Breakfast salon, its food quality and waitresses hospitality excellence is a must to remark. Great ambiance and grandeur spirit. Unfortunately I’ve been assigned a great room with a romantic balcony but no closet at all. Restaurant terrace by night — and eventually fireworks as I had for Repubblica Day — is gorgeous. Small but delightful dishes. Loved its location in order to easier connection with other charming places.

Hotel equipped with all the comforts of a 5-star luxury in a friendly and familiar atmosphere, very romantic, ideal for a holiday in.

Given what you pay and that is a pentastellato we expected at least including the car parking instead costs 25 euros per night …
The whirlpool is with very hot water, we reported it but it changed a little and we had to go out.

Small room without balcony and wardrobes and little soundproofed. Positive note very large TV (only channels with digital terrestrial).

What an amazing hotel, every aspect of the stay is thoroughly thought through. The staff are exceptional and definitely add to the experience. Very central to the train station as well as the passenger cruise terminal. When visiting Genoa again we will definitely return to this hotel. They showcased the best of Italian hospitality.

Location is great, right next to the train station and walkable to all the sights of Genoa. The rooms boast what seems like 12 foot ceilings and all the bathroom amenities are top shelf. We would definitely stay again. The breakfast was also excellent.

We were surprised with an upgrade to a nice room with a large tub. Don't miss the wonderful and widely stocked breakfast, or dinner!

What a fabulous hotel. Loved our deluxe room and access to the spas on the roof terrace and in the sauna area. Fantastic buffet breakfast in beautiful surroundings. Staff were very attentive and friendly. We were accompanied to our room as part of the greeting. Must compliment the housekeeping staff too who do a superb job.

The service and breakfast are very good. The view and the parking great. The hotel is already a little old but well received. The mattress was very comfortable and the room enorma. Genoa is a city with a lot of charm.

A in the historic hotel with a panoramic terrace which alone is worth the stay. The hotel has kept the hall and Alvuni period details that make it interesting and welcoming. It is located a few meters from the Principe station, one of the two main railway stations of the city, and is ideal to immerse yourself in a visit of the city between Old Town, palaces of the Rolli (UNESCO heritage) and ancient port. The hotel is equipped with a spa and a nice restaurant serving local cuisine.

A big pile of trash cans in the hallway in front of the room (and they answer me to the reception of a haughty air that is normal (?! ) )

Spacious and well appointed room. Beds were very good. Great shower. Breakfast was abundant and very tasty with a number of options.

Felt like 3 Star. Expect scrubby towels and old hotel! Lobby is nice and restaurant not bad but everything else is blahhh! Don’t even think about laundry it’s like $10 for a shirt.

Grand Hotel Savoia. Elegant structure, not modern. The service is at the height of the stars. They organize once a week a theme aperitif on the terrace, with music to dance.

Very good reception. The dialogue in French is easy with the staff. By booking a table in the restaurant located on the top floor, we have a very nice view of the port of genes at nightfall. In addition, the dishes are well prepared and appetizing.

Fantastic, exclusive hotel in Genoa with a jacuzzi on the balcony and great spa. Breakfast has left nothing to be desired.

Beautiful Hotel. Very comfortable and very clean rooms. Rich breakfast, with excellent quality food, and very varied: sweet, savory, fresh and canned fruit, fresh yogurt and coffee, cappuccinos, etc. Prepared by the staff, not by automatic machine. Very friendly and professional Staff.

Not sure how the star ratings in Italy work, but I definitely don't believe this to be a 5 star hotel. I don't stay in 5 star places often but when I do, I'm hoping for an unbelievable stay. I just didn't get that here.

Very good reception, the staff speaks French, just 2 steps from the centre of Genoa, the parking is a dear 25euros per day. The spa area is very good.

The Grand Hotel Savoia is ideal for parties, ricevimentil and important occasions.
The salons, the buffet solutions and other Contibuoscono solution make each event personal and memorable.
My feast of Dicciottesimo has been above expectations, it will remain a pleasant and unforgettable memory…

We recently visited Genoa and we're fortunate enough to stay at Grand Hotel Savoia. The staff was excellent and helpful. Located near the train station was very convenient. We were able to walk all over the city from the hotel's good location. View of the city from the rooftop was beautiful. Room was well appointed and comfortable. The window blackout shutters allowed for a restful night. If travels find us back in Genoa, we would again stay at this hotel.

Probably five stars normally however we had one of the two rooms on the roof and there was no air conditioning which might be a problem at some times of year. Otherwise a giant marble palace.

Fantastic! Wedding reception with reinforced aperitif. All the buffet was delicious, served by a efficient staff and very kind! All supervised by Mrs. Gloria de Palo.

The bathroom was very large, the bedroom was large enough. The bed was very comfortable. Wifi was poor, but they rent us a router, enough speed to stream a movie. Next to the main station. The housekeeping is not great. Good breakfast.

Amazing hotel near the train station. Very secure parking. Lovely, helpful staff and very delicious food choices. The breakfast was exceptional in the rooftop restaurant. The bistro grill had a neat atmosphere and the food was top notch! The room was perfect, including all amenities and was comfortable and spotless. Couldn't be happier with our stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights in this Hotel, everything really at the TOP.
Starting from the reception, with helpful and kind people, continuing with the room.
A Triple + cradle — very large room, well cared for and clean.
Also the bathroom was in good condition and with everything you needed, plenty of towels and bathrobes.
The breakfast has everything from fruit to croissants, pancakes, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, salami, cheese, cakes, pizza.
On the 3rd floor there was a small children's play area, with a "fake pirate ship" and a little room with a few games, great to spend some time.
On the top floor there is a furnished terrace with a beautiful view.
Only note of improvement in parking, in a luxury hotel should be understood and not paid (€25 day)

It was a very nice place. Excellent cleanliness. Friendly room. Great breakfast buffet with so much choice. Very convenient because very close to the station P. Principe. When I return to Genoa I will book again in this hotel.

