The La Giara is situated a 10 minute stroll from the centre of Nicolosi and its range of eateries, bars and restaurants. Our well-furnished room was clean and comfortable with a balcony that allowed views of the sea in one direction and Etna in the other. The TV for somewhat temperamental for no apparent reason! A simple, yet adequate buffet breakfast consisted of fruits, croissants, juice and coffee. The host was friendly and efficient, without being intrusive. Off-street parking is available although you need to be confident on the width of your car on exit into a one-way street.
