Review of Park Hotel Argento 4*

What a wonderful experience from the first moment you check in to the moment you sadly have to depart. We were greeted with a friendly smile and whilst we were just planning on leaving our luggage at reception they allowed us to check in early. The amount of information that is provided on check in is fantastic, from how to best see the Cinque Terre to doing hikes in the local area and the best restaurants in town. The staff are so lovely and helpful, even providing a free sh…uttle service into town and if you don't feel like walking all the way up the steps to get back you can give them a call and they will pick you up from town too! Once in the room we were amazed at how large the room was and it was spotless. The bathroom was immaculate and the toiletries provided were beautiful. The only thing that could be improved would be the hair dryer as they still use those ones that are attached to the wall. We are both fussy when it comes to beds and pillows but no complaints here, so comfy but that could also have had something to do with the day full of walking we did too. The pool area was lovely and the view was just gorgeous and with the sounds of the church bells ringing across the town you can't help but feel relaxed. The absolute highlight for me was the Turkish bath and the emotional showers which are fully inclusive of the room rate. I felt like I was in a day spa. The only unfortunate thing is that we found this hotel at the last minute and only had one night to stay as we have a booking elsewhere in Florence that we couldn't cancel. I would happily stay here longer! The town is wonderful and the people are so friendly, so much left to explore… we will be back to this gem!
