Having spent many times visting Milano for work and pleasure. I must say this hotel is one of the nicer places great friendly happy staff. Currently staying here with my partner and 4 other friends. Thanks to all at this hotel staff for making this stay enjoyable.

Clean! I appreciate seeing how beautiful the Hotel was inside.

Staying in the executive suite. The TV wasn't working at check-in and had to be replaced after 30 minutes of troubleshooting, Wi-Fi was not working and a technician had to be called, an iron could not be sent to the room for "fire code reasons. " the Turkish steam bath in the suite was not working and the poor maintenance man had to be sent back again. He was wonderful. The only positive.

Milano is an amazing city with an extensive history and much of the history can be viewed and experienced. The Westin Palace provided us with an excellent central location and superior accommodations. We were able to walk to many of the historic buildings or take a taxi. Either way, we enjoyed shopping and stopping along the way for gelato, espresso and lunch as well.

Very nice hotel, in typical Westin style, located conveniently close to the central train station. Rooms are well appointed and clean, and the staff is very kind, welcoming and helpful. Business center is good, but the restaurant could definitely use some improving in both selection and meal quality. Still a very nice place and a very pleasant stay, made even better by the great staff.

I've been in. This hotel for a course of several days. The period-style hotel is really very nice, unfortunately it lacks some details not from 5 stars. Courtesy bathrooms often without soap or with broken soaps, the fixed-price restaurant with formula all. You can eat not. It's up to what it offers, it's true 40 degrees and you eat what you want, but. We always talk about buffets and not. Sure of a la cart menu made from fresh fish!

Wonderful agent when checked in. Room was dated even though reservation specified a modern room. AC however did not work well prevented me from getting a good night sleep. Food at rest was very good. Rest manager and staff were kind.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a wing that had been finished for only two weeks. Very nice room, but no coffee in room available, some outlets did not work and bathroom sinks had only hot water. Our party took three rooms, only one included free breakfast, we were not offered a membership in the point system as our companions were by a different clerk. For over 300 Euros a night, I expected to be treated better than we were.

Nice, although dated but always nice. High Quality environment. Also beautiful location, P. Zza della Repubblica is just a step from the central station, the Metro is immediately there and, wanting to walk a little, you arrive in the center in 15 minutes looking at the windows of Via Turati. Also the kitchen is very cared for, the lobby is wide but cozy. The business rooms are nice and equipped.

What you expect from an upmarket Westin hotel although multiple issues with staff contributed to an overall negative experience.

Definirlo Hotel è dire poco infatti appena si entra dal cancello esterno una persona molto professionale ti accoglie poi con mille sorrisi nella hall ci sono altri lavoranti che aiutarti per ogni tua necessità. Si è poi circondati da marmi bellissimi color Champagne ed anche il profumo che si sente è decisamente affascinante. Ottima anche la posizione in pratica in Centro Città in pratica Vicinissimo alla Porta d'Europa (Stazione Centrale), si raggiunge in breve tempo anche la zona Brera e il quadrilatero della Moda.

It’s a 5 star hotel in Milan. I give 4.5 stars right now because for the price I’d consider staying elsewhere next time. The service was 5 star and I stayed in grand contemporary room. It has nespresso machine and mini fridge w/ a tiny place to put 2-3 cans of your own. Here are prices of some of things I bought: — water (two bottles given free per day) -additional water from fridge 8euro 1 liter — free shoe shine — shirts presses/laundered 15 euro each — hamburger downstairs 25 euro -cocktails 16 euro I ended up buying new shirts for 20 euro from Zara and HM vs paying to have them laundered. My business covered hotel room and I got great rate around 235 euro. My room normally would have been 1k! It was nice but I’m def not in the league where I can drop certain amounts on basics. I’ll update later if I change my mind or have additional thoughts. Also free gym was nice but small. Overall very expensive nice hotel … Armani would be next step up.

We just arrived today. Very good welcome, all what I noted before they did. Helpful stuff. I had some technical problems in the room but it may happen everywhere next day they will fix it hopefully in general the hotel deserves the full what you are going to pay.

No! The food in the restaurant is not acceptable the past fruit the dry dessert made of those ni prefabs also the salad was fresh, the cooking of the meat is the terrible fish everything was inedible. The place is nice however the excessive price for what it offers.

Very good hotel, it is not far away from Milano Centrale. I had the Grand Contemporary Room, which was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. In room dining was arranged quickly and the Burger I chose tasted very well. Additionally I want to mention that the ladies at the front desk and the concierge were very kind and helpful. Overall, a nice experience and I'm looking forward to staying at this hotel again!

