Excellent place to explore Bergamo. A Bergamo is a great place to rest one day before departure from Italy. Accommodation is located on the border of the "upper" and "lower" town, near the funicular. It is a simpler but very interesting accommodation. I recommend it especially for travelers who depart from Bergamo after a visiting Milano or a afret longer tour of northern Italy. Bergamo is the proverbial sweet spot at the end. Accommodation is a great place for those who drive by car (a parking space can be booked) and for those who drive from Milan by train or bus (I recommend the train). The owners are very nice and helpful — advised us 2 truly excellent restaurant where we had a great lunch and dinner. Directly in front of the accommodation is a bus stop, from which the buses (city transport) run to the airport — you are on airport in 15-20 minutes.