I start by saying that I had booked on booking the Hotel Continental Genoa. Arrived at the address indicated, a sign warned that for check in you had to contact the hotel Savoia at 50 Mt from there. I found the entrance immediately. At the reception I have indicated that you can not leave to guarantee the credit cards prepaid (type Postepay). I solved the account immediately.
I climbed into the room with the elevator which I think is the only sore point. There are three elevators, one big enough, the other smaller ones that I don't think can hold the 8 people listed. The waiting times because the elevator arrives are a bit long (I waited even more than 5 minutes). The room I found very cured and well equipped with: a double bed, a wardrobe, a kettle to prepare herbal teas, desk and television. The spacious bathroom with window and shower. There is no hairdryer in the bathroom but you can request a more powerful hairdryer, the plate and other accessories at the reception.

Very close to the railway station. The staff is not that genial. The rooms are exquisite and large.

Enjoyed the stay with too good breakfast. Very Friendly staff, always available for help. No problem in late night check-in. They have storage facility.

Really nice location with breathtaking views. Live music nice idea given the location but all in all it doesn't excite me. Nice cocktails. Buffet scarce and of poor quality. We tried to build a chic and sophisticated forgetting details are not negligible, given the cost (priced) cocktail hour.

Welcome a little sparse, the staff friendly, the spa but miserable. Despite being in front of the station is very quiet. Great breakfast, late check-out all normal. Staff a little on her.

A one night stay and little x to form an opinion but anyway I will return maybe several days.

I am actually still at the hotel as we came for New Years celebration until the 4th. We are negatively surprised on an everyday basis. Besides the stylish building, for those that like that, there is absolutely nothing special about the hotel that deserves a 5 star rating. To give you an idea we were left with no hot water on the 31st and in trying to iron a shirt all the lights in the room went down. I could go on and on. Today at the breakfast they ran out of expresso capsules coffee in the machine… Altogether, even though at a very expensive rate, a very cheap hotel.

Accompanied by music, often live, is a lunch buffet quality.
The price is currently € 12.00 per person, with all-you-can buffet food.
Be careful, do not get all year, but only in some seasons: call before you go to make sure that there is an aperitif.
Sometimes it's a little too crowded.

We were shortly two times in the GHS. The Hotel is very stylishly decorated, the staff are very nice. The Breakfast is super! Happy again.

We went with the two dogs, and they were super friendly and attentive. The hotel is spectacular and the staff all very attentive and simpaticos. The rooms are perfect. We took a very rewarding experience and certainly if we go by Genova we will come again to this hotel.

A superb hotel. Opulent furnishings in exquisite taste. Excellent staff who are ready to help. An outstanding buffet breakfast of the highest quality. The most comfortable bed l have ever slept in. The room in general was excellent with a large marble bathroom and superb shower. The best hotel l have ever stayed in. Very highly recommended.

Beautiful classic Design, but in some Places, a little care is necessary. The High-Speed Internet connection was barely usable. But the price/performance ratio is very.

The Hotel Belle Epoque atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is made up of people of rare professionalism and kindness. A particular mention, but deserve all barman Philip who is able to prepare an Old Fashioned as it was once. Congratulations, really compliments, you see that the Hotel is well directed. I forgot to say that the breakfast is up to what I said before: great.

This Hotel is one of the Best Hotels we have stayed in Italy. Unbelievable service to detail. I am sorry that I did not take names to thank on this review. Lovely old hotel. Good location. Not far from the old port. Rooms in the style of an old palace. Staff very friendly. Breakfast with huge selection and nice roof terrace with views over Genoa and port. Like to come back.

We stayed here 2 nights out of a 6 night stay in Liguria, and somehow it managed to be both the best and by far the cheapest hotel of the trip. The room was modestly sized, but fine for the price. Amenities in the room were good, and included things like a kettle and complimentary mineral water which we didn't have in the other, more expensive hotels on our trip. The real highlight was breakfast — of all the hotels I've ever stayed it in Italy the Savoia easily had the best breakfast, a really lavish feast of interesting breads, pastries, cooked items, a really good variety of fresh fruit and lots more bits and pieces to choose from. Also there's a great kids play area (the pirates garden — with a pirate ship to play in) and a really nice top floor bar with a view of the city. Very conveniently located right next to the main station.

This was a totally excellent hotel with a staff where everyone was exceptionally cordial and went out of their way to assist me. My visit began with arriving in Genoa at the train station and finding there was no elevator. I called the hotel and explained the problem and they sent someone within ten minutes to carry my luggage to their hotel which was close by. The breakfast was also excellent and I truly felt welcome in this hotel. I only wish there were such good options in other cities — and I hope to return soon to the very unique city of Genoa and this special hotel.

I loved the retro Italian chic style of this hotel — it was like being in a 5 star time warp. I was lucky enough to be attending a conference at the Grand Hotel Savoia and found both the service and food superb. I particularly must thank the on site technicians who spent a long time with me trying to get my mac book to connect to the projector — in the end I had to borrow a laptop from the hotel but everything they did was efficient and with utmost politeness. The bedrooms are also charming with the complimentary water and free Wi-Fi a nice extra touch. On the top floor the hotel has a terrace which offers superb views of the city — make sure you check out the hot tubs up there! Overall a wonderful stay in a charming hotel.