Extra luxury hotel in the heart of Milan, in a dominant position on the Republic Square and in any case a few steps from the central station. Inside each paeticolare is well cared for. Very knowledgeable staff. Recommended for those looking for the top.

Good location and comfortable stay in a spacious room. Staff are super helpful and accommodating… A perfect heritage property in Milan but please don;t go for heritage type of room It was so horrible, comparatively normal one is far better. Subway & taxis widely available at any time.

Got in early evening for only one night while on our way down to Rome from the Lake Como area. Got a nice room upgrade as a result of our high status with SPG. It did take a bit of time to cool the room down due to the heat outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful as well as spoke English. Always a nice perk! Bar and restaurant area look very European. Breakfast in the morning on the 1st level mezzanine terrace was wonderful. Nice selection of items to select from. Would absolutely come back again.

Really a very classy hotel with a big impact lobby. I attended a company event in quiet and comfortable rooms assisted by very courteous staff. Convenient to even walk to the central station. The prices of course are adjusted to the class of the place.

Our delegation have ordered many rooms, I just ask the gentleman at reception, to help me keep a package at the reception for a while, and after 1 hour our colleague will pick it up. The gentleman named GIAN LUCA refused me even though I have given him the name of the guest, the name of the guest who has already checked in, he says these to me "you can leave it here, but I am not responsible for this". "Wait here until they reach" "This is the italian way" rudely, loudly, irreverently, unceremoniously, no respect. Finally I patiently proved who I am and all the evidence of our delegation, he agreed. After my colleague picked the package, he makes a phone call to me, and again rudely, loudly, irreverently, unceremoniously, no respect. This is the first time I hear from the reception saying these hurting words, but in order to be polite, I choose not to quarrel with him. Because I believe that this happens only a few, I hope Westin can improve the way to treat the guest, and also, help guests to solve problems, but not use the rude way to refuse.

The room we have is impressive with great views — although it was last decorated in the 1980’s … the unfortunate thing is the smell of drains in the room which they can’t get rid of. Breakfast really isn’t worth the money you are better off eating out. I am disappointed for £400 per night — definitely NOT what I would call 5 star …

Good location and comfortable stay. Staff are super helpful and accommodating. Just a little disappointed the shower was one in a bath as opposed to a proper shower.

Classy structure located in the center of Milan served by Metro and a step from the central station. Great meeting room.

This was a really nice stay, don't be fooled by the drab exterior of the hotel, inside the rooms are very fancy. Had this hotel not been in Italy I would say too fancy, but it seemed fitting to the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful and although not *that* centrally located, there is a lovely park nearby and the walk into town isn't too bad.

Beautiful hotel with Renaissance-style rooms. Definitely feels like a 5-star hotel. It's not right in the middle of Milan, but is only about a 15-min walk from some sights. Some of the staff is a little difficult to communicate with, if you don't know Italian, but they are friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel with great, compassionate staff. Large, clean rooms. The entire hotel smells fantastic. This hotel location is perfect for tourists as it is close to the major train station and metro (ATM) lines and a short walk to several shopping areas.

Qiute far from being a 5* hotel, in my exeprience. All you get is the elegant design. My room was dark all day long, the curtains were stained badly. The breakfast was poor in choice and not delicious, even the cappucino in a cofeeshop down the street tasted better than in the hotel. Not impressed with the staff either, nothing special at all. If you need an iron, forget about it, they will offer you their pressing service instead due to " safety reasons". People who rated 5* I guess have never had a real 5* hotel exerience.

A very nice place to stay. I was going to give 4 stars but gave 5 stars due to the effort of one of their staff members Giovanni. Emirates had let us down with a transfer to the airport but Giovanni rang them and insisted they pick us up. Well done Giovanni, a very nice man and went over and above for his customers.

Guest for a social event held on the terrace at the top of the hotel. Very nice and luxurious place where you could relax and waiters always ready to serve. Terrace capable of keeping motle people without being full. Reception at the party very professional and leaves a good impression.

The hotel and the rooms are well placed and nice equipped. The service is on parts ridiculous, sun terrace not serviced on a day peaking 29degrees, concierge all day did not managed to arrange pedicure in spa, and on final day could not accept already stamped cards as there is no postbox within the area. The 25€ breakfast is worth 10, but what can you say when they charge 8€ for 80G pringels in minibar of 400£ a night suite?!? Can't recommend that hotel, 15 other 5stars for sure will offer the expected service in that class.

