I found Hotel Du Lac for another time superb. Comparing it to other five star hotels in Ioannina, I believe it located in the best place, by the lake, with exceptional view. Personnel is very polite and courteous. Outdoor pool ‘s water was crystal clear. Spa was fully equipped. Breakfast was amazing. Apart from the usual five star food, they served traditional local sweet and savory delicacies, such as pies, pastries, etc. Drinking your wine in hotel ‘s bar with the lake view and good music was a great experience. I strongly recommended it for business and leisure. It also offers free parking outdoor.

We were welcomed very handsomely! The room and bathroom was very clean the food was good, not very expensive for this area. I do not know the cost of the rooms as we are on a Trafalgar tour!

The property is amazing great views, pool is so inviting the lake and mountain views are spectacular.

I used the spa and booked two massage treatments, one for me and another for someone else. The spa facilities (jacuzzi, indoor pool, hamam) were impressive, in fact, beyond my expectations. However, I was very disappointed by the inflexibility of their use. I arrived at the place one hour before my massage treatment. However, by the time I filled out the form, they showed me around, I got changed, and I had a shower, I only had half an hour left to use the spa. Then they came and asked me to come out of the pool 15' before my treatment, because I had to have yet another shower. I offered to swap my massage slot with the slot of the person coming next (who was happy to have my slot), so that I could use the pool and jacuzzi for another half an hour. I said that she would be there in 5', but they insisted that it was already too late and that she would also need to fill out a form, and that their next appointments would be delayed. It's worth noticing that I was the only person at the spa at the time and I noticed nobody coming afterwards (at least an hour after my massage treatment). Also, I was not allowed to use the spa facilities after my massage, presumably because the oil would remain on my skin even after having a shower. Unacceptable.

Nice hotel and an excellent view to the lake. But the room was too warm for mid April. We got there for a conference near by and although we were there earlier than check in time and asked for a room to make our selves comfortable for an hour, they told us that they did not have any available which is hard to believe. Overall they showed no flexibility or tension to help us. Very polite staff on the reception but not friendly!

Excellent! Very friendly staff, delicious food, comfortable and clean rooms, plus there’s a pool and a bar. Oh and its the most family-kids-friendly hotel ive ever been to. (+toyroom)

Lovely place, amazing location, very comfortable bed.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Greece. The facilities were perfect, the room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly, polite and accommodating, even considering we had an infant and the associated trouble they bring. It's a fair walk (20min) from town, but good for walking off a heavy dinner. There is adequate parking but not much shade for the cars. Breakfast was a wide selection that should satisfy most diets, including a bottle of sparkling wine for those who like their morning to have a little fizz.

A truly five star Hotel and Congress Centre.
