Very well placed hotel with a magnificent view of the lagoon. Very easy to access. Very available and friendly staff. Perfect for 4 day we.

For me this is the best hotel in Venice!

Historic Venetian building overlooking the San Marco basin in front of San Giorgio, not very large but very welcoming and with suggestive lagoon views. Staff always helpful and caring as well as very kind! To spend a weekend or a holiday discovering Venice is ideal!

All rooms have spectacular views of the lagoon. Minutes from the Arsenale vaparetto stop and a short walk to either San Marco or the biennale. Lovely room, excellent breakfast, helpful staff and great location…

Class, elegance and absolute relaxation make this Hotel a pearl for the most beautiful city in the world. I have been with him for almost twenty years and in his rooms time seems to be suspended. Perfection reigns. The location is breathtaking and every detail is taken care of in a certain way. One of the many highlights of this oasis of tranquility is the staff who, for many years as mentioned before, welcome me and the people who shared this experience with me, first of all my wife, as princes. Summing up in a word my thoughts on the Hotel Bucintoro I can not add anything but… Thank you!

Best hotel to stay, nice location, good food.

Hello, we came for Valentine's day, and it was the gift of my 40 years. A staff of extreme kindness and with little touches, it's very fun,. We have always been very well served by the staff as well for simple information in their task. Hotel to recommend again and again +++++++

My husband and I were so surprised at the warm welcome and and all the help! The location is fabulous and you can see Sigh Bridge from the little terrace on the water! It is so clean and beautiful. Our room has a bathtub and an extra twin bed! Love love love!

Great hotel! Attentive service, comfortable rooms (albeit on the small side but you compromise for a fantastic view of Venice looking back in), great amenities and great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of tourist central and enjoy a 10 mins leisurely walk into San Marco with shops and sights all along the way. We booked months in advance and got a great discount from the rack rate plus a few extras and it was far better than other hotels of the same or more exxy rate because of it.

Nicely theamed. The hotel had a great view of the lagoon. The breakfast was ok. The AC can be a bit weak during the warm times. Needs some walking to get to San Marcos. They offered a complimentary water taxi to the island that is famous for glass making.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and work hard to make sure everything is smooth! The room we were in had a terrific view of the water and the canals. Rooms are on the smaller side but extremely high quality. The included breakfast was delicious!

Very clean rooms with great views and a pleasant breakfast. Location is not too central, perhaps a little off the beaten path, but still very much within walking distance of almost everything. My wife and I had a wonderful experience there overall.

Very quaint Hotel, a stone's throw from San Marco but in a quiet area. Very friendly and professional Staff.

Nice hotel, reminds me of the inside of a boat (lots of cherry timbers, mohagany etc). The distance from the train station is a little far to walk (especially if you have luggage) however, for around $15 you can just get the ferry to the wharf that drops you off right in front. Cool views of the water and you are a nice short stroll to everything you'd want to see.

Love the room, it’s elegant and simple. They have a study/office lounge for their clients (Which I think is very hospitable) the only thing that disappointed me was the “Breakfast box” they gave much when we are checking out early; A juice box, 2 packed toasted bread, A nutela sachet and a apple. I thought this is a 4 star hotel? Lol. I thought the “Breakfast box” will also be quality like the room.

Spacious, well appointed suites. Windows open onto The Grand Canal. Everything within easy walk. Fantastic staff, so obliging and knowledgeable. Sit outside and have breakfast right on the Grand Canal.

Perfect location, Far enough away from the crowds but close enoughto walk everywhere. Stephano and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and beautiful with great views of the grand canal. The only place I will stay in Venice.

Stephano and his staff were amazing! Great location, great breakfast, amazing cocktails at the bar at night. Stephano recommended two restaurants and they were the best food on our whole trip. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful location, nice suite room with spectacular canal view, great breakfast spread till 10.45 am — — very thoughtful hours. Slighly away from touristy area and bit of walk to San Marco but is what we wanted. Round the corner turning left great selection of restaurants. Alilaguna blue for airport is steps away. Free water taxi ride to Murano glass factory — a must experience but hold tight to wallet — — very expensjve but very very beautiful glass but little bit pushy sell. Need 500 to 5000 Euros to buy something basic elegant; too much for mid class American budget. Altogether a very enjoyable experience. Hotel has bar only which is desolate — — they should make it more lively with tapas or antipasti. Highly recommend Hotel Bucintoro for mid-level budgets — $500 per night in high season.

Very comfortable accomodations and spectacular views. The nautical theme blended well with the waterfront setting. Staff is cordial, friendly and helpful. Perfectly located away from the crowds but close to all the sites. Sunsets are breathtaking. We would return and recommend to others.

My wife and I just had a 2 day stay at the Hotel Bucintoro in June 2013 that was nothing less than excellent. The hotel concierge arranged a water taxi to pick us up at the train station at 1:00 a. M. When our train arrived. Our room was absolutely incredible. If you want the BEST view of Venice you have to book the room on the 5th floor with the lagoon view which has your own private large balcony with table and chairs. The view really is breathtaking. The room was spotless and we even found two chambermaids singing and dancing as they were cleaning a room near ours. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was superb and convenient from 7:00 a. M to 10:30 a. M. Complete with a nice spread of fresh foods, baking, fruit, eggs, meats and wonderful espressos. The hotel also offers a complimentary water taxi and personal tour of the Murano glass facility plus drop off to a destination of your choice afterwards. It was a real pleasant surprise as we wanted to go there anyway and the water taxi rides to and from alone would have cost more than 100 Euros — this savings helped justify the little extra we paid for the lagoon view room. I can't say enough good things about the staff, service and location. Highly recommended place to stay in Venice.

This hotel must surely be one of the very best in Venice. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and lovely. The room we have is splotless clean and the view over the water on one side is stunning whilst the view from the other windows, looking towards San Marco is breathtaking.

We stayed there in August for one week and it was awsome. Our room was so nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great too. I enyoyed it so much to sit outside every morning enjoying the good food and super nice view. The location was just right. Just over the bridge is a small street with a lot of restaurants with reasonable prices and also a grocery. Just buy a bottle of wine there and sit by the window of your room in the evening, saves you a lot of money :) and it's very romantic. My husband and I would go back again.
