Definitely the people who welcomed us and then accompanied us to the room were really very nice. From the location there is a great view and you are a few minutes away from the lower part of Riomaggiore. Very quiet area.

The sore button is that the cost is too high for the room we were given, but being in the five lands we had to settle for what was available. Very small rooms and bathrooms. To get to the apartments, from the reception are about 20 minutes walk… hoping the elevator isn't closed. Otherwise I wish you all the best if you don't love walking so much. Finally I was irritated by the fact that I had booked room with en-suite bathroom, and to be told that they would give me a room with shared bathroom… then fortunately, as if to do me a favour, I am given the required room.

The place is shabby and very expensive. Its not clean either and the lockers were broken. I wouldn't recommend it.

Up a ton of stairs, find the elevator. More an apartment than a hostel.

Friendly staff, awesome views from living area. A little expensive but would stay again.

Bed bugs! Don't stay here! Not worth the trouble of getting rid of all the bed bugs once you leave.

Do NOT stay there. I paid 30€ for a shabby, unclean "hostel" with grumpy staff and the actual location is 100 stair steps uphill… plus there were bed bugs in one of our beds. I repeat do NOT stay there!

Dear, rude and unprofessional.

We enjoyed our stay in the hostel at first. It wasn't awful; the owner was incredibly unprofessional but not rude, and the stairs didn't bother us. But then we discovered the bed bugs. Covered in itchy bites and put in a horrible position of possibly infecting every other hostel and airbnb we stay in for the rest of our trip. Don't even take the risk; just stay somewhere else!

The owner of this place is without any doubt one of the biggest jerks in the galaxy, and that's because I have to remain polite here. There were plenty of beds left at his "hostel" for €23 on HostelWorld, so I didn't mind booking. When I arrived as a young backpacker, he said the hostel is only for "students", you will have take a room for €50. That's ridiculous, because, if I had booked online, he would have had no choice but to give me a bed for €23, so it's just a rip off he tries with people who did't book online. Of course, all that in the rudest and careless way possible. Just avoid this place by any mean, such a crook should not even be on Google Maps.

Great location, fair few stairs to walk up but it's fine. Wifi is not really existent except at night for a few hours (we suspect they take it from the restaurant underneath when it opens) clean and spacious rooms. Weird bed in the kitchen area.
