Professionalism of receptionists and hotels where relaxation is at home. Great breakfast and nice rooms. The only downside is the lack of maintenance at the SPA. Urgent renovation but overall I recommend and suggest the hotel's offered packages.

Bathroom review. Breakfast just enough. SPA is ok. Considering the price, I do not find it the height. Disappointed!

Located right next to the historic center of the city. Pleasant atmosphere early 900. Large rooms the right, at reception nice people and always helpful. Breakfast more than good. Dinner doesn't always live up to the hotel's rank, especially for The Sweets. The small indoor spa but equipped with everything you need to spend a few hours in full relaxation. Recommended.

We stayed here 2 years ago and decided to come back.
It's a great 4-star hotel, although we think it would be a bit to renovate.
But considering the prices and considering the spa, it is well organized and pleasant.
We had quite a good time, as two years ago, we were also given a central room, on the village square.

The service at the reception I didn't really like…
however the main waiter of the Restaurant is really professional and kind, even for him I decided to give 4 stars.

We chose the package that included a night multiple spas at the grand hotel and one at the Tessitora estate in Nice Monferrato with a visit to the vineyards, the winery and wine tasting.
Very good experience at the hotel, clean and spacious room, friendly staff, varied breakfast, relaxing the Roman path of the ternes. Definitely great at Tessitora.
We were welcomed and accompanied in the best way by prepared and very helpful staff: the winemaker who took us with the jeep directly between the vineyards, the winemaker who was able to make good wine appreciated even to an astemia like me, also thanks to the rich buffet prepared by the very kind lady of Genoa, it seems to me Gina to whom, for the care given to us and for the rich breakfast prepared, I forgave the fact that I am not of Sampdorian faith like me… and certainly Mr. Lorenzo who has taken care of and coordinated everything in person in a precise way with great attention and availability.

We were in 3 girlfriends today for Spa Day, for other in the last years will be the 5 6 time we go once taking advantage of the package girlfriends and we always have a great time, but today it was not so we started with a very dirty locker room full of hair everywhere and the trash cans still overflowing with trash probably still on the weekend. Also zero personal to explain a minimum of path. I am very sorry also because with 40 euros input a minimum of cleanliness would take.

Would definitely stay here again. Nice room overlooking the Piazza. Breakfast and entry to the baths included in our package. Nice robes provided. A little worn but clean and comfortable.

The pleasant welcome of the thermal baths inside a structure embellished by an ancient and always present charm, oils a splendid memory even following a very short stay. Added value The highly professional staff extremely courteous and helpful. Congratulations.

I was very disappointed! Since the change of management it is a catastrophe! A considerable increase in the price of the Roman route currently at €40 per person! Luckily I had taken the €99 Pack except that I thought we could benefit from access to the Spa the next morning… Since it was 2 days and 1 nights…
And not 1 pass for 2 and if you want to go back; €40 per person! Without any additional services compared to the old management! Knowing that you are answered "before the course lasted 2 hours 30 mins! It's completely wrong! I am a regular and my husband and I spend the afternoon!
Increase completely unjustified. The structure is run down, the shower in the tiny room, no Wi-Fi working, the bed hard the awful cushions!
A breakfast with croissants hard and without tastes! A staff is barely polite! But especially this disappointment compared to the Spa which previously had an affordable price as well as massages! Now a massage is offered at €85 and believe me this is not deserved! To offer such exorbitant rates you have to bring a quality service! That is not the case!

Fixed customer. I always gladly return because the waters of the spa are a cure-all. The recent management has increased the prices without however giving something more to the level of services or comfort.

For a 4 * hotel with SPA I expect to find at least the water in the minibar and the opportunity to make me a herbal tea. The restaurant is very poor, not to mention the SPA… in the hammam even the shade of salts, showers broken and full of limestone in fact by showers a minimum pressure. The Insufficiante staff (only one person who did reception, escorted inside the person, dried the water… ect). Too bad because the structure is there but needs small steps and maintenance that unfortunately are not done.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and very professional staff, great food, on the floor of the rooms a wonderful Spa, highly recommended.

Great food although I would have preferred to dine on the columns room as from chosen package instead of on the breakfast room. The spacious junior suite but absolutely not by 4 stars. Horrible bathroom with cracks on the ceiling and with a really small shower cubicle. As far as the spa the pool and pretty. Best to go there when there are a few people so probably in the week, avoid the weekend (very chaotic! ). There are 2 saunas in the standard and 1 very spacious Turkish bath and 2 relaxation areas.
1 star because on the sheets, although they looked clean, we found hairs to check out paid water and two euro dinner kicks 10 euros more surprise than 20 euros for rose petals in the room that when we requested it by email we were not told it was Ro fee.
I personally did not spend a weekend relaxing.

