Great service and location. Modern and clean rooms. Welcome service for a very nice bachelorette party.

Elegant ordered precise service and decorated for every Vesta or event.

Was expecting much worse after reading some reviews. The first room we got was in the old part and was definitely adequate though not of a high standard. We decided to upgrade to a newer room and were very happy. I'd rate it higher than a 2 star hotel in the new rooms. Breakfast wasn't amazing but sufficient. I don't recommend sitting outside because of all the pigeons.

Outdated rooms. Damage to the bathtub and the floor. Dusty. All in all not Entfehlenswert!

Rooms were very warm and humid, no air conditioning. A little bit better breakfast than expected. OK bathroom. Decent service. Nice and calm location.

I must say not bad as a two star hotel, although maybe it was a bit too dirty.

Well, cheap for Venice.

We arrived and sent us to a room that to get, we had to have a compass because we had to go through several sectors, exit to the patio and newly we could get to the room. The room is very small, we had 2 suitcases and had to put on the ceiling of the closet. We had 2 beds that were attached and the box spring of one of the mattresses was smaller than the mattress, so the mattress protruding of the bedspring. The room had a smell very ugly. The breakfast is served in a rather long and very dark and it was very basic. The Internet had to pay 2 Euros for 1 hour and 5 Euros for 12 hours at a time. The truth that it is unfortunate that these cases do not have any way of being able to say that you don't like what they offer, and you return the money to hire another hotel. I believe this kind of hotels if you could make this kind of punishment is grateful for much more, and I really worry for their passengers. The reception staff are very attentive and always looked after us properly. Should take care of the passenger and if not happy refund the money without objection. I think that so grateful for more details and services they provide.

One night early June 2015, quiet, staff very friendly and very accommodating (guarding of the suitcases). Breakfast very well despite the presence of heavy smokers obviously in lack's outdoor… (we asked, it is allowed, too bad. ). Room overlooking the rio without interest, not even worthy of a 1 *, too hot (not), sdb asked in a corner of the room, wc on the floor horrible but correct location. Hey it's Venice… even hotels are falling apart, but it's still Venice, it's beautiful, but a little too factory to tourists.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel for our vacation in Venice. Our room was really nice and neat. Very arranged and cleaned hotel. When we arrived at the front desk the stuff was very polite and got us in our room right away. The hotel has great location and is closed to many sights. If we are coming back to Venice we will definitely check in again at Hotel Alla Salute.

Great location, hotel economical and practical. Nice surprise pies served during breakfast.

I do not recommend it.
We arrived on December 31 at 10 pm in the evening with a reservation made 2 months ago, arriving tell us that the reservation was canceled. We had not received any notification of cancellation. After discussing several minutes. They did not offer us no solution. "Full hotel". After much insisting said us to have a room for €170, just at that moment I'm going to the hotel's website. And they had a room for €149. We were ripping at 22 h in the evening new year's Eve. As we had no other option at the end we had to sleep in this hotel.
The room very destroyed, too cold. And the bed sank much.

The best thing about this hotel was still the breakfast with homemade cakes! The room that we had was very close, with damp, called forth by the poorly ventilated bathroom fragrance. The faucet from the sink and in the lamp were very keimig, and for two people, there was only a bath towel on request! The men at the front desk were not exactly the friendliest. Should I stay again in Venice, I will take another hotel me with security.

Great, flawless stay and service as well as the more expensive hotels in the area, the location then. A 1 stop away from Saint Mark's square.

It's the worst place to stay in Venice. Although it's a quiet part of Venice and close to main sights such as S. Marco, the walls were so thin that I could hear coitus of nice couple from the top number, screaming baby from another. And moreover the cleaning lady took all the soap so I even have to ask for ADDITIONAL SOAP. That has never happened to me at any hotel on the planet.

I will not, even if the employees are attentive, it is half in ruins, not rely on photography. They are doing works and they are rebuilding it, but in December 2013 stayed in a room that was very bad. I will not because of the location and the price it may be interesting.

Employees put will but it's cold, there is no TV in rooms and this half in ruins, at night is very desolate, is November and the. 17 hours is at night, you don't know to do, Oh and fresh are now installing an elevator, I do not recommend.

Service is really bad! I booked the room for 4 nights but the booking is automatically cancelled because of my late arrival, which means the room is not guaranteed unless u check in on time. However it was written on the booking confirmation that your room is guaranteed for late arrival.

Great budget hotel in Venice. Was here with my gf in November, paid less than €60 for a double per night with breakfast (think it was a special offer + lil extra for canal view). They told me that in the high season prices tend to be much higher. Overall good experience, the hotel is one stop away from San Marco, we had room 15 with bathroom and canal view where (so they claim) Ezra Pound used to sleep in. Nice helpful staff, decent breakfast (buffet). No complains! Venice is simply extraordinary. I liked the fact that in the winter it's not busy, no lines for museum, good prices and deals. Grazie Hotel Salute! Def trying to come back next year.

This hotel ruined our stay in Venice. First, even though we were told we could check in at 9am before booking, they did not allow us to check in until 3. The shared bathroom on the first floor is a claustrophobic's worst nightmare. It's very long but really, really narrow. The toilet shakes and there is no soap. The room was old and dingy, the sheets did not feel clean (later proved that they really were not), and the walls were paper thin. We were able to very clearly hear the couple having sex above us, the front desk couldn't do anything about it. When we asked to change rooms because of all the noise, there was a bedbug where I had previously been lying. The room they put us in was right next to the bathroom so we heard people doing their business for the rest of the night. THEN, when we went to check out (at 5 am), our wallet was missing. It was definitely stolen there because we had had it the night before. The staff was moderately helpful. The lobby is deceptively cute. Not worth what we paid for it.

This is really well placed in quieter part and if you are lucky to get one of the better rooms — ours was No 49 you will get value for money. We were part of a group of 11 and most of us had good rooms and as alarge group were put in a separate breakfast room not so nice as the rest as had white plastic chairs but access to same buffet — all good and plentiful but coffee a bit crap. I think it's one of those places that would be best described as shabby chic but in the end you get what you pay for. I would say some of their website photos are a bit deceptive as the place was a bit tatty (not dirty). Overall was a relaxed place to stay and the staff were very friendly.