Great hotel, there's delicious food and great service! All the staff here are all very well, but we are lucky to have a better staff, they are eating breakfast and encounter Alesia and Antonio, Carolina bar and we check in and out when I met two lovely ladies in the front office. They have provided us with an excellent five-star service, thank you! Hotel only a stone's throw from the como Avenue (we ate delicious to Como Avenue, there is a lot to recommend food), walking distance from the hotel to the Milan Cathedral (far more here than go to Como Avenue), when the weather is good you can walk. If you don't want to walk, there is Metro station near the hotel. Hotel is near the train station. The room-we were upgraded to a room with a steam bath, cold bath you can warm yourself up in it. Thank you very much this hotel we had a good time here.

Nice hotel near to the city center, very good restaurant, and the breakfast buffet is not huge but it's not bad either. You can have real cappuccino and fresh croissants. The personnel is very kind.

Stayed 8 nights for business across different rooms. Don't know how much bribe was paid to the inspector for this hotel to get a 5 star, 4 at best. Under invested, dated and lack of facility would be an understatement. Gym is the same size as a public toilet for the homeless. Breakfast is a sadistic joke for €40 and a terrible prank for the 'special rate' of €25. Having said that service was good and the outside does impress the escort you are bringing back.

The service — — from the front desk to the spa to in-room dining — — was great, and Giovanni could have not been more helpful when I booked a table for our party at The Club Milano discoteca on Saturday night. I really appreciate his assistance. I work for a tech company here in New York City that specializes in hospitably, so as someone who is familiar with guest service, I was very impressed. Gorgeous hotel! But way overpriced. And for what you pay for the rooms they should at least feed you breakfast. I felt nickel and dimed the whole time. €8 for a coffee?! That's insane. We'll never stay in a Westin again. Even HOLIDAY inn express gives you coffee and bagels.

The WESTIN is not the WESTIN, the hotel is pretty tacky, the restaurant is very weak, Spa missing.

Im rating it 5 stars, it really deserves more than 4 stars. The room is really nice better then I expected its really big. Me and my family came there we had 2 rooms because we are 5 people and the rooms were awesome! I broke the WI-FI so we had it for free I'm not going to tell you how but I'll tell you there is a way. The price is expensive (its not for poor families).

I'm giving this hotel a 5 because it deserves to be ranked higher than 4.1. If I could pick my specific rating, I would rate it a 4.7. Great location. Very helpful (and English speaking) staff. My room was much better than I expected. It had lots of extra details like trim on the walls and different sections of the walls painted different colors (in a good way), that Westins in the U. S. Do not have. I assume it is because this location is called the Westin "Palace". Either way, nice touch. My room was big, as was the bathroom. I am writing this from Villa D'Este on Lake Como, which has the reputation of being possibly the best hotel in Italy. I'm in an end unit suite with a full view of Lake Como, and frankly speaking, my room at the Westin Palace was nicer than this one (not as great of a view, as you might expect with Milan vs. Lake Como). I would recommend the Westin Palace, especially for the price compared to other five-star hotels in Milan.

We had a nice stay at the westin milano. The service personnel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been recently renovated an look very stylish although it's a little bit too much. The big bathroom all in all was clean, but it seemed it wasn't cleaned for a long time. For example there were stains in the tub. The media system is very state of the art. The main Cons are the prices: if you grab yourself a coke from the minibar it will cost you 8 € — in the lobby it's even 10 €! In my experience there has to be a bottle of water in every room and for every day — for free! not here. I took one from the table when I arrived, it cost me another 8 €. You couldn't make yourself a tea or a coffee: a normal 5* hotel needs to host that kind of stuff! And don't be to excited about the location: you have to walk 20 min to the duomo and co. In conclusion: it's a pricy bit of milanese cake you're starring at! But it seems that milan is pricy anyway.

The place is exquisite and stunning. And the food and drinks were the top quality — just delicious. But they were eye-wateringly expensive. Also the AC did not work in our room. And the bartender overheard us discussing restaurants and rushed over to recommend one he happened to have a card on hand for. It was mediocre and full of other guests from the same hotel so there has to be an arrangement there. Dont make the same mistake.

Beautiful hotel and quality for the guest.

Stayed in a huge room with marble everywhere. This must be the "it" place to stay after seeing the Rolls Royce and Bentleys from Dubai outside.

Breakfast at 37 Euros-that's cool! Water first strongly smelled like bleach! Then like the smell disappeared. Parking auto 45 Euro per night, although for 15! Inside the beautiful! Room rent under half day workshop cost € 1500.

Excellent hotel, though expensive. The restaurant is quite good.