Legendary hotel, it is in much better condition than I recall from 6 — 7 years ago, wonderful way of warming up in mid winter, sitting in a Thermal Bath with snow falling outside, Acqui Terme is a town well worth the visit, great restaurant and friendly people…

Great hotel in central location and indoor spa with thermal water. Recently renovated classic rooms. Flat-screen Tv, bathroom with wall-mounted hairdryer and minibar. Only the shower cubicle is more than 3 * * * than 4. Nice staff, clean rooms and generous breakfast (sweet and savory). The bathrobe, a towel and the slippers are provided for the SPA (proven on Saturday afternoon with admission 15-19: More than enough time and very relaxing).

It's changed for the worse… Increased price for daily entrance to the spa of almost 50% but not even the services! I booked for two people entrance to the SPA (attended several times in the past) for the price of €74 (without bathrobe and aperitif) for 2 pers. Against €50 of only a year ago, with bathrobe/slippers Kit + evening aperitif included. In the swimming pool is no longer obligatory the headphone with the risk of finding you hair in the pool!. Until it changes nothing I do not recommend it at all there is better in Piedmont! Although the beauty of this place remains Tate and also the employees who were very helpful and professional. Too bad…

The rating is good but not great, since booking the service is not the best. Access to the spa is not included, but there are also no towels or bathrobes. They didn't warn me on my arrival at the check in of the lack of these services to be able to add them if I needed them. I had to ask. The food and breakfast are good but not at the level of a 4 star. TV of the years 90, and set of courtesy a bit gaunt given the level of hotel.

Looking for relaxation ended up in nightmare clean and tidy rooms, very spacious. Excellent location for any need!
Before my arrival I spoke with the manager of the reception for a package hotel Terme (Lake of Springs) is he I confirm the whole thing and that he would wait for my arrival, a few hours later I introduce myself to the hotel he already had all the cards ready, I read the whole thing and asked de A spa and I confirm everything. Until the next day I thought I would go to the Spas outside the property, but the manager had made me the package with the spa of the hotel!
Before I came to the head of this thing I had already gone to the other facility I had already checked out at the hotel!
A complete misunderstanding from the staff in the hotel and what they offer you have their guests!
And as if all this was little I had to go back to the hotel to clarify with them, arranged the confusion make me go to finally take advantage of the spa at their property pity that the time available was only 2, 30 but that in fact I benefited Only 2 for all their casino!

A relaxing morning with swimming pool with whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath, frigidarium and chromatic shower at €28. Relax room with herbal tea, pity there was not even a biscuit. Slippers and bathrobe made available by the hotel. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately it is not worth the 4 stars. At the price paid by us via Eurospin certainly agrees (89 EU x 2 people on half board with entrance to the SPA), but at full price absolutely not. Over the course of a few years there have been 3 different administrations and this makes it clear that the will and the potentials are there, but the costs are probably too high.
Excellent location, impeccable cleanliness despite the quite vintage appearance. Modest Spa, but in week you find max 10 people so you can really relax.

Decent hall for conventions. Nothing special.

Staff could be friendlier. Reception unhelpful. Rooms clean, a bit small. Bathrooms tiny, shower only. Does have AC though. Staff at the spa unfriendly.

The hotel is located really near the train station and the city centre. The room was nice and tidy. The staff was welcoming and nice.

The spa on the first floor was great and I enjoyed 2 visits. The hotel was central and it seemed like everything was only a short walk away, including an incredible number of excellent restaurants. However, the room was very small, the beds were quite uncomfortable, the hotel's restaurant had a pretty poor selection of food and was the only place in Acqui Terme we encountered where the staff could not speak English. Overall I would recommend visiting the spa, but finding another hotel to stay in.

Once Grand hotel today three stars are too many. Thermal water and not even talking about it. Good vegetarian toast.

Day spas, or at least that was the idea. Without that there is nothing written on Groupon, without say anything over the phone during the booking process, we arrive at Acqui, pay parking for the duration of the spa treatment (or so we thought), we arrive at reception is there supposed to be with Groupon voucher than without, length of stay in the spa is up to 2 and a half hours including time for a shower. How to plant is not bad, although we are used to the best with the Pre Saint Didier, but give a time limit for a moment of relaxation reduces the effectiveness of the latter. We tried but unfortunately, despite the convenience of proximity we would not go back. Not recommended.

