Gonfalone 6

Fantastic 4 night stay at Gonfalone6 in Rome.
We loved the location, right on the river and close to all the major tourist attractions in the city.
Rooms are large and spacious, showers and bathrooms are huge, king size beds are super comfortable.

We’ve been to Rome 4 times now and stayed in different locations across the city, but if we come again we’ll be booking here again definitely.

Great location close to everything, Great facility and most importantly great staff. They were supper helpful from the moment we made the booking, through the reception process although we were extremely late. Later helping us address a complication we had during our stay. I highly recommend the place if you want to enjoy the "real" Roma.

Very good hotel, our suite was big and we liked our big bathtub! The big bed was really comfortable and we had TV with netflix! The reception was very helpful. We can recommend this hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Rome. Located in walking distance to most of the highlights, many cosy bars and delicious restaurants around. Stuff provides excellent service. 100% recommended.

A fantastic place from every aspect.
The room was luxurious, but not in the way of a copy/paste chain hotel.
The location was perfect, in a quiet area but very close to all the main tourist sites.
But best of all, the staff. They were patient, enthusiastic and helped us with all our requests. Best staff of any hotel I have stayed in. And that makes all the difference.

Everything was wonderful, beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff is very helpful and goes out of there way to accommodate your every need or concern. The apartment was well maintained and kept spotless during our entire 10 day stay.

No breakfast. I stayed here for 2 nights in March and previously, it's a great location. The rooms are good, the location great, next to the Anti-Mafia HQ. However they have dropped their breakfast, you are left with a kettle in the room. I recommend you stay, I also recommend the return of a light breakfast.

Wonderful accommodations in a very convenient location to all the sites to be seen in Rome. Our apartment was clean, the beds very comfortable and Valeria was great to provide lots of information about the area.

The Gonfalone 6 is a great place. Its clean quiet and comfortable. It is in the middle of all the great sites and almost everything is in walking distance. Also the young lady who checked us in is fantastic, from a nice introduction about the great places to eat and areas to visit when we first checked in, to helping us coordinate rides from the airport and leaving. Just amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again.

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay. The location is excellent. Valeria was helpful with suggestions for nearby restaurants and sites. She was able to book us an airport transfer also. The area is not crowded by tourists (like us) and one can find wonderful restaurants and shops. There's very easy access to Trastevere.
Our room was bright and comfortable. It was cleaned each day. It is a misnomer to call it a B&B as there was no breakfast but some rooms come with kitchenettes. In spite of a busy road closeby, it was quiet.

Do not stay here. The location is absolutely perfect, but that is it. The beds in the twin room are as hard as sleeping on the floor. They have no mattress toppers to make them more comfortable, even though we asked. A 3-4" mattress topper would have made the beds comfortable enough to sleep on them, a simple $100 item, and they don't have them. There are reviews on other forums complaining about hard beds. It may be the beds are a problem only in the twin room, not sure. We stayed 4 nights and averaged 4 hours of sleep a night due to the poor bedding. This is also a construction zone (at least 1+ month from what we can tell from other reviews). We flew in from USA and needed to sleep. Even if the beds were comfortable, there would be no sleep with all the hammering and banging going on. It appears they are renovating this property while renting rooms, something that should *never* happen. There's no warning on their website saying they are under construction. This is also not a B&B. There's no breakfast served here. Now, the positive. The staff is very pleasant when they are here. Reception is often closed. There are *three* codes to remember to be able to get to your room. One for the front door (reception is often gone), one for the hallway where your room is located, and a third code for your room. I would hate to get out in case of a fire. We were expecting a wonderful place to stay based on past reviews, but it is not here.
