Good ambiance, nice view, friendly service, food not so good.

Had a great atmosphere for watching the World Cup. Unfortunately, whilst paying our bill we saw one of the (very polite and helpful) waitresses taking a carbonara, in plastic packaging, from the microwave and putting it into a bowl. Very very disappointing to see that that was what we’d just paid €12 euros for. Would 100% never ever eat there again. Quite a shame.

A very pleasant spot right on the lake. Good food and pleasant staff.

We stayed in a different hotel but ate in the cafe. It’s a great location right on the lake and the food was good. Good selection of drinks and a nice ambience. Nice outside terrace however was a bit rainy when we were there so we sat inside.

Great location on the piazza very good prices and the frizzante is great.

Nice restaurant and bar. Awesome location in the center of everything. Try the beer.

I frequent it as a winter bar, clean with multilingual staff, nice and friendly I always go back gladly.

Only for the view. For food, choose an another place. Solo per la vista. Per il cibo, scegli un altro posto.

The pizza we ate there was horrible. I was looking forward to eat my first Italian pizza of our holiday and I was very disappointed. The mushrooms were from a can and the service was very poor. We could not pay with our card because, and I quote: the Wi-Fi was not working. I will never eat there again.

Pizza's were OK, pasta was terrible, microwaved or reheated as had hard bits of pasta in it. Would not eat here again.

Comfortable room over looking the piazza and lake. Great central location and has parking spaces as a bonus.

Great romantic place hidden on the side of the Como lake. On the right of it is brilliant place with delicious homemade ice creams.

We took a drink sitting at a table outside on a beautiful square of Menaggio. There were four of us and we've been served a bowl of chips. Spritz was tasteless.

It's always nice to have an aperitif in this beautiful square of menaggio. Only the place deserves 5 stars.

Just popped in to have lunch… mediocre pizza, good toasty, cheap salad caprezzi. Will sell you as much water as you can eat. But won't give you any!

Hotel Du Lac Via Mazzini 27 22017 Menaggio Lago di Como A true find, this place is a keeper. Clean room, very clean bathroom and everything worked. The bedding was comfortable, the balcony overlooking Garibaldi Square and Lake Como from the room was over the top. Here is the bonus, the hotel rooms are above a café bakery and the aroma from 5 AM on will drive you nuts. The coffee is the best. The hotel is an easy 5 star location and the family that owns it runs it. They are kind, very efficient in all you ask. The price for the stay w/breakfast was very reasonable. We have made new friends here. W. Tully Austin TX.

Charming little hotel on the lake. Great location clean rooms good service. Parking is a bit of a problem. Recommended.

Didn't really hate it. But the hotel's managing staff (Gilberto Benetta) was extremely rude and abrasive. His mannerisms were classic Italian arrogance. He addressed me publicly in a rude tone and made for one terrible night and dinner! Don't put your feet up outside or they will crucify you.
