Staff is extremely helpful to these 2 non Italian speaking Americans. Just arrived a short time ago but the room is fantastic.

Design but not always convenient. Bedroom: big enough. Bathroom sink too low. Bath not easy at all to clean die to the material. I don't know what, but a petrol smelling is present. Like for any cheap Chinese product. Not great. A message is here to prevent us to ask to change the towels too often but we have nothing to put those when wet… Too cold even without the A/C. The thing really cool was the massage chair. Ok not a great and expensive brand. But that was cool to use it after a too long day. That won't replace a real massage but it's nice to have and to test. Bed is correct. Breakfast area: a tiny place. Tables really low. Small things to seat. Lack of space. When served in the main small room don't take a place close to it or you'll be in the path of everyone. Good quality of products. I'm used to more choices but that was fine for two days. You can't see it in the pictures but most of the walls and equipment are black. The bathroom is all black. Not that common. But interesting. The location is ideal as close to the Gallery and the Dormo. But a bit noisy. People never sleeping. Then the trucks for delivery, cleaning and others.

I was only at the bar which is very cozy, great cocktails even the mini buffet that make available very good there are not many food alternatives but all in all the bar to make the aperitifs is perfect, great place out with the sofas on the street give q "I really like the low sofas like sitting on the floor, " he says. Really good I'll be back.

Stayed here with my wife for two days, amazing hotel. Great location, literally next to the Duomo/square. Concierge is very helpful from giving recommendations to see the city off the beaten path to even upgrading our room and adding free breakfast when she found out we were on a baby moon.

The hotel is bad in every way you could think of. The decoration and style is outdated and very old including the rooms and facilities. Service was terrible too. Our safe wasn’t working and they couldn’t fix it until the next day and we requested Iron they didn’t have it claiming that they have high number of customers. The breakfast was below below avarage or simply, bad. They also told me that the portable Wi-Fi is free included as long as you use 2 devices max but later on, when checking out they asked for 5 euros. I don’t know how even Starwood hotels accepted to put their name with such a hotel. It clearly doesn’t represent their standards and destroys the brand reputation. The only good thing about the hotel is its location as it’s right in the center amazing location. Most of Milan attractions are within 5 mins walk distance.

Great designer hotel with cool rooms in the very center of Milan. Awesome location for seeing the must-see sights and of course the very best of shopping in the immediate vicinity. Hotel Cafe turned into fancy bar in the mate afternoon with DJ and tons of people. Slowest check-in and checkout I've experienced in a long time, and not the place if you look for peace and quiet.

Stayed at Straf hotel in Milan between May 31 and June 2. Pros: Hotel staff were efficient and accommodating. Good location as it is near tourist attractions. Cons: Hotel room while artistic, is not well-designed; the room is painted black throughout making it looks extremely gloomy. And because of the dark room, dust and dust mites are visible. Housekeeping service needs improvement as room remains unkempt even after cleaning service. Because the bathroom counter space is built at knee height, there’s a lot bending over when I needed to use things that are placed on it.

It's time to make a stand! Surely we live in an age now where a decent hairdryer shouldn't be hard to come by? A 4 star hotel shouldn't be providing their guests with a "Barbie doll" hairdryer that has 2 speeds!

Besides that hotel is also bar/bistro and restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen is good. The menu is not very large but there are always a couple of types of salads, two or three first and two or three seconds, as well as the typical dishes of the place that are a salad and a hamburger. For the location where it is located (30 meters from Piazza Duomo), the quality of the service and the kitchen The price is correct (max 20 euros for a plate, water and coffee).

We had a room, in which the shower thermostat did not work, my spouse burned. A technician came but the language barrier. It's not easy. The room was all black.
We were changed rooms, and we slept very badly because we had the impression that the air conditioning did not work and set at 17 ' C, we had to sleep the window open.
The only place it was cool was on the landing and in the hotel lobby.
The breakfasts for my part were not up to the 4 * * * * at the end of the stay, the people who cared for the luggage were poorly organized and struggled to find our luggage that had to be stored in a room and ended up in another Room.
Only positive: the hotel is well located because in the city center of Milan and 2 steps from the Duomo (roofs of Milan) and the Scala, and ultra chic shops (type Versace, Prada, Gucci, Dolce Gabbana. )

In the center, a place all in all quiet. Where to have a drink. Too bad for people who sit at the tables without title. One more eye to the clientele would be pleasing.

Beautiful, ultra modern design hotel, located at steps of the Duomo. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Everything that is needed is there to enjoy a good stay at Milan.

Nice place full of young people, I stayed there for lunch and I enjoyed their carbonara with artichokes, the service was a bit slow but I wasn't in a hurry and I had time to speak with my colleagues.

