Beautiful place, very nice staff. Very good wine and delicious supper.

Lovely vineyard with nice rooms, good breakfast and great Barolo.

I said I would write an honest review when we checked out so here it is. We stayed for a couple days and the ambience was great and the staff was very friendly. The view on the vineyards is astonishing. The fact that this place has a pool is a big plus, because you will really appreciate the opportunity to relax and cool down after seeing the land and visiting wineries. There is a real sincere rural experience about this place, also to thank Paolo for that, who works the vineyards and tending the grapes while we are staying at the casine. We will be back for sure and/or would otherwise see if we could order a few bottles from abroad.

We stayed here for two nights on a visit to the Piemonte region of Italy. Casino Meriame is a guest house attached to the Paolo Manzone winemaker. Our room was very comfortable, with a large bed, en suite with shower (no bath), as well as a TV and AC. I don't know if the latter is common in Italy but it was very useful in August. I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped everything was, and even more so by the lovely balcony. Although the guesthouse is on a hillside there aren't views from most rooms. There is a pool although we did not use it. There are some nice other touches like the welcome glass of wine. There are wine tastings available too which are open to non guests at €10 a time — well worth it for a good hour and a half with 6 different wines. The hostess spoke good English too. All in all a great place to stay with a friendly hostess and a comfortable but nicely decorated room.

In a 1700 's farmhouse, surrounded by the vineyards of Barolo cru Meriame, we were greeted with courtesy and kindness.
The farm, which only offers bed and breakfast, offers its guests a wonderful panorama towards Castiglione Falletto.
Pool, wellness area with Jacuzzi and sauna complete the welcome.
The highlight remains the cellar where Paul Manzone presents its wines, produced according to the Piedmont tradition.
