At the heart of the city and has a lovely terrace with a nice view. Everything else is what you would expect from a standard four stars hotel.

What a scam! When I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my reservation does not exist (I had hired the hotel 5 months ago) and they want to refer me to another hotel from their same chain but much worse… Make sure first that you will not be overbooked from hotel… whether they do what they charge you to a superior hotel and give you another inferior hotel… so everything is beneficial to the hotel. In the end I had to go to another hotel from another chain and not stay overnight is their hotels because from 11:00 I arrived, it was 20:00 and I had no room to sleep in with my 11-year-old daughter. How well my vacation started! Thank you very much Hotel Pace Helvezia… I won't hire anything with you again…

5-star location, 2-star hotel! Interior urgently needs thorough refurbishment. Beautiful roof top, but for unknown reasons, they didn't even bother to place a bar or something on it. It would be perfect place for a night cap, glass of vine, cigar… but nothing!

Old "Palazzo" become in hotel with good halls and many mediocre arrangements. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. In short: MEDIOCRe.
Its only merit is a very good geographical location.

Pretty good place. Pictures spruce it a up a little, but still a nice hotel. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon and had a lovely time. I would for sure stay there again. Staff was nice and helpful even though we only spoke English.

Location Otherwise quite ok, the valves in the bathroom were not so great and it could have been a bit cleaner — but otherwise still in the frame, therefore: Recommended!

An excellent hotel, which has an unbeatable location, five blocks from the Fontana di Trevi, two blocks from Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum, a strategic point for every tourist. Regarding the hotel its rooms are spacious and very complete, counting frigobar and safes, the furniture is very good quality and its bathroom is a point to highlight extremely spacious and comfortable. The attention is excellent. Highly recommended to stay here.

Rooms are not properly clean, e. G. The cable from the Fön has not been abgeputzt for years.
Staff is not so friendly and overall the hotel has come very well in the years. Location is great though.

Very well received, hotel hyper well placed, right in the centre of Rome, close to everything! Nice rooms and decent breakfast.

Nice staff, hotel ideally situated for all attractions rooms nice enough lots of old character. However room electrics a bit to be desired, sockets not where they ought to be so ext leads are used and in our case 4 plugs in one socket obviously got different regulations to british hotels and dont bother with the free breakfast.

90 people, all double rooms, great touristic location where you can go walking everywhere, breakfast probably the least amazing.

No top bedding, noisy bed, breakfast limit.

Luxurious historical and well appointed Hotel, well organized and helpful employees. The only drawback are the rooms not overly spacious.

Room was small, interiors was old and used. Breakfast was not served on roof as it was shown on web page. But hotel is near to most visited places, so if you stay only for few days than it is ok.

A small elegant place in the heart of Roma, Friendly staff and air conditioned rooms. The staff were very accomodating and even had our rooms ready early.

Comfortable room with good in-suite air conditioning. Dated bathroom, but overall functional. Mini-fridge in room weak but present. Wouldn't trust it with food that can spoil easily, but fine for keeping drinks cold. Slight cracking of grout and mold in corners of shower. Good breakfast with great coffee! Friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel Pace Helvezia is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Rome. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The views from the roof Terrace are stunning! 6 minute easy walk to Trevi Fountain and 10 minute easy walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The staff are very polite and knowledgeable. The breakfast has a good variety of food.

A historic hotel in Rome, central and strategically located, with a great panoramic view from the terrace of the sixth floor. Very narrow rooms, at least has ours, with in the bathroom a little ' down and even the little one. A good breakfast and nice staff.

I'm sorry but from a 4 star I expect something more. He gave me the idea of decay.

Great location, view from fabulous rooftop terrace, breakfast plentiful and varies but; I don't understand why he has four stars. Surely if he deserved but, in the years 70. It is evident that the require structure of important renovations. The room was cold (and I'm not a lover of excessive heat).

Stayed here for a three night break for bed and breakfast so we were free to be out all day and evening. What a lovely surprise when we arrived! It is very grand with a very friendly and helpful receptionist! There are two small lifts for the five floors. The room was very adequate with a hospitality tray and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco as a mini bar fridge! There was a shower and towels and toiletries were replenished each day! It is only a few metres away down some steps from Plaza Valencia! I was just gob smacked to be so close to all these Roman Ruins — absolutely amazing! Only a five minute walk from The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, The Pantheon and the open top bus stop so really central. The views from the roof terrace are amazing too! Only downside is that it's rather noisy at night but that's a small price to pay for being so close to everything! The breakfast was very plentiful with cereals, pastries, cheese and hams, fruit and yogurts, rolls, toast, fruit juice and teas and coffee!

Were there for 1 week now. Top location, super location, good breakfast, friendly and clean. Conclusion: Quiet room backwards sure of advantage. For us, perfect hotel for trip to Rome.

Very nice hotel in a top location. Friendly, clean, maybe a little plush. Good breakfast for every taste something. Great roof terrace overlooking Rome/madness.
We had be a room to the street, which in February is not a problem, but with the window open in the summer is to think about sleep not because of road traffic.
We felt very well all in all!

This is very central to many of the sights. Steps from piazza Venezia. Go to the rooftop to get your bearings and see the sights. From hotel it is a 6 min walk to the famous trevi fountain. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi and breakfast. The rooms are average size. The shower might be too tight for some. The walls between rooms are thin. But the hotel is really nice. The front desk staff are friendly.

The only good thing is the location which is perfect to go everywhere; and also the views that are spectacular. Otherwise it is normal as any other but 4-star for nothing, as lot 2, as much.

In General, I do not recommend this hotel. Since this is a four star hotel situations of this kind have no place — not to leave food on top, why not the cleaners during the day and open balconies covered with ants, often making a party room and bite at night, in addition can be unknowingly transported by a House-things I've seen as a cockroach ran out of the kitchen, I picked it up and showed a support, which concluded that it's nothing-fruit served at breakfast were not always fresh melon, for example skwaśniały-cleaners throw everything away what they consider as waste (empty bottles, for example, would like to return to the store to receive the deposit, or stored paper, plastic bags containing too!

Excellent hotel, very convenient location next to one of the central squares and within walking distance of major attractions. Gorgeous rooftop vernada with (admittedly room in July there had not filed). Conviently window on the charming church. The single room was plasma, in a double-pretty old TV with one religious channel from the Russians. Breakfast without warm starters, but with good juice. Tv works only if you have enabled the light;).

The only thing good that has the hotel is that it is centrally located. It's a shame the treatment is horrible. The hotel is cochambroso. Garbage and mold reach drapes the room. The staff does not know the word education or sympathy.
We found the room with trash from the previous tenants. The tubs had not been disinfected rust since they built it.
Very poor breakfast. And of course, let's not forget that 4 stars is just a drawing on the door poster, because here in Spain that would be a bad death pension.
