls and corridors that lead to the rooms make you think you are in an old castle: elegant but a little gloomy…
The staff kind and friendliest in everything except the old owner who is kinda… On his…
I would gladly give him a half-ball more if it were possible, since the hotels too modern I prefer those more… Vintage!

Great hotel in the Centre of Merano. It is not modern but its added value is the centrality and the parking space.

At our arrival were in the bathroom already many hair on the floor, in the shower and on the sink and on the toilet. In addition, moldy in the shower in numerous joints. After "cleaning" the next day had not changed, which is why we complained. After this complaint, we were of the responsible Person as a liar and portrayed extremely disrespectfully treated. The Reinigungszustand was for about two days a little better, then returned to the routine again, keeping it now, Yes, only our own hair and no longer that of the previous tenant. The Breakfast we had in two days with sparrows parts, the at the Buffet served. I was already in many Hotels in Europe, but this was with distance the worst!

Old but very interesting Hotel! Very good location, friendly hielfsbereites staff, excellent Breakfast. We should once again to Merano go again we will sleep there!

Hotel Graf von Meran is very bad quality for its price. I stayed here together with my girlfriend for one night for € 80, —. When we entered we should have known better, since we were welcomed at a chaotic reception desk full of papers and other mess. The room was spacious but everything was rundown and dirty. The safe didn't work, the water in the shower and the sink did not run away and there was a rotten banana in the fridge. We were very tired and decided to stay anyways. The breakfast next morning was not much better. When we arrived we had to turn on the lights ourself and there was no coffee present. After about 10 minutes other people had arrived and somebody came asking what everybody wanted to drink while standing at the entrance; not very chique. The breakfast itself was very sober and not fresh. This was the worst hotel I ever had for this price.
