It's a great hotel. The guest staff. Clean and tidy. They passed the number at 11.00 and asked to leave bags until the evening to walk! Gladly agreed. I advise everyone.

This hotel is within close proximity to The Vatican. However, it is quite difficult to find this hotel and you may have to climb a flight of staircase to get to your hotel room.

Hotel Colors offers great budget accommodations in Rome. The private room we stayed in was pretty spacious and had a private bathroom. The air conditioner in our room seemed to be at the end of it's life. While it worked well the first night, it struggled to cool the room off during the remainder of our stay. There are also shared rooms on the upper floor. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke excellent English. They helped us book a car service to get us to the airport. Definitely use that if you need a ride, for about the same price you get a better service. The Wi-Fi was very good, maybe the fastest during our trip. Breakfast wasn't included and wasn't worth the 11 euro it cost for two people. The food options were very limited, you'd be better off going to a cafe. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colors, it offered most everything we needed at an affordable price. I stayed there almost 10 years ago and it was great to return. The services are even better than I remember.

Excellent Hotel I would say despite being a two star definitely deserves one more, thorough cleaning, friendly and helpful staff, the room was perfect nothing was missing every comfort available, service abundant breakfast with a varied menu from sweet to salty, It has a great location in the centre within walking distance of the Basilica of St. Peter and all the main attractions of Rome. Thanks to you my holiday was wonderful.

Very friendly and helpful staff and for Italian conditions very plentiful breakfast. Many sights are within easy walking distance. Bars, restaurants and shopping facilities are many in the vicinity. Overall highly recommended if you don't need the most luxurious.

Great place to stay a few steps from the Vatican. Not all rooms have bathroom in room so do this at the time of booking if you want the room with the bathroom. The staff was very helpful Ideal place also for friends with 4 legs since they are well accepted.

I was only here for one night but really enjoyed it for the short timeI was there. Well clean rooms with good shower and toilet facilities. Large area downstairs to chat to other travelers (althoughI didn't do this as I was too exhausted that night).

Small bed & breakfast. Felix and Anna, in the front desk, provided lots of good help. Rooms are small, and outdated. No elevator. They do have a nice deck in the 3rd floor, 2nd floor of the hotel.

Great value for money. Nice room and clean environment. Sky in room is included and the Wi-Fi works well. Towels and soaps are included. Pity that the breakfast costs so much, but surprise, in the room I found a bottle of wine and three Pandori.

We stayed here for three nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were expecting a hostel, but this is truly more hotel than hostel. The breakfast on offer is certainly not the best money spent, but it can't be beat for convenience! The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was surprisingly well appointed. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine — wine which would be better recommended as a cleaning solvent than as a beverage, but a thoughtful touch any way you cut it.

I stayed here in share bedroom during a weekend visit to Rome. It is well located. From here you can easily walk to the vatican city and city center. Close to several points of start for tours and an subway station. The people working there were extremely helpful and nice. It is a good place for low cost visit at the city. Good: location, service and aceptable breakfast. Bad: A/C didn't work well. The top beds of the bunks don't have plugs close by so you can not charge your cellphone or laptop while on the bed. There is no safe lock in the room or any lock place to leave you bags while while waiting for the room.

Very good experience the coast very reasonable and the staff very friendly and very clean I recommend it.

Good service, we catered super well, spacious rooms and large bed, in addition to the excellent location, muchis sites of interest less than 10 min walking and also help you with the management of the taxi to the airport.

We stayed at this property on the occasion of the 1 November bridge. Our room was on the mezzanine floor overlooking the inner courtyard. It was a very nice and helpful staff. The location is very close to the square.

The breakfast room is a tiny room where you do in turn to get in. They do not have sparkling water (absurd). The water is never hot.

I chose a room with balcony 10 square meters of hotel Colors situation in Rome. I chose that room SPECIALLY, (the pictures that were shown to me when I selected camera). Unfortunately, the girls from the reception gave me a room of five (5) square meters without balcony and no air conditioning in working order. I paid for a service that I have not received!. When I wanted to solve the problem the lady from reception (romanian one), replied: "Those are just some pictures and the description is not specified that has a balcony. And you can go if you don t like". Although in the pictures there is a balcony. I chose a room there, that I wanted and I paid it in full before… an I received a shitty room. I will not recommend anyone to use the services of Agoda or Colors Hotel! SHAME ON YOU!

The place was really nice and the service was great. It's in a very convenient location for walking to both the city or the Vatican.

It is close to St Peter.
The rooms are relatively small but very comfortable and clean.
Handy minibar in the room and the homage of the bottle of water a day.
The only fault I could find, is that there is no elevator.

The Hotel is in the prati neighbourhood within walking distance of the Vatican. Clean, nicely decorated, good amenities inside the room. I stopped just one night so I can't say more. Booked at a very advantageous price I recommend it to everyone. 3 stars because during the night, a boiler positioned on the balcony of the room 208 started making an annoying noise and I couldn't sleep in the morning instead janitors cleaners cackled and this for those trying not to get up at 8 to be a nuisance. In general I recommend it but try to get a quiet room. From your bed with the mattress to be replaced because a little saggy.

Budget hotel but very well looked after, great location and excellent value for money. Reception 24/24 very comfortable.

It is a small hotel and although from the street does not look like a hotel, but a building of homes, this very well. Newly renovated with free Wi-Fi and close to the vatican is a good option. But because of the size of rome, there is a good walk to the colosseum. The rooms are a normal size, are clean and cosy. On another occasion, he would return to the hotel.

The value of this hotel in city center of Rome (near the Vatican) is undoubtedly excellent. The rooms are clean, well decorated, clean, and spacious. The breakfast is hearty and at will! Go to Rome.

I had booked a dorm bed for three nights. When I arrived I was told that as I was 51 I was too old to stay in the dorm accommodation. I was offered a single room at a reduced rate but this still increased my costs by 75 euros. I was also liable for the first nights stay since I had not given 48 hrs notice! Feeling I was in a no win situation I stayed. Returning home I again scanned the website for the information concerning dorm accommodation age restriction and can find nothing! It is on the email conformation but you only get that after booking! The kitchens are small but nice but would struggle to cope with full occupation. The kitchen and terrace are the only communal areas and locked at 10 pm so its a pretty dismal in your room evening. The internet did not work. A poor hostel experience.
