The location is tranquil and peaceful. Free parking is conveniently available close by.
Check-in was quick, and the host was welcoming.
The room itself was nice, made of wood with a traditional touch.
The bed could be more comfortable, and the room cleanliness could be improved — the bedside lamps were quite dusty, and there were visible spider webs around the roof base, especially in the bathroom.

We loved the balcony, and the facility’s in the shared kitchen.
It wasn’t very clean, but we told the owner and he will work on it. The noice of the highway, and you hear the people in the other rooms. I would recommend another kind of chair, maybe wood, that makes less noice of you move it.

Good location in an alleyway just off a square at the top of the town. There are three apartments over three floors with a shared kitchen on the ground floor. Spatious rooms and a friendly host who met me at the property. I was travelling by bicycle and was able to keep my bike outside in the small yard at the back of the property, locked to the gate. There are a few handful of restaurants in the town within ten minutes walk,.
This is no fault of the property, but there is quite a lot of road noise from the motorway that passes near Masone. I expect this is would be similar in almost any property in Masone. The yard could be made much more attractive to cycle tourists if there was something sturdy to lock bikes to.

After a week in budget hotels transiting Europe on a Round The World motorcycle trip, this was a taste of home and a comforting stay.
I could not fault it.
It was exactly what I didn't know I needed.
Only sad that I could only stay for one night. I would like to return to tune out and distress.

No negatives here. I had a great stay.

Positive: Nice renovation. People really took care how things look. Negative: Due to highway works correct exit was closed and navigation made merry-go-round in night Genova. Then it was narrow 1-car wide tarmac rising 600 m up to the tunnel which was closed. Instead of 21:30 I got to the place at 23:00 just to realize that I need to pick the key from another location 1 km away. I was regretting I booked a hotel in this location. But it is not the hotel’s fault. The room lacks power sockets, just after renovation, in 21th century. One socket under the table, another in the bathroom, both difficult to access. Shower cabin space was sacrificed to a bidet.
