A great hotel with a top location and very friendly staff.
Grade a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and attractions such as Castel Sant 'Angelo, Spanish Steps, Vatican or Colosseum are all within 20 minutes walk.
When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the receptionist.
We have reached the hotel with the airport shuttle organised by the hotel. This one worked without any problems, but you can be taken by taxi to the hotel (30 euros instead of 50 euros).
The room was sufficiently large, air-conditioned and beautifully quiet due to the well-insulated windows. Everything was very clean and the bed was nice big and super comfortable.
We could enjoy the included breakfast in a café opposite. It was said here in advance that there is a croissant, a toast, a juice and a hot drink. This sounded quite unspectacular at first. In fact, this breakfast turned out to be a top. There were many different croissants, juices, toast and coffees to choose from. This is where the hotel really found a Topbistro as a partner. Awesome!
What was outstanding here, however, was the service for us. For example, the receptionist has. A table in one of Rome's most popular restaurants reserved for us. The service on departure was also grandiose. We checked out at 10:30 and stored our bags until our return trip to the airport in the evening. But since we were heavily drenched by the rain and frozen through, we asked if it was possible to change somewhere quickly. The receptionist did not organize an unoccupied room for us and additionally enabled us to use hairdryers and towels. He really saved our day. Here's a huge thank you again for that. Afterwards he ordered us a taxi to the airport transfer and a page even loaded our bags into the taxi for us.
Such service is usually expected at most in a 5 star hotel, but not in a more inexpensive one than this one.
All in all, a top hotel with top rooms and top service. If we ever travel back to Rome, then definitely go back to this hotel. We will also be happy to recommend the hotel.
