Review of Relais Villa Vittoria 4*

We finished our honeymoon at this hotel and WOW what a place! It was tranquil, relaxing, romantic and luxurious. The panoramic views of the lake were amazing and beautiful to look out at every day. Our room was beautiful with incredible views across the lake. It was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We loved sitting out on the balcony watching the boats go past. The hotel itself is just stunning, with the large common area on the ground floor very relaxing and cosy. We loved playing a game of chess in the lounge and listening to another guest play the grand piano. The Turkish baths were a highlight, and we were lucky enough to have them all to ourselves on one of our days staying there. It was very relaxing sitting in the spa. The restaurant was gorgeous and the views were to die for. We had a private dinner on the terrace arranged for us on our first night, and they decorated it so wonderfully it felt very romantic, with candles everywhere and romantic music playing. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. One thing we did that was another highlight was the private cooking class with the chef. This was a great experience and afterward we enjoyed a huge cheese platter that was the best of our whole trip! For dinner, the chef cooked the pasta and tiramisu that we handmade in the cooking class and it was delicious and special sharing our own creation. The staff were all really helpful and attentive, and gave us plenty of recommendations and help when we needed it. We loved exploring the Lake Como region and found the hotel was a great base. It was easy to get to Bellagio by bus and ferry and Como by bus. We enjoyed long walks around the lake to the neighbouring towns too. Thank you so much for everything, we just loved this hotel.
