Smaller and absolutely lovely hotel with a very central location. Big beds in single rooms, big bathrooms. Beautiful period rooms, lovely decorated. Absolute all staff are lovely and very helpful. Given map on arrival (helpful for the 1sr time visitor). 24 hours reception. Some rooms rooms face lovely patio & air conditioning is great. Great choice at breakfast. Really pleasant 2 nights stay, would really recommend it.

Very nice hotel! It is located in the center of Venice. Very varied breakfast and kind staff. It is our favorite hotel in Venice.

Really nice hotel perfectly located between Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Walking distance to a lot of good restaurants. We went out for drinks at night and we felt safe and comfortable walking around the area. No elevator like most Venice hotels but the staff will help with your luggage. They’re really nice and helpful too. There’s a shop next door for souvenirs which was cheaper than those close to tourist spots.

Wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was pleasant and clean. Breakfast was great — eggs, sandwiches, quiche, etc. On top of the usual pastries and coffee. Location can't be beat — quick walk to San Marco and surrounded by great shops and restaurants, but on enough of a side street that it was quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, great location and the staff is really nice.

Lovely little hotel hidden off the back streets of venice. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Quite often we would ask for directions and were given a map and advice on what to see/where to go. Rooms a bit dated but that just seemed to suit the old Venice hotel. Food and service were also very good. Will book here again when we return to Venice.

I would recommend this hotel.

Serenissima is a great hotel! It is really super located. From here you can reach all parts of the city very quickly. And what's more beautiful, the Vaporetto station is a few metres away. From here the water bus line goes to the airport! And there is a delicious breakfast! The staff is very nice! And I would disagree with the previous review: We were in Venice at the end of February and it was very cold, but the hotel was warm and the heating worked.

Amazing Hotel. Kind.

A decent Venetian summer hotel-no heating-in winter does not work. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very steep stairs, however it is a common place for Venice, the rooms are air-conditioned. The bar is very small. It is surprising to leave room keys during absence.

Nice boutique hotel. Front desk staff spoke English. My room was a little tiny but the bathroom was perfect size. Provided breakfast with a lot of food to choose from.

Modest, tidy small hotel. Not suitable for discerning travelers. Perfect location! Five minutes before San Marco and the Rialto bridge! Supermarket in 2 minutes! Several ATMs, including Unicredit. Quiet enough. Sorry no air conditioning and safe box. There is no restaurant, Breakfast is served in a makeshift dining room. Not a large bar next to reception.

Rooms are greats. Staff is wonderful and they even have a little bar. And it has AC which is very needed in September and in August.

I have stayed at Hotel Serenissima at least four times. On every occasion, the staff was friendly and wonderful, the service excellent and helpful, and the breakfast has always been absolutely delicious! The hotel is in a very beautiful and historic building. The location of the hotel is a five-minute walk from San Marco square, and the Rialto Bridge! A perfect position to see all of the beauty the city has to offer! A special thanks to Michele for all of his kindness!

The breakfast was very good, the room was small but comfortable with nice A/C. Would want to stay here again.

Great location, access to pretty much everywhere is on hand. Reception staff very friendly. It's a very quaint building with lots of character. Rooms are a little small but wasn't a problem for me. Good Wi-Fi and a lovely buffet breakfast. There's no lift so you might need to think about this if you have mobility issues.

Hotel Serenissima is located just a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square, and the Rialto bridge in Venice. Our room was on the second floor, windows facing a busy dtreet, but our room was comfortable and quiet. Could have been the air conditioning. We stayed 2 nights, we felt the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A fabulous breakfast was included each morning. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and informative. We felt it was a great deal. Would definitely return.

Excellent service and breakfast… Super clean at a very reasonable rate for Venice proper… Cannot understand why some sources consider this a 2 star hotel… It is at least 4, and truly a hidden gem. Venice is full of places and people that will rip you off, and at the least test your patience. None of that is found at this hotel, it is truly a wonderful place…

Good value for a great location in Venice. True, the rooms are tiny and the rates exorbitant, but that's to be expected in Venice. When I stayed they had unlimited Internet access which is a true rarity in Italy.