Stunning location. Somehow too hot in the room even in February…? I had to leave the windows open in 40°F weather all day to get the temps cool enough to sleep comfortably at night.

Very interesting design, but mostly made good by the staff who are simply excellent. The room was comfortable, but a few functional quirks do suggest form over function is the main design driver. Large comfortable bed. The breakfast is simple but good quality, with a good variety of choice (cereals, croissants, bread, bacon, eggs, Italian hams, cheese, fruit — there really is something for everyone. Recommended.

Cool location! Here the bear steps, when most bars in Milano Centro are already tight.

Pedestrian Area, if you arrive by car warn the reception; They serve you area C and avoid the fine.
Small, design, with very special uniforms that do not undermine the courtesy and the availability of the staff.
Maybe too central to be fine if you come to Milan to work but perfect for those who do tourism. Next to a lounge bar, right if you get bored.

Local in a beautiful location, but exaggerated prices for cocktails made hastily and a drink difficult to reach given the small size of the room.

Ridiculous and almost inaccessible aperitif thanks to the usual jerks that block every access point, very little space in general, loud music, impossible to sit, dear and not at all good cocktails. The only nice thing is the Dome view.

It was extraordinary. With a post-modern architectural design, the attention is very good, as well as the quiet atmosphere and the location, near the Duomo.
But I had an extraordinary experience putting "to the test" the integrity of the staff.
I forgot in the safe the cash I had to continue my trip to Rome. After contacting me to recover it, staff of Straf Hotel was present at the hotel I occupied in Rome for Alcanzármelo, in a gesture that I wish to emphasize very specially.

Among the historical wonders, the visit to the Duomo is obligatory. There are several entrances, on public holidays the entrance to the Duomo is free but the accesses to the terrace are closed. You can also attend the Holy Mass.

I had a great happy hour at this place. Great food and nice music and staff. Small but cosy location in Duomo. Happy to have discovered this place. I only tried the bar and the happy hour with unlimited buffet, but this place is also a hotel. There are two entrances, one for the hotel and one for the bar.

Great hotel, rooms are well equipped, location is tripple A and staff goes out of their way to create a friendly and warm experience. New favorite in town! Recommend one of the 6th floor suites — great. Thanks.

We didn't have the best start to our stay, air-conditioned didn't work properly and the reception staff was cold to deal with, however we spoke to Eugeny at reception who was an absolute gem and turned our experience to 5 stars. Would definitely come back and stay at the Straf! Once again, thank you for an outstanding service from Eugeny! We appreciate everything you did for us!

Straf is awesome, rooms are unusual and artsy, there's a Bluetooth speaker TV with premium channels a bar next door and it's right next to duomo. Milan is so hot right. Now but you would not know it the air con is perfect in the room. Would recommend.

Best high end hipster bar in Milan, I love turn in here. The outside seating bench is one of the most comfortable spots for intimate discussions and drinks.

Designer hotel, very cool but when design prevails over practicality and ergonomics the result can be affected. On the aesthetics don't get on the merits, it is a matter of taste, but when you put a bit to figure out how to make things quite banal, type put to recharge a mobile phone, or to hang the towels in the bathroom, is a clear sign that design prevails over ease of use and maybe even common sense.
Otherwise it's a great hotel, with a service quite up to it with everything you'd expect from a hotel of this level.
P. S. The first time I made even struggle to understand how it came out, because I assumed that the lobby doors open automatically and you need to push, but smooth and without handles, as they have been designed, it is hard to Intuit.

It is the best hotel around because: it is new has a good location has a parking, not expensive cool design the only minus is the sounds outside made by town services at night.

This hotel is over-designed to within an inch of its life. The toilet roll in the bathroom is so discreetly integrated into the fittings that finding it becomes like an episode of the Kyrpton Factor gone wrong. There is also a passive-aggressive list in each room informing you that the bathrobes (none of which were present) are actually for sale, for a mere 150 euros a pop, and if they find one missing after you've left, they'll assume you wanted to purchase such a coveted item and will debit your credit card. Meanwhile, the hoodie-wearing staff are too cool for school and the wrong side of laid back. The hotel's one saving grace is the location — in a side street next to the Duomo. But if location is what you are looking for, try The Gray, just opposite.

In Milan we visit every six months. Tried numerous hotels, but Страф absolutely the best in this category. Excellent design, super-comfortable beds, functional lighting of rooms, there is everything for a comfortable stay. The hotel is in the heart of Milan, all boutique street in walking distance. Excellent continental Breakfast, fresh fruit, strawberries, pineapples (in season). Service super. Generally, try not to regret.