The room we were given was not half bad, if it weren't for the terrible discomfort of beds, plus a welcome surprise to have some Sky channels directly in room (albeit from the reception they said I do not know because we could see them). Dinner was good, although the caliber of the hotel I would have expected more about their own care. Honorable mention for the breakfast buffet, very varied and suitable for everyone, as well as good. The SPA is really pretty, salsobromoiodic tub is very large and the environment is clean, shame about the room "just relax" (although due to the rudeness of customers to, however with a few places available) and be a little left to themselves, since, although we had been assured that we would have someone who we follow We reduced to having to chase the (I assume) responsibly and to follow a piece of paper hanging. We only used the baths of this complex. And I mean really bad. Thankfully we went on a Tuesday because they actually aren't very big and there are plenty of facilities. Tub, hot water, sauna, steam room and cold water are just these tasks.

Old fashioned hotel in the city's heart. Staff and service is good, while the room aren't the best at all. Restaurant and food so and so. Not bad the spa available for the customer.

To be a 4 star not made me crazy. The rooms were nice and clean enough but not great. The spa inside is nice but it was a little crowded. The buffet I found it rather good. The staff very welcoming and helpful.

I loved the spa to its interior, reasonably priced, clean and well organized. Ideal for a day of relaxation.

We took advantage of a bridge Bank holiday, taking advantage of a nice offer found on booking. Let me start by saying that our goal was to visit a town unknown to us so far and use a good spa. So far everything went according to plan: the Spa at this hotel and definitely cured, clean, well designed, even in the face of a large number of guests which passed in our other similar experiences proved tragic: in the pool there is for example an obligation to put on your headset and no guest is brought in if none comes. At the entrance you are welcomed with full explanations of spaces available and excellent location. And we come to the negatives. Presenters at 13 we have been told that the room was not ready, we have little worried as we were still having lunch. We have been asked where we had parked referring only as further news that the next day the parking would have been chargeable in that public out of blue stripes.
Once lunched, at 14 and 30 went back to the front desk where once again we have been informed that the room wasn't ready (comment to support: "we can wait until 15 so we're on time"). At 15 the room was still not ready only to find that the nurse on duty had forgot to report it as finished.
Got into the room.
My personal notes: carpeted corridors a little lisa and certainly not very clean.

For the second time my partner and I decided to go back to the grand hotel as enjoyed in the spa staff very nice, pleasant and helpful, hotel clean and staff available for us good and we return I recommend it to everyone.

Holiday experience "baths" even though I was a little disappointed with the room: a 4 star Hotel with a ingresso\reception like the grand Hotel Nuove Terme can't have corridors with the old carpet and lisa and minimal as the one that happened to me and my wife (though I imagine was part of the Hotel for decades. ).
The location is wonderful and the staff in Acqui Terme is very friendly and professional.
I recommend it and would probably come back.

A good and gracious welcome, perhaps a greater "comfort" bed frame, with mattresses of equal size to the networks. Altogether a staff service good thermal path is on the desk.

Good morning
We spent a weekend in September 2014 by purchasing a complete package. Aside from the perfect spa experience, I am deeply disappointed in regards to the room entrusted to us. Request missing bathrobes in the room, we had to wait more than half an hour as the staff informed us that you forgot to perks. By the same staff told us that we had no right to pay but, as empty minibar. And later there was filled. For finirte our sheets had holes in them at various points and a fine Cobweb from the sink and came to the shower. Of this last part we noticed only the next morning, with the light of day. Before we left I paid all due, in no small I assure you, and then I pointed out the problems to the kind in charge of receiving, who introduced us to the deepest apologies.
I tried to make a nice surprise for my partner's 40 years. The spa staff and massages were nice and professional, but I made a poor figure with the room. I've never had such poor service and for sure I won't go back. For a birthday surprise ruined, there's price.

I stayed twice in this structure, one at new year's, and both with gift box Smartbox. In both experiences I had a great time, would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy a few moments of relaxation.

Overall really didn't live up to expectations; to emphasize the true quality of thermal waters, healthy but, undersized swimming pool.
Room quite adequate, catering, we have relied on in the old town.
As I read the previous positive reviews, I would point out then that someone like me, has visited several in EN, CH and in F, it may be that whoever is excited, it is more for the novelty.

Very nice experience, shame it didn't last long! Hotel spotless, relaxation area kinda crowded. The only thing ke I didn't like was that to enter both in the Turkish bath, both in the sauna there is supposed to remove the slippers. Made me kinda sucks honestly. I could take any type of fungus/warts etc. The hot and humid then. Though it was an intoxicating experience! SO RELAXING AND WELCOMING. Clean and very nice. Very friendly and helpful.! recommended! I'd do it again.
