Love this hotel! Stayed here 3 times… Great location, close to Vatican; walk everywhere. Great staff too!

Hotel is fantastic staff are amazing I’d highly recommend this hotel its location is only a ten minute walk to the Vatican and 20 to 30 minutes to everything else.

We are staying at the hotel for 7 days. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. The breakfast has a great selection and very tasty.

I arranged for 30 of my group to stay at the hotel. We were not disappointed. We loved everything about the hotel especially the staff.

I couldn’t find anything bad about this hotel if I tried, first impressions don’t get a second chance… Patricio at the desk was amazing… Alessandro at valet and porter were beyond helpful, if you find yourself booking a hotel? And you are here? Be prepared for an amazing experience!

We stayed there for 3 nights and had a fabulous time, the hotel is situated perfectly for visiting all the main attractions of Rome. The hotel is beautiful and kept wonderfully clean and well maintained. We would definitely return here so thank you to all the staff that helped make our stay so great.

Every Time I travel to Rome I book a Room at this classy Hotel. The Staff is really friendly, the location is perfect if you wish to visit the town freely moving by public transport or simply by foot. The rooms are big and bed s are top class. Breakfast is rich and most important is quality and tasty. Fares are affordable for such services! A must for those who want to taste the italian quality experience!

This is a wonderful hotel! It is close to many restaurants and attractions. The workers are very kind and make sure you are taken care. They have a delicious complementary breakfast and a bar area where you can get sandwiches for lunch.

Lovely hotel with good amenities and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location and great for visiting all the normal attractions. Being located just the other side of the river makes it perfect arwa to stay as the main tourist streets are within easy walking distance but you benefit from a quieter more serene feel. Only downside was the shower — poor water pressure and difficult to regulate the temperature — although a lot better when not using it at the busiest times. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful hotel. The staff are very friendly and enjoyed the effort we went to to speak Italian. By the end of our stay we were able to ask simple questions in Italian thanks to them. The beds are amazing and it's ideally located for the Vatican.

Location is prime and walking distance from Vatican City. Hotel is clean and welcoming. Absolutely loved the location & out room. Staff was friendly and breakfast was outstanding. We had the superior room with the balcony. Definitely recommend this place.

Wonderful place to stay. While it is a bit out of the central part of city, it is in a quite and safe neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of the Spanish Steps and very close to high end shopping. The staff is lovely and the rooms are sizable. Most importantly, they offer "Handy" which is a smartphone you can use (free of charge) with unlimited data and international calling! Such a great add-on which helped us a little when trying to wonder around Rome.

Great hotel that is well located in Rome — walking distance to great restaurants, cafes, Spanish Steps and other notable locations, and excellent staff. Exchange dollars for Euros at front desk. Staff brought us free champagne for my girlfriends birthday.

Some of the staff on reception were a bit rude, the main lift wasn't working, food from the bar was not heated properly. Nice room, good breakfast, reasonably central location.

Nice boutique style hotel, rooms are pretty small. We had to be moved to another room because of ants. The staff was very accommodating and upgraded us without hesitation. They really cater to you and are very helpful especially the front desk. Money exchange available at the hotel also, breakfast was excellent.

There is excellent location, there is the possibility to park the car, attentive staff, a quiet place in the quiet streets of Rome, good breakfast, Wi-Fi.

Very nice hotel and staff. Room was clean and nicely appointed, since it was our honeymoon we had a bottle of pressecco waiting for us. Providing a cell phone for use was a great touch as well.

If you are looking for the best, your search stops here. THe hotel is so centrally located that you won't believe how close you are to every sight that is worth visiting in the Eternal city. Start your day with an american breakfast you'll wish for the next morning to be here already want to come back for more. The rooms, the staff, the management, everything is just perfect. I had the best hotel experience here of my whole entire life of travelling around the world as a reporter.

Great place, rooms are clean, accommodations comfortable, working Wifi, now I'm happy. Great bar on premises and Larissa the Bartender phenomenal. Couldn't ask for more… I would recommend 150%.

Hotel Mellini was nice! Just outside of Vatican city with a restaurant next door (that's amazing). Within walking distance of a town square and about 10 minutes walking of Vatican City. Breakfast was included with our stay, it was okay at best.

Great staff. Lovely breakfast. Excellent location for Rome centre and St Peters. Will be coming back. The hotel bar is as expensive as you can imagine. Apart from that it's top notch.

Great location in the city. Near enough for the local sites and restaurants but away from busy streets and traffic. The staff are really welcoming and friendly — nothing seems to be too much trouble for them. And our room had a free smartphone with guides, maps and recommend places to visit, as well as free internet and calls, that we could use for our stay. It meant we could tour the city without worrying about using our own mobile data abroad. Such a great idea! We went for my wife's birthday and would recommend this as a great place for couples.

Had 10 great days here. Not far to walk to all major sights. Resturants in local area were amazing. They staff were really friendly and were always ready to give advice on where to eat, shop etc. Overall the staff doubled with great accommodation made our stay in Rome a holiday we'll never forget.

Great hotel. Recommended more for individuals than for groups, but I have to admit that the staff is absolutely up to each situation. I had the opportunity to work with the hotel staff, at an event organized by my company, and the organization demonstrated was of absolute importance.

We loved Hotel dei Mellini! Everyone was so friendly! Our room was comfortable, very clean and all amenities were available. Breakfast was great, with lots of choices. Hot chocolate was delicious. Reception staff offered advice regarding travel and restaurants and booked transport to airport. Bar lady was lovely We were so pleased we booked to stay here and would recommend it as a great base for a trip to Rome! We walked 30 miles over 3 days but enjoyed every minute!

Hotel very well located in Rome in a quiet area with several excellent restaurants nearby. The staff are really friendly and small care. The room we had was clean and spacious. On the other hand, the bathroom is quite sad, the breakfasts do not have quality products, the daily cleaning service is sloppy. It's a pity because the hotel has a real potential to do better in view of the strengths it has.

This is our second time staying at this hotel — I was sitting on the roof terrace 2 years ago today, but it was our last day. Thank you very much for the surprise bottle of Prosecco for my Birthday & nice wee message. It was also great that you put us on the 6th floor with the girls in the next room — it was like we had our own wee hallway. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again. All staff were very friendly & very helpful.

In this hotel you feel always ' at the center of everyone's attention. From the front desk to the breakfast room everyone is always ready to respond in a friendly helpful and especially competent. the staff are the real strength of this structure. my accommodation was very spacious and bright. With 2 bathrooms which of course are always comfortable. Cleanliness and order complete a sober but comprehensive.

Very nice hotel in a central location! The hotel is very stylish and the service was perfect from check-in to departure. Also our room was great and the breakfast very tasty. All staff were always very friendly and helpful and have helped that we feel. Due to the central location, the hotel provides the perfect base for exploring Rome and its monuments on foot! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and come back at any time.

Wonderful location. Walking distance to Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona. An absolute hidden gem. Very nice lobby, room clean and very reasonably priced. The included Continental breakfast was lavish and extensive in selection. The staff spoke English reasonably well, and were very helpful. We were steered to a nice restaurant down the street that opened early for we crass Americans that like to eat dinner before 8PM. A superb Hotel.

Surprisingly nice place f or Roma.
